If you look at the shape of that "object", it appears to somewhat "mimic" the traditional shape of the typical Chinese "eaves". Therefore, I'm wondering if it couldn't be some sort of odd "reflection" or other camera effect derived from an illuminated building.

Also.....

As I stated very early in this current "wave" of Chinese UFO "sightings", the reports from China are a complete mess.....so much so, I don't believe we will ever make any sense of them.

i agree that there is some other purpose for these releases and as phage pointed out there is something random or strange about this pic

as i beleive there might be a nugget of truth in these china sightings i will still investigate
but i will also take a more mabey maby not approach and treat all pics with caution

these reports get weirder each time. I wonder if this "exercise" in information sharing from the Chinese actually has anything to do with UFOs at all?. IMHO It's a ploy by someone to get our attention for reasons not yet known. ...I'm starting to think it's the beginnings of something sinister.

Two students saw a bright object fly into their camera lens that they thought might be an unidentified flying object (UFO) while taking photos of the city's night views at the 10th Pingyao International Photography Festival held in the ancient city of Pingyao in central China's Shanxi Province on the night of Sept. 22.

The whole incident lasted about 40 minutes. The two sent the photos they took to a reporter on the afternoon of Sept. 23 hoping the mystery could be revealed.
