Paypal, Visa, Mastercard. Funding Illegal Israeli Settlements? Priceless!

Visa, Mastercard and PayPal all enable donations to be made to US-registered groups funding illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank in defiance of international law.

It appears at least one of the major credit cards also enables donations to an extremist Jewish group that has placed a bounty on the lives of Palestinians.

All three have in the last week ceased enabling donations to WikiLeaks. Neither Mastercard nor Visa have explained the basis for their decision to do so. PayPal has backed away from its initial claim that the US State Department told PayPal WikiLeaks had broken the law after the claim was discredited. This is the third occasion on which PayPal has suspended payment services for WikiLeaks.

Israel subsidises over 100 settlements in the West Bank in defiance of international law. Another 100+ are “illegal outposts” even under Israeli law. All benefit from extensive support from the United States, channelled through a range of Jewish and right-wing Christian bodies, all of which have charitable status under US law. The International Crisis Group’s report on settlements in July 2009 identified the important role played by US charities. Israeli newspaper Haaretz has investigated the strong support provided via US charities, and Israeli peace groups have also targeted the generous support provided via private donations from the US and Canada.

Excellent article wcitizen. Everybody needs to have their eyes open to corporations breaking the law. These corporations need to be brought to justice, and end their giving to organizations such as those exposed.

No one will do anything. It is astounding how powerful Israel is. For a tiny nation, it seems to be the most powerful, if not most manipulative, nation on earth. It has parts of the Western world AND Arab world (Saudi Arabia) in its pocket.

Makes me even happier that have never used or had a credit card and never will have.. and that never used or will use paypal. Always stuck to cash or trade.. Disgusting that on top of being bloodsucking extortionists credit card companies and paypal support israeli genocide and crimes against humanity.. Hope people stop using them and tell them to go to hell..

its strange that this group of people get to do what they like and people are scared to do anything because of the hollorcaust(not sure of exact spelling), but then why cant the japanese or africans do what they want, surely both these races suffered in greater numbers.

The Japanese and Africans do not own the entertainment and news industries in America.

Some Jewish people have used their power and money to run the mass propaganda machines.

Why are there still holocaust movies being made?

Why is Schindler's List, with executions and nudity, shown to grade school and middle school kids?

Now the next lie they are trying to perpetuate is too, global warming with the inconvenient truth being shown in schools.

Why exactly is Israel so powerful and influential? I don't understand... what do they give back?

I'd refer to Jeanius's post above. Among other industries, 'jewellry' being one example, they run the media and entertainment biz. Hollywood, in very subtle ways, has been extremely anti-christian for decades (not that I'm a christian - so it's not a personal thing).

So how did they come to run the media and movie industry? Because they were banned from owning almost every other kind of business in existence. (Even in America). When films, and recorded music began tho' there were no laws restricting Jewish ownership and they entered the industry in droves. Technology, as ever, was ahead of the law. In a way it's our predecessors' bigotry that has come back to bite us on the bum.

My opinion is ( even though I certainly do not support Israel ) that credit card companies should not get involved in policing politics or morals.

WikiLeaks should be able to get donations, and so should the settlements.

i watched schindlers list at school and i live in england, i remember we had to get parents permission and some kids werent allowed. tbh it isnt one of my favourite WW2 films, i am more of a dirty dozen man myself.

also they can stop global warming anyway just by pumping sulpher dioxide into the atmosphere but i doubt there will be much need for that when half the world freezes over.

In regards to credit cards....they also accept payments from Porn sites including Gambling and other evil sites that are of more harm to our families than Wikileaks by a LONG shot.

They will just up the figure again. 4 million, 4.5 million, 5 million, 5.5 million. I think it's 6 million now. They've got it on permanent lockdown.

I mostly agree but WikiLeaks hasn't been shown to be breaking any laws, local or international..
But Israel has....It's a big difference...

The sad reality is that laws are being bent, and created specifically to silence one organisation.
The US gov is the most vindictive organisation on earth.
The face that they wish to persecute for the cablegate, isnt even the publisher of the materials!
I dont see charges being written up for the news outlets vetting organising and publishing the information.
The selectivity of such official revenge is indicative of the flaws in the system, and the vehemence of the hate they have for Assange.
Its as if the elite are saying How Dare Anyone stand up to us?
We need to make an exaample out of this guy before all kinds of other people do the same......
