ATS is what YOU, the membership do.

If you want it to be shallow, mean or fluffy, then post shallow mean or fluffy.

If you don't want that, then don't reply to shallow, mean or fluffy. Don't star it, flag it or even post in it.

Want good topics discussed in depth and in a civil manner (?) then contribute in threads that do just that. Star and flag the living snot out of them.

I agree. It seemed to start going down hill the same time the Japanese disasters occured. It could be because we got very little information out of Japan about what was really going on at their reactors, so conjecture was rampant even at the MSM's.

Really? How odd that I have not seen you participating in this thread and providing factual details in order to deny ignorance

I suggest you deny your ignorance and check it out... we have hourly updates from several people, including Redneck who WORKS at a nuke plant

That's when the bashing begins, They try and try to make you look stupid for not thinking along their lines.

Which is why I said "persevere".

Sure, it's not easy, but unless you keep trying how can you expect to be pert of Denying Ignorance?

Let's be frank and honest.

ATS is and had never been intended to be an MSM site. It is a conspiracy site, that gives the fullest freedom to anyone around the world to publish their beliefs or rational, with or without evidence, regardless of how much accolades or brickbats are heaped upon this site.

For we all had long known, evidences are not easy to obtain in the presence of the powerful TPTB that had subverted the aims of journalism integrity. We must give authors the time to get evidences or present their logic and reason for their posts, rather than to be puritannical and deemed their works as 'hoaxes' and DEMAND moderators move it to that section or be removed seconds upon being posted.

Such puritannical behaviours will only prevent others whom may have relevant theories or even real events to post, but hesitated to do so out of FEAR. And fear is the last thing ATS wants for all members, as it will only inhibit growth.

For those puritannicals who want INSTANT evidence, go to the msm for their deluded lies and leave ATS alone so that discussion and debates can occur for the truth to be revealed finally. The truth will always prevail, and lack of evidence is not evidence of absence.

ATS leaves no stone unstone, is look at every conceivable angle which is the only way to totally deny ignorance, and is that which made it great over the years

This should show up on the top of everyone's myATS page.

We are here to find the evidence and examine what we know as a collaborative effort. If you have all the evidence you may as well just write a book. If you want to be part of a collaborative team come here...

I think one person's ignorance is often another person's brilliance when it comes to many people.

In all fairness though, some topics like the Nuclear Disaster in Japan don't allow for much detailed and specific intormation as the Japanese Government seems to be doing it's level best to control perception through a very limited release of intormation.

When there are no independent sources it gets hard to do anything but offer an opinion when the specifics in the information are so limited.

New members don't always take the time to read the Terms of Service but when it comes to left/right political divide issues, moral issues, and religious issues, even well seasoned members can become beligerent and overly opinionated at times.

Denying ignorance is an ongoing challenge, and always has been for human kind.

Some days are better than others.
