I don't understand the westernised version of Halloween anyway

You know how christmas is about presents, and not this Jesus character we occassionaly hear about? Well, halloween is about candy and costumes. You may hear people mention "all hallow's eve" or the celtic new year, or minimal distance between this world and tirnanog, and stuff like that...

...but really, it's about dressing up and eating candy. How awesome is that?

What are YOU going as for Halloween?

I'm going as a ninja, because I'm all sneaky, just like Matt and Natz.

Fresh chocolate cookie shaped like a legless kitten for anyone who understands that reference without googling it.

I am "American Worker" this year.
I have a Census 2010 hat, for my day job;
Domino's Pizza Apron with a Master's Degree sticking out of the pocket, for my evening job;
and cargo pants with cleaning supplies stuffed in for my night job.
And, I actually have a group of friends having a party this year! Yay!
(Good thing one of the grandkids has a Halloween Birthday or they would
not bother.)

Brave woman. Nicely done. Three different costumes for one Halloween? Looks like you had fun. And pleasingly amusing that the camera used to take the pictures was a Motorola droid.

haha yup it was. I had an iphone but it crapped out. So far I like the droid.
