I have always been on the side of bucking authority on any chance I get. Getting in arguments and just being a black sheep. I remember when I first started out in my first IT job and I had the hackers manifesto on my wall and thought that it was the greatest essay every written. But on the other hand metalholic makes a very good point. If you look at what the skyscraper that he brings up. 1 man cannot build one but 1,000 and look what we can do. So what I am wondering is can there be a balance between a one world government and freedom. I just wonder what could happen if all of the world decided to work on one goal. Without race or religion or control fighting what could we do. I would guess we could do anything. This is very interesting great job on creating a thread that causes people to think.

thank you! yeah when i say one world government i'm not talkin big brother i'm saying one world taking on tasks for humanity not one race one person or one countries thoughts but humanity as a whole!

with that in mind we could do anything i would think we would have this solar system colonised within a century! if all of humanity became one! the skyscraper was the best example i could come up at the time but obviously it worked!

Any one world government ...under a human would be nothing but what we have now. Powerful and power hungry ruling and lording over all.

The ancient world was ruled over by one leader several times, did this change people or rulers and make life great? No. it just made leaders more powerful and rich and the populace have no imput at all.

Personally i don't think things will change until we have all been genetically altered to be better then we are as a species, I don't think we can get there in a natural way we would all be dead first.

Mankind isn't organized. You cannot "keep" 6+ billion people "organized". Mankind (masses) are/is in a state of constant chaos. On some fronts, I think we've done pretty well, considering the possibilities.

actually you could! imagine if our species was threatened with extinction and we knew it was coming say one day we found a asteroid heading toward earth and it was calculated that we had exactly 50 yrs to prepare for it! yes we can reach that far in space and i'm sure there are mathmeticians workin on projections of asteroids ANYWAY

mankind would have no choice but to come together it would either be that or die! there is to much to gain by surviving like for example claiming new territory on another planet or planets moon!

Test or not it is a good way to get ones attention especially when the powers that be like to keep things to themselves. The Roswell crash was well on its way to being known by most the free world at that time before it was debunked and buried and layered with lies and truths. I just think if this was the case and they did put a ufo here they couldn't possible be pleased with the results and maybe that is why we are still sitting in the dark waiting for someone to lead us out of the cave.

Nope sorry I am a cynic, and a realist. Even if my father did not teach me about conspiracy theories as a child, I have enough street smarts to know that you cannot go out in the "real world" and expect other people to always act honestly towards you. This has nothing to do with "illuminati", I for one do not know for certain they are affecting my life directly in any way. What I do know is that you will never be able to get everyone on the same page without acting deceitfully in some way. If a "hitler" has to lie to sell an idea to the world, that should tell you something....

alright what i'm trying to say is this no matter what there is always going to be a bad guy! in the eyes of the "good" the bad guys are bad guys in the eyes of the bad guys the good guys are "bad"

with this being said i'm not saying its ok for hitler to kill off jews or retards and the elderly or other colored people not saying none of that at all..BUT what i'am saying is that someone needs to unite all the countries under one power! b/c our primitive species are not going to unite under will unless we are threatened as a species with extinction!

you dont see carnivores going around killing all the plant eaters...they only kill what they can eat! so to must we learn to live in harmony with eachother aswell as the earth it is the only way we are going to go anywhere!

hitler was ahead of his time b/c he was already into the ancient astronaut theory before history channel the man was scowering the globe for ancient relics and texts it is known fact that german's at the time were not only the best scientists but the best in ancient knowledge and transcirpt!

I think you're defeating the entire premise of coming together as one, with a common goal if you're achieving it through force and violence. Using force to bring people together is a contradiction and will not work. Advancement through joint means can only be achieved through lucid and peaceful means. Violence and force are selfish in nature and are a direct anithesis to the ideas of sharing and togetherness. You cannot force what has to naturally occur. This is a natural law. The steak has to marinate. You cannot force it to taste better.
