The rise of the intelligence agencies. In world war 2 intelligence agencies were created in Europe, for example MI5 MI6. In the cold war it became necessary for intelligence agencies such as Mi5 MI6 to be given more power.
When the IRA was a threat in the UK MI5 and MI6 were given more power and funding. With the current middle eastern threat the intelligence agencies such as MI5 MI6 are being given more power and finance. The problem is that whenever there is a threat the intelligence agencies are given more and more power.
The problem is that at some stage they have too much control. At some stage the BIGGEST THREAT BECOMES PEACE.That's right PEACE ESPECIALLY WORLD PEACE BECOMES A THREAT: because with peace they can cooperate and thus have total control. So can the world stop attacking self long enough to forestall the crisis, or will we have to fight for ever to maintain global freedom: with the only way being killing our neighbours and brothers. Worse still most source of information on these matters are ex-spies which if they ever left the intelligence community could be rehired at any time.Perhaps some time in the future, crimes could be ignored simply for the usefulness of being able to hire ex-spies back when required. The question is has it gone too far already? Is it too late?

So lets pretend you're an intelligence organisation; you follow people and in doing possibly break the law. At the end you realize someone you have been harassing: in some way breaking the law: is innocent. Do you?
A. walk away and don't mind if you get the blame for your crimes.
or B. Try to give the impression it is someone else, For example, IRA, middle eastern terrorists, mafia, yakuza....
It occurs to me that a lot of the shadows they follow are themselves.

Constant spread and infiltration of organisations could lead to more similarity of thinking across completely different areas. It could squash new creative ideas: too many people would represent 1 organisation and their official view point.

Good news although The British prime minister is visiting Russia, the intelligence agencies are not co-operating. Just think what it would mean if they were: the United Kingdom co-operates with The European union, the United States of America and China has virtually loaned money to the world and so would have to co-operate with them: it would mean that with all these intelligence agencies co-operating they would possibly control virtually the whole world. The non co-operation has saved us: at least temporarily.
