Islam Should Be Against The Law

With you same line of thinking all religions should be banned from the U.S.A, I AM a believer in the U.S. constitution and it states that the U.S.A should have religous tolerance. I agree with it!

first i would like to say to the OP ,that your opnion on this issue is normal for people who dont understand the religion , i to used to be anti Islam untill i decided to stop being like the rest of this world and shut out somthing that i knew nothing about but toook the words of others and ran with with it , kind of lame dont you think ? .. so here is the deal ..i have been christian i have been Mormon i have studied all religion and i still practice this study now ! for i am on a quest to find my true make ..and in order for me to find him i have to study the words of people who say they have met him ... now i will tell you that Islam still fallows the old laws ,this is true but let me tell you that in thees laws people are happy i cant explain to you how other then by fallowing the teachings of the Koran some how makes theese people closer to their maker ..and let me tell you out of all things religion they have to most dedication to our creator .... and i can think back to the day i first had anger in my heart for theese people ,their music sounded so evil to me ...now it fills my ears with love and understanding cause i understand their religion ..and its stimple the most simple religion the most simple words ..that their is no other god but god .. and you dont have to pray to another to get to god ..you have a direct relationship with god ..now even when i heard theese words i still did not understand them ..but now i do ..it takes time .. i am not Muslim ..and ill tell you why ..because i feel their is still an answer out their for me ..but i will tell you my good man that theese people are not animals they dont just kill innocent people ... they believe that anyone who attacks them or their religion that they have the right to attack back ..and i can asure you that they are attacking more so because we invaded them and they are protecting their home but they use the religion for courage and a crutch ,makes sens to me .....for now i must go ,but ill be back to write more ,thank you for your time and understanding

The series of verses you quoted are out of context.


At the time of Muhammad he was attacked violently by groups of Jews and Christians along with the “Pagans” at that time.

Such verses are related to that conflict in real time.

They are not religious edicts on how to view Jews and Christians.

Here are verses where the book expresses the unity of faith and speaks good of other faiths

"Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians -- whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor shall they grieve" (2:62, 5:69, and many other verses).
"...and nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those who say, 'We are Christians,' because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant" (5:82).

Likewise you are permitted to marry chaste believing women [Muslims] or chaste women among the people who were given the Scripture [Jews and Christians] . . . . (Maududi, vol. 1, p. 427)

What were you saying about the Jews and Christians being friends of Islam according to the koran?

Using your logic, Christianity and Judaism should be outlawed as well. The bible tells them to kill people of other faiths:

“He who sacrifices to any god, other than to the LORD alone, shall be utterly destroyed." - Exodus 22:19

"All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman." - 2 Chronicles 15:13

I'm not forgetting anything. Fact is Christmas is a National Tradition outside of religion. Celebration of the Winter Soltice has been going on for thousands of years. I'm Atheist...I love Christmas, and the decorations, even some of the music. I don't think that it is "throwing god in your face". I grew up thinking of Christmas as Santa Claus day.
So do you think we should give it all up because you don't like it?

Too many people here seem to be very blind to the insidiousness of the creeping of Islam into our midst.

Christianity should be outlawed in civil society. It should not be hidden under the protective umbrella of religion. It is a radical cult that calls for the deaths of anyone that doesn't believe in their Christ, a man who was a crazy radical thug, that wrote a book on how he wanted his followers to act.

Christianity's goal is to be the One World Religion and to slowly introduce Biblical Law into every country around the world. It is already happening in Africa, and they are working on the Middle East.

People who practice Christianity are called Christians. Christians are all radical people, whether you want to admit it or not. And yes, all Christians are radical if they practice Christianity. The Bible tells them to lie and make the unbeliever think they are your friend and that they are a peaceful people while behind your back they plan your death. I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but I don't care. If I cared, I wouldn't be writing this thread.

The USA is in a war against Muslims right now, although I don't agree with said war. Christians should be deported or put in camps like the [Japanese] were back during WW2. I believe they are inside the country planning for their Holy War against America and when the word is given, we will see numerous attacks all at once in several different cities across the nation.

Islam will never be understood as long as radical Muslims kill , maim and behead people everyday in the name of it. All the death and destruction that comes from these Muslims killing in the name of Islam is why people don't like Islam.

The line of thinking that you have presented in this thread, has been the foundation of ethnic massacres all over the world, past and current. And I hope that you might recognize that while the government has infringed on many rights, to ask the government to deport, and put muslims in internment camps because of your mis-conception of our state of affairs is dangerous. There is despite reports presented on Fox News great turmoil against the Islamic Community. They are a protected religious group under the First Amendment.Just because you say that "they aren't a religious group" Does not mean that they are. But tragic attacks such as 9/11 have caused very primitive thoughts and a mis-understanding over. If we were to further the turmoil against them, it would be no different than many of the events that lead to the systematic killings of jews and many other groups of society in Germany.. And with my psychological background, I believe it is no stretch to believe that this could easily happen in this country 5 or 10 years from now if things in our country continued to deteriorate.

I think Christianity should be banned. Think about it, the Crusades, all the witch burning, the internment of Germans and Japanese in WW2, the unabomber, all the murders done at late term abortion clinics, the bombings, oh, and how about the murders of homosexuals based on sexual orientation in places like Uganda?

Gotta love how every religion thinks they are somehow better than the other---when the biggest thing they have in common is MURDER.

I can never comprehend why 500,000 white people # their pants about living in a state with like 2,000 Muslims. Nothing like a little racism to get you up in the morning.
