Dumb Laws

Here are a few of my favorites from the area I'm in now.

1> It is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.
2> Putting salt on a railraod track may be punishable by death.
3> You may not have an ice cream cone in your back pocket at any time.
4> It is legal to drive the wrong way down a one-way street if you have a lantern attached to the front of your automobile.
5> Men who deflower virgins, regardless of age or marital status, may face up to five years in jail. (This is for a town called Auburn)


I love these from my home state.

1> It is illegal to sell one's eye.
2> When two trains meet each other at a railroad crossing, each shall come to a full stop, and neither shall proceed until the other has gone.
3> It is illegal to take more than three sips of beer at a time while standing.
4> A recently passed anti-crime law requires criminals to give their victims 24 hours notice, either orally or in writing, and to explain the nature of the crime to be committed.
5> Cattle thieves may be hanged on the spot. (Temple)

Don't steal my cow sucker or imma hang you!!!! eheheheheheheheheh

Thats the only one I think it should be changed with a good beat down. Acow WAS a mans life back then...

If you could get hung for it ALOT of people didn't even try...

You'd be surprised, I think it used to be state wide and included horses and cattle.

So...who is legally allowed to deflower the virgins? It is what I think it is, right? Dinner makes me slow, sometimes.

Here's something to consider, and possibly make a law about:

Is it legal to drive in reverse on a freeway as long as your car is moving in the direction o traffic?

There's laws just like that in Ga too. I have no Idea where or why that law would be needed. Maybe it was a way of stopping street performers or something.
