Eat that Turkey, Mr. President!

What a ridiculous amount of posturing.

If I were president, I would SO eat the presidential turkey. I would even dress it myself, maybe fry it in peanut oil or stuff it as a turducken.

The idea, that some industry picks out their very best exemplar of what they can produce (along with a backup), and then the president "pardons" it, what a waste.

At least kill it and feed it to the homeless!

The problem now, is that it's "tradition" to do so....has been for some time now...so nobody wants to be the one to buck tradition.

actually, it has only been going on since....1989, as far as anyone can prove.

I would order a turkey from a free-range farm, and have it brought in.

Heck, I'd dress it out on the back porch of the white house.

Or better yet go on a blackpowder turkey hunt.
