OMG
Wikileaks is censoring me ,instead of 500 000 cables they release 250 000 ,OMG this is outrageous !!!!

I am impeding nothing, all I do is question things that should come natural to most people who aren't led around like sheep. And I will have to look for the article as I failed and didn't have it handy, that wikileaks is censoring what they release, and by controlling the releases they are manipulating how things happen, aka the whole insurance file. While I don't support crazy terrorists that blow themselves up for whatever reason they at least act and release the info and obviously are committed to their cause 100%, to which all I am saying with the whole insurance file Assange isn't and that should be questioned. Because someone hell bent on changing the world should care less what happens to them because it's the information that counts. Unless there is an ulterior motive at hand.

joking ofcourse

Wikileaks in two years released news like all the big Main Stream Mediums in last 10 years combined
Shame on you for attacking Wikileaks with such a weak argument .
again my signature for you :

History is being made and unfolding as we speak ... those on the wrong side of it by obstructing and impeding the truth from emerging are noted and shall be remembered.

3 ways that might happen in my opinion.

1) Anon gets enough people
2) The real bot nets get involved
3) People in anon are the owners of the bot nets, I see this as unlikely as they would already be getting used.

We are at a historic crossroads here...
2 choices
1)We go all in, the public in backing the rebels who are fighting for our freedom
or
2)Do nothing, if this choice is used TPTB will enact tough new laws rhat will censor free speeech on the internet forever, its to late in the game to do nothing and not get censored.

I will choose course 1 and hope to take down TPTB or go down fighting.
Good Luck in our quest!!

Well anon could be extremely effective at causing a turn around in this whole case if they could stick to doing things that can't come back to bite them so to speak. If they actually fought fire with fire I would support them 110% because of what could be done, and how things could be changed. I just don't see the attacks they have done thus far as anything more than a glorified pissing war, which achieves nothing.

Ok focus man focus on the insurance file and question it. Really question it, because through t history anyone committed to their cause isn't concerned between life/death- freedom/jail they do what they do because they feel in their core beliefs that it is the right thing to do, even the people who were wrong felt that way, all I am doing is asking people to slow down and think of it that way for a moment.

Not going to happen.

The Internet was designed to be indestructible in a state of war. It is designed to operate without a central system. One nation may be "restricted" by a government (China, Australia and soon to be the USSA), but this will soon be overcome. You cannot have communications either by cell or land without the possibility for internet usage.

Governments will try to control access and information, but there are simply not enough systems to be able to do it.

PayPal, Mastercard and Visa should really consider who's side they are on and make a choice. I think they are seriously underestimating anon. They don't understand the very nature of what they are dealing with, and it might look like the government is all powerful, but in the face of a ten-thousand strong invisible enemy they are pretty powerless.

O.K, seriously are you willing to give up everything you are accustomed to and I mean all the luxuries in life you have now? Because that is where this will lead to as TPTB control everything so to asume they will be so willing to just hand it over without mass bloodshed your are in a state of denile? And I am sorry to be a downer but I really don't think the rest of the world will be willing to. Good luck to your cause though and I really hope you succeed and in the end I will have to give you a big I owe you. Perhaps then you can be the master and me the slave under a different ruler?

Yes i am willing to give it all up, Once you have had it all $$$ and everything, you will know it's not what its cracked up to be, kind of like playing a video game it doesn't make you feel any better like MSM make you think.
I'm all in and the army is growing daily, our government and others have been commiting atrocites in the name of the War on ______________ you feel in the blank, it is always changing, to further our govts. ambitions, I have seen the light, the US has lost most of its freedoms because of the so called Wars on _________. Dem or Repub doesn't matter they both answer to the same people. The govt divides us and conquers us because of labels, we the people must unite as one, to change this, it's our only hope.

If he proves my doubts wrong I will be the first to admit being wrong I have no problem with that. But as of right now I am being a sane man and questioning with boldness, to which there is nothing wrong with doing so. And yes I unlike most in this world still believe in my country and the people that inhabit it. I will not sit quiet when people try to put The United States Of America down, yes the politics suck, yes the leadership suck, and yes some of the people that live here hate it. But even to those I can proudly say I am a patriot as I would gladly give my life to save their freedom to hate it. While as of right now I can't say such for your hero Assange.

O.K. you seem firm in your beliefs that is an honorable thing, and congrats to achieving wealth that most of us can only dream of. I applaud you, now just take that knowledge and use it for the better and always question others motives. Thanks you really seem genuine.

I agree I too have not quite made up my mind on Assange, still need more info. The key will be in how we collectively react to something he may release that may be nuclear in proportions. I say we take alot of time and careful thought before we react to anything overtly. We are yet unsure imo of motive here on wikis part. I also think if he was a true patriot of truth and he had such nuclear material as he claims he should have already released it,why wait?

I'm simply following along fascinated by the whole game.

My problem lies with the .gov acting draconian in its apparent oppresion of the 1st amendment. Wiki didnt steal the documents and Assange is no citizen so imo the US has no juristiction here. They also are not pursuing the NYT who also published the files and I hate a hypocrit. IMO wikileaks is the peoples patriot act, good for the goose good for the gander.

Indestructible the net may well be, but thats beside the point really IMO.

The key is in public opinion in this matter and absolutely nothing else. Make the internet seem to be the primary haven of porn-surfers and child molesters and it is effectively history in the eyes of the public as a whole. Business and casual users could abandon it as quickly as they did the CB radio in the 1970's when it was trivialiszed in a similar manner.

And one superbowl commercial could manage that.

You can't destroy the net, but it can be ignored and marginalized even moreso than it is already. Remember, on HERE this is a huge buzz, but it's just typical net trending. Offline, this is causing mild curiosity and very, very little chatter in cafes and truck stops and malls and living rooms.

Pretty clear IMO that the last little bit of credibility the net had left will be the ultimate victim of these pranks. Physically as strong as ever, but the quality patrons, and more importantly business's, will up and move along. Technology will just fillt the void with something else---something tamper proof this time.

If we, collectively, come out on the other side of this with the net as it is today, it would truly surprise me.
