There needs to be more mirrors.
If you are so scared of whack-a-mole that you keep the links quiet, there's not that much use in having them.
I understand your point, but the information needs to be propagating as quickly as possible.
I'm worried about him. I don't trust what they might do to him if they capture him.

if there main web servers are under attack from hackers its not good to give them any more targets
i say we hold of from posting anything that "links" to their mirrors
or risk them being attacked too
at the moment the plan b seams to be working

Look, I've been lurking around ATS for quite a while. Ive only recently started posting here..I've been following the wikileaks events and other related topics very closely and doing whatever I can to dig up any information. I've been trying to spread the word and tell as many people as I can, trying to wake people up. I'm not the kind of person who likes to stir the pot, but I thought I might share with you all

A suspicious black van has just pulled up across the street from my home.

I am fking SCARED.

I concur!
ATS is too high profile.
lets let them propagate by less
robust networks.
plan b might have a chance.

but I do see hadraiana's point.
lets just sit tite for a bit. m'k?

we live in a small cauldesac (sp?) out a little ways from the city...we all know each other. NO ONE owns a black van. It is 3 in the morning here...what the???? I am scared because I have always been suspicious about people watching me and spying on where I go on the net and all that kind of thing..but to actually SEE something like that is quite a different story...I have no proof that is what is going on, but I I actually spotted it pulling up and no one has got out of the van. Its just sitting there.

I'm really quite upset and I don't know what to do. Somehow I have to protect what I'm doing on the net..I have no protection at all, it would just be there for anyone to see..what if its one of those body scanner vans??!

Calling the cops would get rid of them yes...they must have a police scanner though, theyd know they were coming.

Screw it, I'm calling the cops right now.

You think your outwitting the hackers then???? That *the hackers* don't have the information for wikileaks to get DOSED again.

Okay.

Deep breath.

I no sooner picked up the phone and dialed that the van pulled away. Its gone..I had to tell him nevermind..but I had to explain because I didn't want them to think I was pranking them.

He told me if I saw it again to call them immidiately.

Out of curiosity I asked him if he thought it would return. I got the answer I was expecting and indeed the reason I asked the question in the first place..he said that it wasnt the first call about a suspiscious black van they have had recently.

I am STUNNED.

I find it hard to believe that this comes as a surprise to anyone. Wikileaks went to war when they release that info and they should expect this kind of thing at minimum. I personally do not blame any government agency from any country that suffered damage from these leaks for doing something about it.
