ATS, and similar forums, are filled with 'christian' personal relationships, witnesses, prophets etc.; this might have lent credibilty to your blind propaganda, if all these individuals (inspired or insane, take your choice) would agree. As it is, their 'testimonies' differ so much, that this alone is enough to cast serious doubt on all the christianities relying on such 'evidence'.

And for sure, the prophecies are 'proved':

Well, it wasn't a fly, but a spot of pigeon metabolistic waste; it wasn't the statue of liberty, but the war-memorial in Bad Ass; it wasn't the nose, but the shoulder, and the great upheaval was a very minor earthquake in Alaska.

But apart from such nitpicking details, this ofcourse proves the bible. As does the regular prophecies about Harmageddon, which have turned up several times every century since day 50 CE. I'm sure we all would have noticed, if the christianities' unerring gift of prophecy would have manifested in Harmageddon.

GBP, if you sometimes got out of the holy bubble you live in, you could find any amounts of books on the "begining of TIME...", as you call it. Most of them more sane than a tale of a 6.000 year old, geocentric universe.

Fantastic read,and very informative.I was raised in the southern baptist church and as soon as I was old enough to decide for myself I refused to go ,never felt comfortable,it never felt right, I didn't know exactly why I knew the christian faith did not suit me,its hard to describe what I felt as a young girl,but I did know deep down in my very being. I remember telling my mother that I can have church anywhere that the church was inside me and how much I did not like the people at church and this was when I was 7or8 years old.I knew it was wrong then and know its wrong now.Can you suggest any books to read to help me research further?

Latin was the language of the ancient Romans, and eventually evolved regionally into Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Romanian (and infected English to a large degree via French after the Norman invasion).

But you see Freedish, this thread is EXACTLY saying the same as you do, except in inverse. So the two options I can see, are that you either can go into an "is", "isn't", "is".....waste of everybody's time, OR you can try to put some meat on the bones of your claim(s).

The biggest misunderstanding among Bible scholars today, is that Moses wrote the book of Genesis. Many assume that the book of Genesis was made up of oral traditions. Just a bunch of stories passed on from one generation to the next, or that Moses borrowed from the pagans, the stories of Noah, and creation, and then wrote his own version in the Hebrew Bible.

After many excavations in the Middle East, archaeologists have found Ancient writings called "cuneiform" writings that date back all the way to 3500 B.C. Adam was still alive at that time, and so writing could have gone back even farther. So Adam could have composed his EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN!

Genesis 5:1 says: "This is the book of the generations of Adam."

Now, Cuneiform writing became the system used by all civilized countries east of the Mediterranean-Assyrian, Babylonia, Persia, and the Hittites. Although papyrus was the common writing material in Egypt. Cuneiform writing was understood, as the Tell-el-Amarna tablets found in Egypt in 1888 reveal.

It is no wonder that God allowed Pharaoh's daughter to raise Moses. He could have easily learned cuneiform writing, so he could easily translate the Hebrew cuneiform tablets of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, and Adam for the Israelites in the wilderness. Even in the book of Acts, in chapter 7 verses 21-22 Stephen says: "And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son...And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds."

I hardly see any of today's governments blame Satan for anything. They just do what they do, and they do it without giving credit to anyone else.

A mass following anyone is the worst idea in any form. You could say well Christianity in a mass has lead us away from our spirituality, I couldn't disagree more.

My whole family is comprised of Christians, I became an Atheist than turned Agnostic than Christian. I talk to my mom about the old testament and she disagrees with creation story and she doesn't conform to what others say. She takes the good teachings and applies them to real life.

The Bible has been tampered with and even though I disagree with ideas in there I don't see why we can't take the good teachings. Jesus took all the commandments and summed up the two most important ones:

1)Love God with all your heart
2)Love your neighbor.

Everything else is important but we are humans. We have a tendency to do human things and sin. God knows that and he understands. We weren't made perfect but we build ourselves and our character through our imperfections.

Satanism/Luciferiansim is the religion and/or idiology of most within the NWO. Most of the Christian extremists that make Christianty look bad like Hagee and his ilk also have NWO connections so should not be taken as examples of how Christianty is supposed to be.

Love is what it's all about....Without the true love in our hearts we will fall. I made an interesting observation the other day on a meta scientific post....The conversion of Carbon 12 to Carbon 7....I think our brains transform when we learn the secret of Love, and we become more enlightened, which in turn makes us make more Carbon 7 which in turn makes us even more enlightened...It's a very giving cycle, this love is...
