Next year, my school chums and I turn 40.
We are going to be making a road trip from Vancouver Bc to Las Vegas Nv.
I am interested in making some "conspiracy/weird stuff" stops, along the way.
We will travelling down through Washington, the Oregon coast, northern California, then Nevada.
I have the usual interests of an ATSer, ufo, military, government, dumb's, secret societies, ancient sites, the unexplained.
It would be great if I could repeatedly freak out my friends.

I would love to hear YOUR suggestions.

Here are some sights that I've found so far. I haven't gone throught them yet.

For Oregon: The Edge of Oregon
For Washington: WTA
For California: Weird California
For Nevada: Weird Las Vegas

I suspect that ATS members who are locals might be able to come up with much more interesting sights.
PM me if u require privacy.
And thanks!

I was going to try to describe this place to you, but you really can't. I mean, the building is upside down. Actually built on it's head. This place is definitely worth strolling through if you find yourself around Pigeon Forge, TN. While you're there you can check out the ghost town and Obergatlinburg, AKA random winter wonderland in Tennessee, if you're interested. Not really conspiracy, but interesting nonetheless

One suggestion:

The Great Owl at Bohemian Grove, Sonoma County. (California)

Be careful driving around in northern california dirt roads though. People with guns, protecting their crops, don't appreciate tourists. [Banjo plays]

Sounds like a great trip!

Area 51 is 100 miles North of Vegas!

You could visit Shasta area. It's known mainly for it's New Age community but also recently the location for (alleged) chemtrail ground-chemical analysis put in that chemtrails movie.

Alcatraz Island if you make it as far as San Francisco
(take highway 152 west, from highway 5, for a couple hour detour to see San Francisco Bay Area)

and last but not least!!! The Mustang Ranch! yes, it's a brothel
but there's definitely some conspiracy in the church telling us not a "have fun" before/outside of marriage

I've driven this route, from Washington or Oregon South to SF Bay Area, quite a few times. It's really not that far out of the way to zip through Napa/Sonoma, down to SF (San Francisco), then take 152 East to get back to hwy 5.
