Eerie Image Captured in Woods by Deer-Stand Camera

BERWICK, Louisiana (WVLA) - A deer hunter captures a spooky image wandering through the Louisiana woods at night.

A hunter near Baton Rouge says he found this freaky photo on his deer stand camera.

The hunting camera was broken but the memory card was still there and so was this bizarre image.

It looks like a cross between a human and an animal, with long slender appendages and glowing eyes.

The hunter says he just hopes it's a vegetarian, if he runs into it in the woods again.

This is seriously odd! I have NO idea what it could be. The closest thing it resembles is a zombie, but that's just because I've seen stereotypical zombie movies.

Any thoughts?

is that the whole image? or did someone crop it? I have to say I've seen an image like this before.. somewhere around the interwebs, so I'm thinking its fake.. but I dont know.. definately seems eerie... these game cameras like to capture wierd images lately.

Im pretty sure thats exactly the same image, and the one from the OP is a duplication of this image, which is why its so cropped and the lighting changed a bit.

Feels like a hoax.

There is a date labeled on the picture "11/30/2010" beyond the link you posted. However, I recall seeing that same picture about a year ago...

Maybe someone is just pranking.

That's what I said in another thread.
And that video was part of the Diesel Fallen Angel viral campaign in 2006.
I'm sure this picture is older than is being claimed, and it's had it's time stamp changed.
Maybe this was part of the same campaign.

I want to go on record as saying...
I really hope that it's a fake because,
Camping out would be a hole new ball game !

I would say that this is the same figure as the one in the picture . If it is a hoax or not , that I do not know . Anybody know if that video was proven to be a hoax?

Why do you say that? I can think of a hell of a lot worse things to see in the woods than that. He's not even armed... hell, he's not even clothed for that matter! He actually looks kinda scared... assuming it's a he. It looks like a drawing to me.

You make it sound like you just saw your worst nightmare.

think of something oozing with pus with a thousand tentacles with lasers on the end of each flailing and flying about maniacally in every direction... and it flies...[SNIP] Yeah, think of THAT.

Could it possibly be a Bat?

Maybe a Bat flew up to the camera, and the picture was taken when the Bats wings were on their inward motion.

Sure looks creepy though. I would not have wanted to be the one checking the camera and finding this!

That video was pretty trippy...looks like a person with very thin arms... but why was he not looking at the light as they were first shining it? It was as if he was purposefully avoiding it while still in plain view. of course it had to be staged. I like their reactions though, even though I can't understand them.

Thank You for clearing it up , (no idea how i missed Your other post ) . Well I would say that this kicks the picture pretty close towards the hoax bin for me , but still on the fence because ..heck I would love it to be real
