The Secret to Living Long

Super centerian, Walter bruening, on his 114th birthday. Still alive today. I thought it was beautiful. G-d has been very good to this man. He is 114, and he seems as mentally alert as he was when he was yonger. He still has a zest for life; and thats the key.

I posted it here because frankly being 114, and being as alert as he is, is supernatural.

Most definitely amazing, good post. Being alive 114 years!! He must have a few good stories lol

What an amazing guy.

I’d love to have chats with someone of his age. The things they must have seen in their lives and the changes and developments in technologies they've experienced would be very humbling.

He was 44 years old (ish) when these colour pictures were taken in the USA.

44 years old! I'm only 37, I can only imagine if i make it to his age what the world will be like in 2087.

I would love to live that long. Maybe its something in his genetics. Good for him ")

Its G-ds will.

You can say genetics or whatever else you want. Sometimes with identical twins - who have practically the same genes - one lives much longer than the other.

I know old people who go senile in their late 60's early 70's. Hes 114 years old, and still has his mind! and his memories. He is still 100% ALIVE.

Yeah, i'd seen them a few days ago and was amazed at how clear the photographs are.

It's funny, you see pictures that are i black and white and they seem like far gone history. Yet to see them in colour, you can almost imagine you are there.

Thats what i meant.

I feel like i can understand it better now that its in color.

But at the same time, when i look at their faces, i see how different and pampered we are. Theres a humanity in them, and a tiredness, that we completely lack. Weve become phony, and fake, and pretentious.
