I grew up in Miami and went there when I was a kid ( about 28 years ago). I do remember specific things that were interesting.
1. He slept on a board that was suspended about 4 foot off the ground held up by chains. I remember the tour lady saying something about how
Leedskalnin believed that sleeping in the "air" was better for you.
2. The chair he carved for his sweet sixteen was remarkably comfortable to sit in.
3. The chair he carved for the mother-in-law was not comfortable at all.
