He knows it's a crop circle because it deals with another ATS post where a cop witnessed three beings in a field where a crop circle was found, he approached them and they took off.. he received a sort of electric shock when he entered the field ..

I guess it's currently under investigation.. but this picture was in that thread

That's not a helicopter, it's a UFO! You see how it's just hovering there, not making any noise? It's definitely a UFO! No, wait, my mistake, it's a helicopter. I'd go with the Mi-26 as well.

Silbury Hill is the hill in the picture. Not sure what type of chopper it is.... but I suppose if you know the kind of helicopter, maybe you can work backwards and find military installations within its flying range, then sort further with the bases that would use that type of helicopter...

Then...

Well - then it's time for a field trip of course

It is defiantly a Puma helicopter, plus the photo is taken in the UK, silbury hill I believe.

Its one of the light utility helicopters designed by the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, an MI-2 or MI-6 possibly.

You'll find the proper identification some where here...

Link to manufacturer

Edit: My apologies, I didn't consider Puma. That is a strong candidate.

MI has exported thousands if not 10's of thousands of helicopters to customers all over the world.

UK is a desirable market with many civilian contractors and even the government using Russian supplied helicopters.

Now we are borrowing Russian helicopters to fight the Taliban

Regardless, it is most likely a Puma in the photograph.

Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma 98% certainty.

100% definitely a Puma. Not anything else. The photo from the other post shows it clearer. The Puma is used by the RAF for battlefield transport of troops, supplies etc. And I am 100% certain of this identification.
