For those you us who like a good financial crisis flick, our wait is almost over for some new material for those of you who haven't seen it your missing out and for those of us the Greek tragedy will start around 10 days from now on November 1st on Reuters.

Plot outline
GOP officer Rick Perry leads a group of repossession survivors through a world overrun by debt.

Reviews
Author: "Angie" Merkel from Germany

First heard about this show a few weeks back. Since I love debt-movies I had to see what this was all about. At first glimpse I was a little skeptic, but the trailer for the first episode "Lehman Brothers" convinced me otherwise.

It matches all my expectations and MORE! I loved movies like "Grapes Of Wrath", "I Am Legendary Stupid" etc. This series is just like that, it's greedy socialists/bankers but still very realistic.

The way the plot is presented is very entertaining, but not very surprising. The acting by the Greek Government who claim "They never saw this comning" is top-notch and very believable. A drawback with TV-series is that the effects like the finance minister sobbing in his beer are usually quite tacky. However, here it's quite the opposite. Everything looks very realistic and honestly quite disgusting.

I can't wait to watch the next episode!

When do we get to see Michonne? She's like the "cow-bell" of the story; the more, the better.

Wasn't this already a Saved By The Bell episode?

It's a reference to the awesome drama series "The Walking Dead" on AMC which just started its second season. Personally, I love the concept of this OP and would say it is anything but a nonsense thread,

OP, I'm interested in your selection of Rick Perry. Was that made purely because of the lead character Rick Grimes shares Perry's first name, or is something else at work there? Personally, I'd have pegged Perry as more of a Shane style character... the guy who steps in under the presumption that he can claim another man's wife and son and expect them to love him, even when they discover their actual husbad/father is still alive and well. I'd be more inclined to cast either Romney or Newt Gingrich in the Rick Grimes role, mostly because the majority of the ideas the rest of the GOP field are working from belonged to one of them in the beginning and they seem to be defacto positions of greatest authority within the party itself.

Of course, having a bit of fun here...
Michelle Bachman would obviously be Merle Dixon
Ron Paul would portray Dale, (wise, empathetic, not an overpowering presence, unless he gets riled over something he truly believes in)
Gary Johnson would make a decent Glenn (Dorky, awkward, pretty easy to read)
Herman Cain as Daryl (Easily the hottest tempered, most straighforward person on the show)
and Rick Santorum could pass for any of the recently reanimated deceased....

Guest starring Obama as Dr. Jenner... the man closely connected with actions that made the mess infinitely worse, and ultimately ends up almost destroying everything in a miserably failed attempt at making it better.

OK, I admit that I chose Rick Perry as the name matched and for no other reason...but if anyone would like to suggest some comparable other characters, feel free.
