While it is indeed a great achievement by our fellow human brothers and sisters in China, it is with all honesty no remarkable progress, but a sad
plight.
It is not remarkable because their technology to Space was either copied or stolen from the West, not something they created on their own.
The rendezvous of space craft could even be done today by 17 years old college students with cheaper models attached with thrusters, sensors and range
finders. It is nothing difficult or impressive, if that was the impression wanted by the CCP gov to the world.
For all the Billions spent and will be spend for their space programmes, a very high and significant portion of their citizens are still languishing
in poverty with no hope in sight, just as India's citizens equally are.
If a nation cannot take care of its own People first, offer them at least a modicum of social expenditure, it should not be looking to Space, more so
to only repeat what others had done before. All that wasted money could have been put to better use, and that itself would be more impressive to the
world.
