Either they are just trying to push their luck and see what they can get away with or more worrying the US just wants to provoke the DPRK so it has an excuse to invade.I dont think its possible to win a war against the DPRK they are considerably more powerful since the last conflict and the DPRK can level seoul in a matter of hours if the order is given so the US is playing a very dangerous game, you can only rattle the bees nest so many times before getting stung.

IMO
there are forces at work at this very moment
to start a confrontation between China and
the US and NK & SK are the proxies for this
confrontation.

Since the US won't fire directly on China
and China won't fire directly on the US
it becomes a stagnant situation.

However, both China and the US can
be drawn into a confrontational war
by inciting conflict with each sides
allies. Which is what is happening here.

As they say, there is more than 1 way to skin
a cat. You just have to know what buttons
to push to get the desired results.

ALL parties in this conflict are being
used like puppets. TPTB are in full
control and are using mass manipulation
in their evil desires.

North Korea attacks South and the US comes to help South Korea by holding milittary games very close to China.

Imagine Colombia attacks Venezuela (they were backed by CIA), and then Russia comes to help and makes milittary games with Venezula in the Gulf of Mexico, to show this to Colombia. Imagine they deploy a fleet of planes and carriers to Cuba, and from there it goes to Colombia. How do you think the US would react?

Or imagine Israel threatens a nuclear attack in Syria. And Russia comes to hold milittary games with Syria close to Israel. How do you think Europeans would react?

Did you remember the Cuban missile crises? It's the same. The US are making war provocations very close to China. This is so arrogant and dangerous.

The recent conflict was caused by SK firing shells into DPRK territory, the DPRK responded by bombing a SK military outpost where the fleet had originated from.

All i saw in the media was anti DPRK propaganda such as "north korea bombs SK killing civilians" "north korea out of control" etc this is the reason i dont trust our goverment or media because they clearly lie and deceit us.

Wait...you refuse to believe the media in the US, but you're willing to believe NK's ridiculous claims? You do realize that other countries condemned NK too, right? The world media treats NK in this fashion for a reason. NK's problem is that is refuses to acknowledge the NLL drawn up by the UN. The rest of the world sees the border as SK sees it, but NK insists that the real border is further south. It would be like Canada or Mexico attacking the US because they felt that their borders extended a further 20 miles into US territory.

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that,no matter what happens the rule of thumb is to blame the DPRK since they dont have a voice other than their own.

And for good reason. Everything they say is ridiculous. Kim Jong-Il's official biography claims that he doesn't defecate or urinate. His official biography also states that he was born on a mountain, that his birth was foretold by a swallow, that he was born under a double rainbow, and that a new star appeared in the sky when at his birth. NK officials say Kim shot a 38 under part and got 11 holes in one during his first ever game of golf. NK still recognizes Kim Il-Sung as the eternal ruler of NK despite him being dead for 16 years. Oh, and the people of NK are told that Kim Il-Sung created the world and that Kim Jong-Il controls the weather.

Everything they say either demonizes the rest of the world or glories their failing country. I think these quotes from their official sites say it all:

"Pyongyang and the today's North Korea is a socialist paradise where all the people have a life with dignity, without poverty and more than ever demonstrate the invincibility and union of the masses around the Leader."

"The founding of the DPRK was an event of historic significance as it ushered in a road of building a socialist state of unique style centered on the masses of the people in Korea. Since its founding, the Korean people have eliminated centuries-old backwardness and poverty and built a powerful socialist state independent, self-sufficient and self-reliant in defense."

"The DPRK is a military power no one dares to provoke. It has the Korean People’s Army displaying its might as an invincible army and established a reliable system of all-people, nationwide defense with the KPA as its core, an integral whole of the army and the people which can never be broken even by means of nukes, and a powerful national defense industry capable of manufacturing any state-of-the-art weaponry as it wishes"

"As it has already held the position of a politico-ideological power and a military giant, the DPRK is now striving for the building of an economic power. Once it hits the goal of an economic power, it can be said to be a great, prosperous and powerful nation both in name and reality."

It's interesting that the language keeps changing.

I think we knew that this was all down to NK and although it seemed quite plausible that NK had gone insane, they are now scaling back their threat.

I think this shows that there will be no conflict there for a while.
NK changed their language. While initially they claimed they would attack against any provocation (they viewed the exercises as a provocation) they've now changed this to threaten attack for any breach of their water.
That's something I am pretty sure neither the US nor SK have in mind.

SK stuck to their guns,
USA stuck to their guns,
NK back-track on their threats

All is normal in the world once again

The US as a nation is not evil and it is as a nation not out for war , some of its leaders are not only because they have evil intentions some of them are pushed by public sector weapon manufacturing companies .

Even said that you have to keep in mind that the US is the only so called supernation with the capabilities of policing the world and stepping in and up when needed and when its neccassery .
Only problem power has a way of corrupting people thats why democracy is there to change the people in power in a given amount of years so people will not become too corrupted .
Thats why in North korea the government is so corrupted because they have no democratic change every 4 or 8 years.

So it might look like the US is stepping in everywhere and is war mongering but that is because the rest of the world including the Nato is not willing too do the things neccassery and always let the US do the things they are affraid to do even do they can.

And when they let the US step in we always are like oh no they are up to it again and we have made rules of engagement by the UN which made it unpossible to act as needed, thats why we haven't stopped the taliban in Afghanistan, because we aren allowed to use napalm in the mountains of afghanistan and pakistan regions to flush them out of hiding and the lake of us of nerve gas or any other platform.

we have to many civilian casualties because of the lack of means of engagement , because we are afraid of use more powerfull ways of getting the enemies we have more casualties under civilians because more enemies life to kill civilians because they suport the US in trying to get the taliban away .

now on the topic of North korea,
Korea has to become one nation with a new nation capital being build in the neutral dmz so the North koreans have work and the south is bringing in the expertise and the technology.
The current leadership of North Korea can be taken away by China and be given leadership roles in China where kim yong il and the older leaders can be send into retirement.
the current leaders of the underground resistance of north korea can take a leading role in rebuilding the north and getting the north and south under one leadership.

its more benifitial for china that koreas become one and powerfull nation so they can trade more and if the koreas are one more of the north koreans become weathier and there for china can sell more goods to the new korea nation.

The problem is what NK considers to be its waters. During Tuesdays drills, SK was operating south of the Northern Limit Line drawn up by the UN in 1953. North Korea doesn't accept that line and therein lies the problem. Essentially, while everyone else involved accepts the border as is, North Korea is the only one claiming that its border extends further south.

Actually, I'd say China and Russia could do just as well at "policing the world" if they wanted. The problem is that the whole "policing the world" attitude is exactly why the US is disliked by so many other countries.

That is a very good point.

I'm not sure, it seems NK talks the international language when they want. I still think their change in language is climb-down, because although they might not recognize the territory border, they are now speaking in those terms rather than simply viewing any drills as provocation.

They drew a line in the sand, and now SK and US are at that line, they've drawn another further back and said "okay, but don't come near this line or you've had it!"

I guess the next few days will show what the attitude of NK really is.

nice video thanks.

It's great to see civilians standing up to the man!

These cops are just police state puppets who don't know what hit them.

I do wonder what the full truth/reasoning is for their demonstrations. Are they demonstrating against NK as the propaganda machine would have us believe or against SK and US deliberate provocation?

Then there's also the matter of millions of 2nd ammendment followers.

As long as Aruba doesn't get shelled! Seriously though, the Cuban missle crisis happened during the height of the cold war, and it was parking NUCLEAR missles in Cuba, not holding war exercises off the coast.

I love how everything that goes on in the world the US has its hands in. NK shot the artillery rounds and killed South Koreans not the US.

Take up for that mad man lil kim all you want and blame the US all you want. Your a puppet for dictators like lil Kim and probably would have blamed the USA for starting the Holocaust had you been alive at the time!!!
Im so sick of you over the top conspiracy theorists who everytime someone farts in the world you claim the US had something to do with it.

Unfortunately, history shows that as a super power America has had its hands in some very grubby pies from the start!

I understand your sentiment, but I feel it's quite understandable that people are highly suspicious of US intentions considering how America has behaved around the world, trying to overthrow other governments, invading and attacking, corporate involvement, bankers, oil...

By no means are any other governments purer than the driven snow, but when you view your own "secret history" you'll be hard pressed not to be highly suspicious of US government decisions and actions.

And your proof of this would be...?

Please stop trying to rewrite history on these boards. There is no evidence to suggest that SK fired aggressively at NK first, absolutely none.
NK provides no evidence for it, China provides no evidence for it, and yet you alone somehow KNOW that SK fired first.

His point is still real and right lol.. just because SK fired or didn't first doesn't mean that the U.S had a hand in it.. and really with China saying that NK is on their own.. you bet your ass they back down.. they know the SK/NATO/US/UN would steam roll their ass..
reunite the two K's lol.. I'm tired of hearing all this crap about how NK is no push over.. the U.S has been training to fight them for that past 40 years.. we know their tech.. its all old broken down soviet #.. that they didn't want and know was crap so they sold it to a moron.

As for their army.. weak.. SK would roll them any day of the week.. and I'd like to see how many of the make it out alive after the Air Force JDAMS and Bunker busted the bastards.. take a good look at KIA airport to see what our bunker busters could do back in gulf war one.. not much left and they have only gotten better with new gen.

An upfront no hold bar war with the united states would be bad for them. its what the military trains for.. It wouldn't be like this baby setting # we did in iraq and do in afgan. oh the united states is getting their ass kick by cave men.. yeah we are because. we can't do what were supposed to do or trained for.. wait and see if a war breaks out here.. it would be over with in two days..
