The Illinois Supreme Court ruled today that Rahm Emanuel can stay on the ballot for mayor of Chicago, saying in a unanimous decision that he meets the state's residency requirements despite spending most of the last year as White House chief of staff.

It's always nice to see corruption at its finest. I never doubted for a second that Rahm would be on the ballot.

This guy is worse than anything I've scraped off my shoe after walking through a cow pasture but apparently those living in IL think he's the sh**. They're right about that..he most certainly is.

I'm not surprised a bit. I live in Southern IL and if it has to do with Chicago and politics, you can bet it's corrupt. I think it must be a prerequisite to be crooked if you want to be in politics here. All the money and benefits go to the Chicago area and I'm not even sure that they know the southern part of the state exists. We thought Ryan was bad as our governor, but Blago made a laughing stock out of the whole state. Sure, just send Rham on over, I'm sure being mayor of Chicago is right up his corrupt alley.
