Haven't heard anything on this yet but have heard Obama is leaving early because of Volcano Merapi.

The RSOE EDIS is a perfectly reliable, highly professional website, so why would you need to question it? If they’re reporting it, it’s happening.

And what has Obama got to do with an earthquake? Do you think he set it off?

HA!
I hope you're being sarcastic!

If you aren't, RSOE is pretty unreliable.

Why strange coincidence?

Earthquakes aren't new, and they happen ALL the time, so why did this one set off your spidey sense?

No I wasn’t.

And how is the RSOE unreliable? Do they report disasters that aren’t happening, are you saying that this:

The EDIS website operated together by the General-Directorate of National Disaster Management (OKF) and RSOE, in co-operation with the Crisis Management Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provides useful information regarding emergency situations and their prevention. Extraordinary events happening in Hungary, Europe and other areas of the World are being monitored in 24 hours per day. All events processed by RSOE EDIS are displayed near real time - for the sake of international compatibility - according to the CAP protocol on a secure website (hisz.rsoe.hu...). To ensure clear transparency all events are categorized separately in the RSS,XML, CAP directory (e.g. earthquake, fire, flood, landslide, nuclear event, tornado, vulcano). RSOE EDIS also contributes in dissemination of the CAP protocol in Hungary.

I lived in Indonesia and graduated from high school there in 75....so bleah you can guess how old I am. I was there two year and never felt an eathquake. It does seem more active than when I was ther then, so does that mean Obama is more important than I am so of course his arrival would "stir the cauldron"? Really? He and the Mrs WALKED Penn Ave on the Inaguration...I think that's way braver than visiting Indonesia.
