If you think ANY MSM news source is accurate, I present a few of the variations to spell Libyan leader's name:

MSNBC:

CNN:

FOX:

They can't ALL be right. This may seem trivial but I'm ony striving to make a small point.

Does ANYONE know the true spelling of Libyan leader?

Trust Wiki?

According to a Libyan News site it is Muammar Qaddafi,
(Wed March 23 story)

Ha Ha if so Fox News wins and I am admittedly a highly vocal critic.

There can be no "correct" spelling of his name. What you get is a "form" of his name in Arabic rendered phonetically into "English" characters. Same thing with Mao Tse Tung from the Cantonese characters.

Thanks. Wow do I feel silly but I'll let my post stand for my many detractors. That makes perfect sense. (I'm a stupid American elitist.) THANK YOU for that!

Oh well, I've already learned something new today and I'm still on my first cup of coffee.
