Why Dont People Provide Updates (mainly directed towards the paranormal studies forum)

Ok so here we go on rant number three. This time I came to rant about something on here. Specifically in the paranormal studies forum members will post something that is going on and asking for help or opinions or help. Other members respond with input and ask the OP to keep us posted and the OP will say they will. So we are left waiting for updates and checking the post and we get nothing because the OP has moved on to another topic. I am not saying that this is what happens with everyone but I have seen it a lot. Am I the only one that is bugged by this or is their others out there?? Sound off here.

Its annoying for sure! They probably came to the conclusion that it will never be explained!!
Like many topics, posters go off topic and the thread goes in another direction.
