Interesting part about this is that this is the second Mexican Interior Minister to die in some sort of air crash in 3 years. Juan Camilo Mouriño Terrazo died in a plane crash Nov,4 2011.

en.wikipedia.org...

It would be interesting to hear what he was working on etc...Could they have both been murdered?

Also both interior secretaries died falling from the sky (Blake from a helicopter, Murillo from a lear jet), they both were close friends of the Mexican President Calderon.

The last Blake's tweet was a recordatory about Murillo's death.

Blake's accident was on 11-11-11 a little after 11:11 am (the helicopter was found around 11:30)
Murillo's death was on 4th November

Two interior secretaries death under the same president. Now that begins to be above standard probabilities.

it seems they were both involved in the war against drugs and criminal prosecution. The other
minister that died in 2008 was also killed with a guy that was a prosecutor,Santiago Vasconcelos he was apparently the countrys' top drug prosecuter.

Sorry for the vagueness, I'm on my phone but the start of a trail is there...
I'm sure it leads down a very murky and sinister rabitt hole.

Like i said in my Zetas/Anonymous warpath post, the only way to get rid of the problem in mexico, and around the world, is an across the board legalization of every drug. It will elliminate drug lords who can corrupt the greedy with their vast wealth.

Look at what the Zetas crime family did to those computer chat room kids today. They cut their heads off, for speaking their mind. That could be any one of us here. Destroy their power. unfortunately, there is no money in legalizing drugs. The prisons would lose two thirds of their guests. The DEA would go away, and the CIA couldn't sell heroin to fund their secret wars.

This is what happens when someone like the man in the helicopter, tries to fight a losing battle against monsters, they die in false ways. The corruption keeps any real investigation from happening, and the monkey wrench that was "accidentally" left in the rotor engine, is never found. The truth dies with each good person.

Rage against the dying of the god damn light!!!

Do you really think they are just going to *poof* vanish?

Legalizing drugs wont do anything because they will just move on to something else ... like the Mafia did when we repealed Prohibition. It took the RICO Act to finally eliminate the Mafia ... legalizing the sale of alcohol was a mere annoyance to them.

That being said, there is NO WAY in heck this is an accident. Two interior ministers under the same president killed in aircraft crashes ... yeah something is very suspicious here. The Interior Minister is the top law enforcement official in Mexico - in other words he/she is target #2 after Calderon himself.

As soon as I heard about this I knew there had to be something fishy going on. Highly unlikely that 2 interior ministers died in air crashes within 3 years of eachother, although not impossible I suppose.

However, given the suspicious deaths of Jaime Roldos President of Ecuador in 1981 and Omar Torrijos Maximum Leader of Panama in 1981 also, its seems unlikely these Mexican crashes might have been accidents seeing as we know air crashes are a favourite assasination method as its destroys and/or covers up the majority of evidence and can simply apportion blame on pilot/mechanical error or the weather...

Hey Chris

First off RICO did not make the mafia dissapear. They are still there, like you said the legalization of alcohjol did nothing. And why is that? Becuase other drugs became illegal after prohibition ended. It was the same game again, just a different name.

Heroin and Marijuana became the drug of choice to the counter culter that sprung up after world war two. With alcohol legal, the DEA (then under a different name I think, can't remember) had no use, so they lobbied washington to make these drugs the new enemy of the people. Therefore solidifying the DEA purpose. From then on the war on drugs became the juggernuat it is today.

The mafia you speak of, changed gears, switched its business model, and took on the new product like an old friend. They already had their underground ways of transport, i.e boats trains planes and whatever other way worked for them during prohibition to transport drugs to needy customers. Sure they dealt in other things, stolen goods, and prostitution, With a modern addition of pornography, but none of these compared to the cash flow that is drugs. Through old contacts, the transition was made easy.

Now, with mafia control of the major cities, Chicago, NewYork, NewJersey, Las Vegas, and California, amoungst others in the US and around the world, they have built a kingdom for themselves. RICO cannot touch them, becuase if one Family is takin down, another pops up in its place to get a taste of the great treasure that is DRUG MONEY. Mexicans and Russians, are just two of the non italian groups vying for a taste of the powder, grass, and pill gold spilling from the top of the mountain.

You do not hear about the Mafia anymore becuase they got smart. The years of Al Capona and John Gotti are done (for there sake if they are smart). They learned that acting tuff on camera just gets them a nice target on their heads. So they changed their business model again, and hid behind corparations or LLC's that they could luander money through with out anyone being the wiser. Attention only brings pursuit from some up and coming law man trying to make a name for himself, or even rarer, one who just wants to do the right thing! The latter usually dies when he cannot be bought off.

So, back to your point. I said legalizing all drugs would eliminate all the drug lords power around the world. You said this wouldn't work becuase they would move on to something else. What else is there that can bring in the amount of coin that drugs, and previously alcohol did? I can't think of one. Stolen goods, can only go so far, prostitution, a little farther (should also be legalized, I believe, but that is for another thread, not this one). Nothing, crime wise, besides weapons, can bring in the amount of money needed to sustain the drug kingdoms built on drug prohibition.

I give you an example of the amount of power one can attain through a system of prohibition. My favorite president, John F. Kennedy became one of the greatest leaders of America, but his family's wealth, and eventually, their legandary son's position as leader of the free world, had come from boot legging liqour. Joe kennedy made his fortune on an illegal trade.

The good that came out of prohibition was John Kennedy. But imagine now, where monsters have killed the more civil of the bootleggers. The new smuggles that have killed their compitition. Imagine if one day these heartless beasts have a son or duaghter that grew up in blood and fire to become leader of a land where they assasinated all the good people to make way for the son or daughter of frankenstein, lol ok back to topic. i am getting lost myself.

The legalization of drugs is the start, it takes away power. It has to be done now. But it may be too late. These families have been already established. their money made. Their next move, even if all drugs are legalized, is plain and simple power,. All they need to do is kill the ones who stand in their way. Do you see?

It is very dangerous the words I type. especially now a days. Would you defend me if i died by the hands of some thug with a gun or machete? would you stand and spill your beans and fears so others could understand. Or would you sit back and let the darkness spill into your towns, and homes and minds.

It is sad. It is shame!
