Just a question for ATS:

Are Usama bin Laden and Osama bin Laden the same person?

Wonder if it has anything to do with the similarity of Osama/Obama?

So . . . who did the name change if it is the same person, and why?

Arabic names do not translate precisely into the Roman alphabet. Look at how many ways you can spell Ghaddafi or Muhammed.

In other words, yes they are the same person

Are regional dialects and spellings different in pakistan or afghanistan? cause here in TX , if you speak to a Mexican from deep down south, words get changed, people can get slapped.

No need to get huffy people. lol

I was just wondering because the death reports from 2003 say Usama.

They could say . . . yeah, we killed Usama, but not Osama.

Catch my drift?

That's hilarious. Can you give us some specifics?

Reminds me of the Obama Bin Laden(Obama and Biden=Obama Bin Laden) stickers that were all over before Obama was elected.

Well, I was discussing this on FB with a friend and we were wondering why the name is U S A M A here in the U S A as well. I don't really recall the name being reported in the media this way until now. Is there a subliminal reason, or is it an acronym for something more sinister??
Or is it because with a pres named Obama, so many reporters were saying that 'Obama has been killed'?

Yes, the conspiracist part of me is thinking that maybe we should look a little harder at this!
