As reported by Freedom_is_Slavery, www.abovetopsecret.com...
A “missing link “ supposedly has been found, that is 1.98 Million years old. Although it still looks like a monkey head, I found it curious that it has a cross on the bridge of it’s nose. I went to the Cairns.com.au webste and found these additional photos. The links below will take to their respective photo. For enhancement, I have outlined the cross on additional photos.

Here is a close up.

Here is a different perspective.

I know that some of these photos are grainy, that's why I provided the links. I'm sure that the anti-Divinity-ists, pro-monkeyists, and ant-theists, won't bother going to the links, and begin flaming me without reading the links provided. They should just stop being haters, and at least marvel at a monkey skeleton that is 1.98 million years old that has a cross on it's forehead.

If it wasn't for the Romans, the cross would be insignificant.

So, my question would be, what is the relevance of a cross on a 1.98 million year old monkey skull??

Why would a cross be relevant almost 2 million years ago? The cross it tied to Jesus and that was only 2000 years ago. Did the crucifiction echo backwards through time? This is nothing more than the mind seeing what the mind wants to see.

I don't see any cross except the one you drew on there. Even if there was a cross, what would be your point? If instead you had seen a pentagram what would you have thought? Should that be proof pagans were right? If you had seen the star of David would you have converted to Judaism?

I would have to go with Phage on this one. I see what you're talking about, but I think it's a case of pareidolia.

Still, interesting find. 1.98 million years old, huh? Is that give or take a few hundred thousand years?

That's OK Phage.
I'll draw it or you

Thank you again for your valuable contribution.
Please post more photographic evidence of this cross.
Again,
Thank you.

Grasping at straws. No cross, look more like a diamond. Which is more than a stretch too. Answer my post, what is your point?

The cross would not be irrelevant if not for the Romans or Christianity.

The cross has deeper meaning- it has always been a sign of the 4 directions- so you know where you are in this world. It has had meaning to many pagan cultures and has been held as sacred to people that have never SEEN a Bible, or, these days, that have and care little for it.

Cross does not always mean Christianity.
It would still be on a map if Christ had never been known.

I think it looks like this personally. Little different than a cross I guess.

Okay I can buy into that, I have seen the Celtic Cross, but I don't think the OP was about that. Unless the OP was pointing out that the Monkey was a Pagan Monkey.

I still can't see a cross though, even after the OP has drawn a cross on the skull, sorry.
