Democracy protests bring down Egypt's Mubarak

This is a slight of hand.

Mubarek handed over power to the military of which he is. Egypt has been under a state of emergency (military control) for the past 34 years (since 1967).

Mubarak, Suleiman and Prime Minister Ahmad Shafiq are all former military men.

So pessimistic. These people aren't going backwards, only forwards.

Well, there is no "democracy" yet. Actually, if you want to be technical, anarchy brought down
Mubarek, now we just have to see what kind of order will be created out of the chaos, if any.
