You guys need to stop smoking that dodgy stuff that you get from back street vendors. Comet Elenin does not cause earthquakes. It is a normal comet
(no more than 4kms in diameter), moving on a normal, highly elliptical solar orbit. It is not a brown dwarf. It is not a star. It is a comet. Closest
approach to Earth (as you can see from the JPL website) will be 0.2338 AU on 2011 October 16.
By the way, a brown dwarf at Elenin's distance from the Sun would be a SUPER bright object, and its gravity would cause utter chaos in the inner
solar system. Elenin is doing nothing of the sort.
