A Sanford truck dealership is running a special promotion, offering a free AK-47 with the purchase of a used truck.

I always wondered when businesses would start throwing in free guns with purchase. What's next? Buy a loaf of bread at the corner store and get a free .22 to protect yourself on the walk home?

Please tell me this isn't in Kentucky, lol. Because it so sounds like an offer they would make around here.

Ok, never mind. I read the source article. Florida... yeah, they need more guns on the streets.

I'm not for anti-gun laws by any means, but... Wow, lol!

I have a better deal.

Don't buy a truck, buy an Ak-47, you'll save 20 000$.

This quote is funny :

Phillip Adams, a veteran, said the promotion is a bad idea.

"An AK-47 is a very dangerous weapon," Adams said.

An AK-47 is more dangerous than a M-16 or what?
Guns are dangerous if used by people who don't know what they are doing.

well if you buy the gun without the
truck, then u'll have to get a permit.

If you buy the truck, then the permit is
waived !!!! lmao

sounds like a very good deal for ex-cons

It's nothing new in parts of america, I've read one where a bank gave you a choice of either a rifle or a shotgun for opening up a savings account... I would have gone with the shotgun cos really you could just get a hacksaw from the hardware store and then withdraw everyone else's money.

Pretty soon we will have to protect ourselves from the hordes of people who didn't prepare

They are giving away a $400 VOUCHER to a local gun store not the actual weapon and anyone who does not want the gun will be given cash. The gun shop will then take care of the proper procedure to buy the weapon. Its a PROMOTION tactic used to sell trucks. No different than giving out a free ipod with a VW.

I'd take the cash and put it towards an HK 416.
and a new gun rack for the truck of course!!

here is their site www.nationstrucks.com...:en-US
fficial&client=firefox-a

I find it funny that at the bottom of the page they say "We sell trucks, NOT GIMMICKS!"

hahahah....I think this counts as a gimmick.

My guess is the gun store is doing this because AKs aren't expensive at all.

The cheapest weapon I have seen on the market is a WASR 10- AK variant for $340 brand new...

So this is a good deal for both the truck dealership and the gun store.

God I LOVE the USA.

True, and thank the Lord for it.

But I think there are a few euro countries that have a higher ownership rate than we do..AND they get full-autos to boot....But no truck....
