The United States is assembling a vast domestic intelligence apparatus to collect information about Americans, using the FBI, local police, state homeland security offices and military criminal investigators.
The system, by far the largest and most technologically sophisticated in the nation's history, collects, stores and analyzes information about thousands of U.S. citizens and residents, many of whom have not been accused of any wrongdoing.
The government's goal is to have every state and local law enforcement agency in the country feed information to Washington to buttress the work of the FBI, which is in charge of terrorism investigations in the United States.

So now fear of our own government rather than the people who are intent on killing us is the America of today.
Hitler and Stalin would die of envy. The Constitution no longer exists except as a quaint piece of paper.

You cannot find out what information the Government has on you, why it has it, how it got there and how to do anything about it.
Post 911 has created an environment in our country where THE PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE NO LONGER EXISTS!

I hate to be that guy but this system is called Facebook and it already has this info.

By the time the news reports on it, it has roots and can't be killed.

The news is just to socialize the idea and get people to slowly accept the topic.

Peace

Nice find

Yes, it's being built at Camp Williams, a Nat'l Guard base in Utah. They're also building a massive data center in San Antonio Tx.

Part of it is diversity, don't have most major NSA assets in one place i.e. Fort Meade MD. It's one of the first things then NSA director Gen. Michael Hayden thought about after 9/11. Plus with facilities spread out in different areas around the country it makes it easier to carry out any eavesdropping. missions.
