Gunman Opens Fire During School Board Meeting

PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- A gunman opened fire during a Florida Panhandle school board meeting, but it wasn't immediately known if there were fatalities or injuries.
According to a WMBB reporter at Tuesday's meeting, the man came up to the podium at the Bay District School Board meeting and said that he had a motion. He then pulled out a can of red spray paint and painted a "V" with a circle around it.
Reporter Nadeen Yanes told her station that he then pulled a handgun and started talking.

Fox is reporting the gun man has been shot by police

Lets hope these people are ok.

If one of these board members had a gun on them

it would of been game over for this guy.

Thank God for Americans right to carry guns.

We should learn to use it more often to stop things like this from happening.

What does this have to do with gun rights if the police are the ones that shot him?
If anything it's something against gun rights.

It is being reported the man started talking about his wife being fired from her job.

He pulled a gun then a women hit him with her purse he pushed her to the ground, and began to fire randomly...

Ummm, in my opinion.

Having the majority of Americans walking around with a gun on their person in todays fear plagued society, isn't necessarily a good thing.

I can just picture it now.

"Excuse me Sir have you got the time?"

*guy reaches into his pocket to pull out his cell phone*

*BANG!!*

Right. Murderous criminals and desperate men always respect the laws, that is why we need gun laws.
Yet more proof that gun control is stupid. I hope no one was injured or killed, but imagine if all the law-abiding citizens sat in there unarmed while this guy brought in the one deadly weapon! Massacre! Now, imagine if everyone in the room were armed. One crazy guy, maybe one tragic shot, then one dead crazy guy, problem solved.

The answer is MORE guns, never LESS.

This is 100 miles from me! I have friends in PC, but their kids aren't in school yet. I'll post any info that comes on our local news.

Yah as soon as this nut pulled out the spray paint and gun the gentlemen next to him or lady (a lady did hit him with a purse) could of pulled out their pistol and took him out quick threat annihilated instantly.

The man apparently had a facebook page as well, created on December 8.
