I do know that it has been said"All have an appointment with death" and from what is hear tell, we aint emmortal.
Although there is a Legend or myth of one generation, who may not have to keep this appointment, but maybe im just mixing it up with some old tale, told long ago in a place,,, cue music lol

I don't believe death is the proverbial "End". I think the worst thing that could happen if we find away to temporarily overcome physical death.. is that we miss out on moving on. Since I fancy myself a poet and this topic has made me think of something a wrote awhile back.. forgive me for sharing.

On the brink of letting go,
the future slips at my fingertips.
It’s sad that I might never know,
what the future holds if I hold on.

At the point of no return,
the pages pass and bridges burn.
It’s weird that I might never go,
where I once had been, once I move on.

But it’s the start of a brand new day,
the sun shines bright in a brand new light.
I’ll learn to live, to laugh and play,
in a brand new place and a brand new way.

It’s well past time that I move on,
the future calls beyond these walls.
It’s better to miss what’s already gone,
than to miss the chance of moving on.

First of all, no I don't think there would be any penalty for that. Besides maybe causing some jealousy in the spirit world.

I think after life is not really something which can be considered from this point in eternity, this can only give you the mental stuff needed to create more questions or aid in fantasy based on this reality.

When you slip out, just be as aware as possible.

Before you go, be as aware as possible.

Like the opposite side of the same coin.

It is a beautiful experience, as natural as birth into this existence only safer, more protected and much easier. Once you are out of this body, disassociated with it, you don't really have much say, you are pure energy, light energy, so make your light as strong as you can before you do leave.

I answered in my second post my friend I mean those in power have been killing for what seems ever so why not their be a simular how shall 1 say spiritual deterent as opposed to flesh deterent (death).

If not death exist then problem have we with stagnation of material in both like genetic and intellectual.
Same ideas and people not die never and still take up space could have had by other new men with different things.
How have things new if not old things die?
