What are you talking about? You said that Communists want to disregard the Constitution. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion, which the OP wants to abolish, Ergo, according to you, he is a communist. I don't agree with this interpretation, I simply think he is misguided.

I have no doubt that some Christians are persecuted in IRan. You claimed, however, that Judaism and Christianity are outlawed in Muslim countries. This is a lie.

Some Muslim countries do not provide complete freedom for Christians and Jews, just as some so-called Christian countries want to eradicate Islam and deport Muslims.

Yes in even the most of the Islamic countries, there are churches and synagogues. However, as many who are not Muslim, or a follower of Islam, will tell you, from those countries, that they have to keep a very low profile as to what all they are doing and who they associate with. When ever one of the other Judaic nations, either Israel or a nation associated with Christianity irritates the general population or the government of that nation, the government and the general population comes down hard on said members of those religions. Even though they may believe in something other than what the general population believes, they can not proclaim it, nor show signs of their faith for fear of retribution. In many of those countries, those who are not Muslim, are often treated as a second class citizen, having a glass ceiling, that they are not able to break through. Though the dangers are great, they still support their home and their country, as would be expected.
There are doors in the law, that should never be opened at any time, as it would give the government an excuse to continue to widen it. Right now the new boogey man of the age are Muslims, the public sees and fears such, with good cause, however, if you go back in history, there has always been a boogey man of some kind in the country. Back in the past, the most notable would have been if a person was a member of the Communist party, during the McCarthy era and the witch hunts that followed. Most of the extremist are trying to strike terror into the general population of the world, the rather unfortunate thing is that they have and are starting to also drive a wedge between people of different beliefs for no other reason, than the justification of their religious beliefs, and the interpretation of an old book, that some consider holy. This too is something that tends to be a flaw, where one person gives an opinion, and the rest merely accept what is stated, than giving it thought and using common sense to determine if it is fair to all around.
The Muslim world will never be at peace, either with each other, or its neighbors of a differing beliefs as they are way too set in their ways to see that just may, the way to peace is not to engage in just blind devotion. Make no mistake there is a fine line between faith and fanaticism. Having faith is a good thing, but when it turns to rabid fanaticism, then it leads to the oppression and violence we all see.

Are you hoping Obama will nominate you to the Supreme Court?

Okay, here's one Constitutional topic you can grapple with while practicing what you will say to the liberal sentate who won't ask you any questions that will make you think: How Constitutional is a religion that incites suicide bombers to kill people of other religions?

Get back with us on your Constitutional interpretation, will ya? I just be you will. And I bet I can predict what you will say. Liberals are very predictable that way.

I'm not surprised.

Those people in that part of the world are crazy.

This is still, not the topic.

I don't care whether there are churches and synagogues in those countries where Islam is used to opress the people. That's not my problem. Do you know why? Because my country is greater than those countries, because we have freedom that they never will have until they change. And the OP wants to take our freedom away because it is deemed a threat.

I'm sure almost everyone on this thread seems to have forgotten what you 'locals' (what ever region you may come from) were complaining about before you ever heard of Islam. Ask yourself the first question....once Islam has been eradicated will there be peace and love in your communities? The answer is no!
You are being brainwashed at pointing the finger at a religious group instead of your governments. Does nobody else see who the real enemy is? The people that make the rules and take your freedom away with every bill they pass? Yet you still point fingers at people who just demand the right to practice their belief.
It's a real shame a religion can be blamed for the actions of a few individuals. Do we look at your presidents and shout you Americans etc are all murderers? each and every single American regardless of their age, race, gender? Do we shout out saying war is in every single Americans heart, That they have a thirst for blood?....I guess not.
Now many of you at this point are probably cursing at my post and planning to counter with insults....this will do no good. Before you open up your mouth do us all a favor and read, read, read......
Your governments are the problem, not religions!

You do not even want me to get started on how many people Christians have killed for refusing to convert. Are you forgetting the crusades?

What makes you think there is any difference in the western world? They are called extremists and terrorists.

Decapitation in Islamic Theology
Groups such as Abu Mus'ab al-Zarqawi's Al-Tawhid wa al-Jihad (Unity and Jihad) and Abu 'Abd Allah al-Hasan bin Mahmud's Ansar al-Sunna (Defenders of [Prophetic] Tradition)[10] justify the decapitation of prisoners with Qur'anic scripture. Sura (chapter) 47 contains the ayah (verse): "When you encounter the unbelievers on the battlefield, strike off their heads until you have crushed them completely; then bind the prisoners tightly."[11] The Qur'anic Arabic terms are generally straightforward: kafaru means "those who blaspheme/are irreligious," although Darb ar-riqab is less clear. Darb can mean "striking or hitting" while ar-riqab translates to "necks, slaves, persons." With little variation, scholars have translated the verse as, "When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks."[12]

List of Wars involving the U.S

Should i blame this on all Christians then? And i suppose the Quran was written recently aswell? After the U.S became a "country"?

Read the whole book before you post ignorant comments that you copied and pasted from other websites. Information I'm sure you already agree on blindly.

Actually, the Quaran was finalized circa in 632. The Protestan Reformation began in 1517. The Constitution of the United States was signed in 1776.

I've also read Salman Rushdie's 'Satanic Verses.' While Rushdie had to go into hiding because a fatwa was issued against his life. Ah, so much for freedom of speech far as the Ayatollahs were concerned.

Ayatollah revives the death fatwa on Salman Rushdie
By Philip Webster, Ben Hoyle and Ramita Navai
A FATWA against the author Salman Rushdie was reaffirmed by Iran’s spiritual leader last night in a message to Muslim pilgrims.

After all the evidence for banning this religion in the US, there are still adamant apologists.
I have to wonder why.

Here is another for you, and it is posted here on ATS>

In Pakistan, Christianity Earns a Death Sentence

A Christian lady there defended her religion and is accused of insulting Islam and its prophet.
THey gave her the death sentence.
How do you like that?
Do you want that here?
As they breed like flies, they will soon outnumber us.
Maybe you better have some second thoughts before you continue defending them.

Ah, well. Something posted by someone on ATS. Frankly, I'm a bit dudious. But I'll take your word for it and give it a read.

Okay, I read it. And found it humorous. Someone dying of thirst in the desert won't take water that is unclean because it has been touched by a Christian. Ah, well. Dying of thirst and dehydration is a terrible way to go. If you try to help someone and they rebuff and insult you........that's their pain riding a Red Horse their way. I can't feel guilty about those who choose that alternative.

The comment about breeding like flies....well, there's all kinds of elements out there breeding like flies. My advice to Patriots is to stock up on flyswatters. Plenty of them. Start now if you haven't already stocked up on flyswatters.

But, yes. It's not enough in Islam to insult someone who is trying to save their lives. They must kill that someone who tries to save their lives.

Kind of like that story about the scorpion and the turtle.

once again this has descended to what is written in the bible versus what is written in koran

I dont give a rats behind what the bible says because only about 8% of people in so called christian countries actually go to the church and practice a religion

having a christmas celebration is NOT christian as it is a pagan festival anyway and we are all in it for the commercialism and the drinking etc and the christian aspect of christmas is not a concern at all and easter is no better - its all about gorging on easter eggs and very few of us bother going to church beyond the parties and celebrations

I think Islam should be against the law because it denies equality for women, and it condones things such as poligamy and child brides and stoning and giving of so many lashes and eye for an eye legal system and the honour killings and female circumcision [yes I know some of these thigns are culture and tradition and not decreed in koran]

now all you who are defending islam please address as opposed to the way we actually live in our countries - secular

dont bring up what is written in the bible because we dont live accordign to what is in the bible - we dont follow bible laws

that is why for a muslim to come and live in a country such as mine, that muslim cannot do accordign to what is written in the koran because some of these things are illegal in my country so that muslim had better not come here to live in my country and then demand that the laws be changed to suit the way they live in their countries

As per the 2000 census, over 76 percent of the American population declared themselves as practicing Christians.

Atheists were at 0.4 percent.

yes ppl declare on a census or other documents what religion they were baptised in for example but they likely never read the bible and have not been to chicrch for a decade or two if not longer

only about 8% of the population actually go to church as opposed to just filling it out on a census form or some other documentation

I could say on a census that I am catholic but I have not been to a church fro decades

I dont know any ppl who go to chirch at all and yet they too fill in a religion on their documents

Yes. That's the neighborhood you live in. Was born in. Grew up in. There's a very big world outside your natal neighborhood. It's obvious you don't know any people in your neighborhood who go to church. They burnt down the last church in your neighborhood before you were born. I'd move if I were you.
