Ok I feel this might be taken protesting a little far!

It would seem that anarchists groups are going to hold a naked protest on April 29th for the Royal wedding and are also going to make there own pornographic version of the Royal wedding video!

The dress code for the risque demonstration, which is being organised by anti-establishment groups including Lunarchy, Sluts Against Cuts and members of the International Union Of Sex Workers, is simply balaclavas for men and balaclavas plus red lipstick for women.

Members of a group called Meltdown, which organised the G20 demonstrations, are in charge of recruiting swingers and producing a blue movie of the event.

Now that is a protest!

We need more of these in the US! Maybe we could protest Planned Parenthood, or the cutting of funding for PLanned Parenthood. I am willing to protest on either side, as long as there is sex and nudity involved. Depending on the looks of the protestors, I might even switch to the better looking side mid-protest!

They certainly are going to have good weather for it as well... but I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a protest that turned violent without any cloths on... I can imagine exactly were the cops would be aiming there batons.

It would definitely be good to watch naked protesters going up against police though!

Im looking forward to seeing if this actually pans out.

I don't get what this protest is suppose to say about this wedding? I'm all for the nudity, hell, have fun. To bad we would be arrested in a heartbeat here in the good USA.

I can't wait to see the movie. Just the look on all the peoples faces there to watch the "royal" wedding. This will be classic. We should learn from our euro friends

A round robin protest.

That would definitely be one protest that the choosing of sides wouldn't have anything to do with the issues.

I don't know, granted the British royal family is trash, but still it is a wedding. I think the royal family should take names and make donations to certain groups so when a member of the protester group gets married or has an important celebration they get a taste of their own medicine.

Oh Yes? And what qualifies YOU to say the British Royal Family is trash? Hev you ever been to the UK? Ever met any of the Royal Family? Do you even know anyone who has?

Are there any more sources for this? I'm not denying its not happening but am reluctant to take the Daily Express's take on events to be honest. If people want to protest nude, I have no problem with this, cant really see how people can get too violent when they are planning a "sexy" event. It seems the protesting groups will be providing more entertainment than the service. It's like a big party for all the protest groups that exist in the UK today. Might be worth watching after all.

On the radio this morning they were saying the cost of the wedding is $34 million! Out of that price tag $32 million was for security, and the actual wedding is only $2 million. That is a sad, sad snapshot of our society.

Other notables, $80,000 for the wedding cake, which translates to $134 per slice!

Marie Antoinnette anyone? While economies crumble and people starve, the Royal Family is forced to spend $32 million dollars in security.....for a wedding! Obviously they are well aware of the discontent and rage people have for them, and yet they still find it acceptable to pay $134 per slice for a wedding cake?
