How can higher-up people withhold information that is going to cost lives and cause cancer? It goes beyond my comprehension.

They probably can't even make a run for it with no fuel, damaged roads and being unsure if outside is a Rontgen wasteland or not.


If I had a helicopter, I'd fly in there on a suit and take people away/drop food + geiger counters.

Looks like the radiation already got the good mayor's hair.
