Just another case of people not using the tools thoughtfully provided by the professionals. STEREO images have a really easy way to find planets in the shots. See?:

Venus will show up in the images. What the YouTuber seems to be seeing is Venus. No one can alter the path of planets, either. If it's there it shows up as a bright spot that moves slowly. Like the bright spot he's talking about. It's in the images taken both before and after, equally as bright and moving slowly.


What you are thinking you are seeing is pixel bleeding. They have a page on SOHO about that as well. It shows examples of everything they see, and explains what each really is. Streaks are cosmic rays, blobs no matter the shape is pixel bleed. It's nothing being hidden from anyone, nor anything covered up. It's people who choose to not benefit from knowledge others have shared and then going off all half-assed with their pet theory.
If you don't know about something, LEARN, don't just guess.

It is most likely the CME - it wasn't facing the earth so we're alright with that.
