Okay so technically I’m not really a freshmen to ATS… but with my new nic I am Having to go through everything a new member goes through… Still It’s not my First rodeo… If I were to offer one bit of advice it to just find something your passionate about... and tell us about how you feel… Also to help you out a little here is my

The Ultimate Unofficial guide to Form Abbreviations:

ACK/NACK == Acknowledged / Not Acknowledged - a communication system that ensures the recipient gets the message
AFAIK == As Far As I Know
BOB == Bug Out Bag (Bag or rucksack pre packed for an emergency escape)
BOV == Bug Out Vehicle (Vehicle chosen as a preferred bug out option)
BSEG == big s*** eaten' grin
BTW == By the way
CCW== Concealed carry weapon (Pertains to a handgun not always a small one)
EDC == Every Day Carry (type of small legal knife or gun carried on the person every day)
FAK ==First Aid Kit
frex == for example
FTF == Face to Face

Good list. I always seem to come up on some obscure notation and have to google it... But, I think you had a typo:

"RV == Rendezvous Point"

Should be, "RP," no? That's the way we always noted it but maybe that's just a different way of noting the same thing?

No you were right the first time Grandad, Its a Rendez-Vous, translating directly to 'appointment' (a point to meet) So the abbreviation is RV.
