It's their job to perform in emergency services. Hence why you don't hear about "good cops", because when they do something "good", they are doing their job.

Should we hear only the "good doctor" stories, or should we hear mostly the "malpractice" stories? Which do you think is more relevant to know, as far as being aware of one's surroundings?

It's not their job to be criminals, or do heinous things. This is why we see all those "bad cop" stories, because it's abhorrent and needs to be exposed. More civilians save other civilians, than cops, guaranteed.

Most cops have the same things we do ..home ,family ,hopes and dreams...mainly they just want to go home ..Alive each night .

i think you have that backwards, it should read "for every good cop there are hundreds of bad ones"

At least one still holds on to the values that really count.

What a good man for doing such a great deed.

ya, lets give someone credit for doing what they are supposed to do. should we celebrate garbage men because they keep our curbs clean of trash? lmao, give me a break. The whole reason you are posting this is because cops get so much hate. I wonder why they get treated like that? Oh I remember, they are all power tripping pigs with no brains.

This is the difference between a police officer and a police man.

We need more policemen/women.

You got 4 pages so far. Have they? What was it?
Are you one of the ones thinking he deserves something special for doing his job or doing the right thing?

Umm you're wrong. Here is a basic job description of a police officer

- Enforces state laws, local ordinances and traffic laws
- Arrests suspected violators of the law
- Responds to citizen-initiated calls for service
- Conducts investigations
-Patrols city streets, areas and businesses to deter criminal activity
- Explains law and police procedures to citizens
- Checks for warrants/wants on persons
- Identifies, collect and preserves evidence
- Observes, memorizes and recall detail
- Mediates domestic disputes

So in other words, this officer went above and beyond their call of duty
Prepares various reports and documents to complete investigations
Presents evidence and testimony in judicial settings
