John F. Kennedy 1917 – 1963

The Kennedy family were quite possibly one of the most famous and powerful families in all of America at one point. There fame, exuberance, wealth and of course there popularity among most people was more than prominent and they were loved by many, they were even said to have been nicknamed as "America's royal family" by some. Everything was going right for them it seemed, in 1960 John Kennedy (JFK) even campaigned to become president, a feat which was achieved a year later as he beat off competition from Nixon to officially become the 35th president of the United States in what was the closest presidential election to date.

His Brothers Bobby (AKA: Robert. F. Kennedy - RFK) and Teddy Kennedy were also to be given high ranking positions in American politics shortly afterwards also, Bobby Kennedy was appointed the new United States General Attorney (something that MAY have contributed to his own death at the hands of an assassin in fact but I'm only discussing JFK in this thread) and Teddy was sworn in to the Senate on November 7, 1962.

Shortly after the Kennedy's eldest brother, the main figure of discussion within this thread, JFK, was appointed to the position of President, rumours began spread that the reason the presidential election was in fact so close wasn't down to something like public popularity or anything like that at all. although that's not to say that was the true reason for him winning the election still but Instead, it's claimed that it was merely down to bribery on behalf of Kennedy courtesy of his father Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. possibly involving the Mafia. It was a deal that was allegedly struck with Sam Giancana, a mafia boss at the time, and someone who made a reputation for himself as a vicious killer and a very influential figure. Some say he's personally responsible for over 100 murders. Joe P. Kennedy, who was involved in bootlegging (something the mafia was most certainly involved in) at the time may have been involved in suspicious dealings with the mafia even before the election began, and/or even long before that as well thus prompting him to seek out there help and influence this time to rig parts of the election (the important Illinois vote which is what secured the presidency for JFK) in turn JFK once president would back off of mafia dealings and let them operate in peace.

Giancana’s influence was most certainly great and he could very well have secured the presidency for Joe's second eldest son in this way but also perhaps his own death also at the hands of an assassin in fact as not long after becoming president the complete opposite of what the mafia was expecting occurred, there was a monumentous mafia crackdown in fact and mafia officials were being placed in prison, something Robert Kennedy was also heavily involved in these actions as well. It was these actions that some believed sealed their fates and it was the mafia that was responsible for ridding America of the president and his brother a few years later.

A at first "out there" sounding possibility but a very real possibility indeed.

(It's also worth noting at this point that quite a few years later Sam Giancana himself actually died from somewhat suspicious circumstances seemingly involving the death of JFK, which is most definitely a cause for further discussion - Please see 'The silenced Witnesses' section of this thread under the main heading 'The Assassination of John F. Kennedy')

The Kennedy’s at this time though, the time of holding the presidency position within the family, seemed absolutely destined to rule America and the power and influence that they held was legendary, despite the suspicious circumstances in which they may had achieved it. During his presidency though, he was allegedly involved in a number of controversial decisions and there was also often reports of adultery at the white house something which was not suitable for a man in Kennedy's vulnerable position. One of those women who was said to have been involved was Marilyn Monroe.

Monroe herself at this time was more than a well known figure and was very much in the public eye also. It's also claimed that she not only came into the life of the president, but she may not have been in a relationship with the 2 brothers RFK and JFK. Reports say that she often rang the Whitehouse as well during her affair with the president, something that was claimed with other mistresses also and when JFK had to break up the affair, she then turned to Robert. After her untimely death however (one which was extremely suspicious in itself and one which occurred shortly after her public appearance singing to the president for his birthday and shortly before his own death) information about the affair appeared, something that wasn't discussed much at this time at all and also something the general public knew very little about. Seemingly the media didn't pick on it much for some reason. Soon after the first set of allegations though, yet more information again leaked out via Judith Exner, another mistress of JFK, who also had an affair with the president and someone who may have also died because of this (see "silenced witnesses" section of this thread). More mistresses were rumoured.

So, It seemed that both these women certainly played a part in the life of the Kennedy's, something which perhaps was a contributing factor to both of their deaths? Or maybe Kennedy's very own? Or both?? Possibly yes, but the matter of the fact is and as I have already mentioned, mere months after Monroe's timely and suspicious death another was to occur, this time however, It wasn't to a mistress, It was to a Kennedy......

On Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, at around 12:30 p.m. the President was shot with multiple shots in what became a fatal incident while riding in the presidential limousine along with his wife Jacqueline and the then Texas Governor John Connally and his wife. Connally was also received numerous injured but survived.

This fatal shooting resonated all around America and the world and people everywhere were said to have been traumatised by the events, schools were even closed and sports events postponed. Others however, were to become more than angry, especially at the alleged culprit, a lone gunman named as Lee Harvey Oswald. A name which will be remembered forever in American History, a name which belonged to a man who always claimed his innocence given the chance and a name to a man who was shot down himself before being able to explain why he couldn't have been responsible for the terrible events that occurred on this day. The man that was responsible for this injustice was called Jack Ruby and I'll discuss him, his actions, motives, mafia connections, possible encrypted confession of who was truly responsible here, why he did what he did in this thread soon.

Now the very circumstances of the shooting itself is also of the utmost suspicions also, in fact that's what I really want to focus on more than anything in this thread opposed to the events leading up to and the causing of it, especially since the fatal shot is something that has been heavily criticised by experts and scholars a like ever since it had occurred in November 1963 to this day. Some claiming the official report into what happened is clearly nothing but 'mis-information' others however agree with it and accept it as nothing short of fact. One main talking point however and I'm not willing to discuss many of them in this early stage of the thread, is in regards to the lone gunman theory, one which has received much of the attention by researchers and allegedly only shown to have only been made possible, to have come from a man of certain expertise and skill with a weapon considering the distance as well as other factors such as this was also a moving target etc. and to be blunt, the skill and expertise with a firing weapon was something Oswald more than certainly didn't possess. That's not to mention the amount of damage to come from a single bullet also, and a bullet which in itself was seemingly completely unharmed and showing very minimal signs of being fired at all as well.

It seems that to have carried out the assassination, and the multiple shots, more than one shooter would have been needed and to have made this possible but according to the official investigation, the Warren Commission, this was impossible as Oswald acted completely alone. So did Ruby in the shooting of Oswald.

Much debate has occurred and much information has been passed between the 2 sides, the side of the believers and the side of the disbelievers (of the official story), But one thing was for sure, this once popular, eccentric "man of the people president" was no more and the demise of this once great and all powerful American family began from that very moment.

So, to make it absolutely clear, In this thread I will try and look at exactly how the presidential assassination was to occur, the discrepancies in the official story, the main figures who were said to be responsible and or involved, discuss the possibility of "silenced' witnesses” and finally, discuss why America wasn't ever to be ruled by a Kennedy again.

Possible motives for such a crime aren't of importance in this thread although that's not to say they aren't important but in this thread in particular I want to concentrate on the actual assassination and whether what we have been told is the truth or not and it's the situation of the 'assassination' and the assassins themselves that I'd like to look at primarily

Thank you and I hope you continue reading.

The cause of the suspicion for Conspiracy

- How did the road to the presidency begin and how was it achieved?

The Road to getting a Kennedy in the most powerful seat in the world, the American presidency, seemingly began not through the man who would eventually become president himself but instead through his father, Joseph P. Kennedy. Although quite possibly the reasoning for this wasn't out of "fatherly love" or anything like that at all, in fact JFK wasn't even Joe's first choice son for the presidency in the first place.

But perhaps his reasoning for wanting to assist his sons in their political careers so much was quite simply because Joe's own ambitions of becoming president were to be completely dashed it had seemed through his own public made beliefs on the delicate subject of the war as he wanted to appease Hitler in his time in the government as well as wanting the United States to stay out of the war between Germany and Britain completely!

Something that had a big impact on how people saw him, especially the British citizens (will explain why soon), the then president of the Unites States and as well as the opinion of the soon to be Prime Minister Winston Churchill as at the time Joe who was a very respectable figure in the public eye and was seemingly rising through the ranks quite well and he was also a well known face to the British in particular also as he was previously the first Chairman of the Security and Exchange Commission, a position he achieved in 1934. Then he rose to the position of Chairman of the Federal Maritime Commission in 1937 before finally he reached the peak of his power when Roosevelt appointed him Ambassador to Britain, the first Irish-Catholic ever to hold the position so his words more than certainly made a much bigger impact than perhaps he would have liked and effectively ruined his chances of ever becoming president as in 1940 he was to finally resign under pressure.

This being so however, and like I had mentioned, his own chances of ever becoming president were now dashed but to him, this didn't mean "a Kennedy" wouldn't ever become president, It just meant he wouldn't be the one holding the position. Although sadly presidency wouldn't ever be the destiny of his eldest son, one who allegedly held high political ambitions and was Joe's first choice for the position, Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., as he died in the war Joe opposed to so much.

It seemed that after this his thoughts soon changed to his next eldest son, a one John... Fitzgerald... Kennedy, another son who had played a part in the war, but one that had just survived to made it home.

In fact upon his return he was seen as a big hero by the public, and also a already well known figure for his courageous actions, one such well known act being made after the sinking of his own boat, a Pt-109 at the hands of a Japanese destroyer near the Solomon Islands. He later swam and aided fellow men towards an island where they all had survived. Upon being discharged for good from the military though, John’s popularity was still very much high but he didn't seem to hold as much interest in the world of politics as his eldest brother did but entering it was still something he chose to do as he had seen an opportunity as shortly after leaving the Army, a position for the newly-vacated seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing a district in Massachusetts had opened. It was an opportunity John took and he easily won the election of 1947 and became even more of a popular figure than he already was at the time. By 1953, he was even promoted to the position of senate, a seat he filled up until the presidential elections where his new found political ambitions were then to be reached.

It was this election in particular though that seemed to seriously raise eyebrows as it was actually one of the closest elections in all of American history (Kennedy winning by around and or under 1 % I believe – Could be wrong though of course) and foul play was said to have occurred also. Foul Play in favour of the man who won the election, Kennedy. Although it may have been his father who "stepped up" and spent his millions here as some claimed as it would have been enough to take Kennedy to that extra step and gain the presidency as money to the Kennedy family wasn’t an issue, or perhaps it was a deal struck with the mafia perhaps (?) possibly securing very important votes instead out of fear of spending large amounts of money and still losing.

Well, personally, the mafia theory does seem plausible IMO as Joseph Kennedy was said to have struck deals with them as far back as his bootlegging days in the 1930's as he sold liqueur during prohibition. Something the mafia was most certainly known for also, so surely it was no issue that Giancana, who was the head of the Mafia, would be asked for a favour especially by the man who did him and his organisation a favour previously would it not? Especially a man in Giancana’s powerful position, and the fact he could very well pull something like this off. It was even said that the deal struck meant that Giancana would help in getting Kennedy into the presidential seat in turn for him backing off of Mafia deals that were occuring at the time. A theory suggests that after becoming president there was a massive crackdown on the mafia, something that meant the arrest of Giancana and in turn was the cause for the death of John Kennedy as well as his brother Robert.

Anyway, In Illinois, a very important vote, it's claimed that Mafia boss Sam Giancana did indeed arrange for votes to be fixed here, around 10,000 votes to be cast in favour of Kennedy for example and votes which came from somewhat of an unorthodox manner ..(from ‘the graveyard’ in other words it’s claimed ) and In Texas, Kennedy's running mate, Lyndon Johnson, allegedly arbitrarily disqualified about 100,000 votes meaning that 51 electoral votes that should have gone to Nixon went to Kennedy.

Sure, this could all just be a conspiracy yes, or instead it could just be claims that came about specifically because the election was so close and it being so close left room for mere claims of foul play. It's possible but In 1992, Giancana's own nephew of all people published 'Double Cross: The Story of the Man Who Controlled America', It was a book which had attempted to explain how the rigging of the elections was in fact achieved by Sam Giancana. It is also argued in the book, that after he did do so, Kennedy then reneged on the deal and therefore Giancana had him killed. Thus the motivation for the assassination of the president.

Ok, so, instead of discussing why he was in fact assassinated in the first place, in this thread, as I've mentioned in my opening post, I want to try and primarily look at the assassination itself (that's not to say I'm not going to discuss why he was assassinated) and concentrate on the discrepancies there instead of all of the events that may have caused it such as the failed bay of pigs operation, other cuba connections, CIA connections etc.. So all in all I want to discuss/show first of all why the assassination is a big source of debate in today’s world and why it has its reputation for being one of the biggest conspiracies, quite possibly, in American History.

That being so, in this section of the thread, I’m going to explain and show some of the evidence proving the assassination to be a conspiracy, discuss and bring to light some of the witnesses that were silenced (murdered) for having knowledge of the assassination (Giancana is also included) and the reasoning behind so many people’s suspicions of the heavily debated Warren Commission.

Please enjoy reading...

- The evidence of a cover-up

NOTE: Points below are numbered alphabetically to make them easier to come back to when discussing them further on in this thread by me or by other members in reply to this thread.

Here is some of the worthy information discussing a whole host of evidence supporting the conspiracy angle of these events.

NOTE: Everything has been wrote in my own words apart from where I have shown otherwise.

The information however, was obtained by me from this link.

1.) It took 15 minutes to get a description of the assassin (Oswald). It's still not yet known how they found this description so quickly as It should have been impossible.

2.) No interrogation records of any kind were ever kept for anyone arrested at Dealey Plaza, Including Oswald’s after enduring approximately 13 hours of it.

3.) The pictures of Oswald holding a gun are clear fakes.

(I'll show evidence of this later on in this thread once discussing Oswald)

(Please See "A look at Lee Harvey Oswald" Section of this thread under the subtitle of "The backyard photos" please.
)

4.) For some reason JFK's body was actually removed from Dallas before any autopsy could be performed.

5.) Upon leaving, JFK's corpse was wrapped in a sheet inside an ornamental bronze casket. It then later arrived at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Washington D.C. in a body bag inside a plain casket.

6.) The autopsy photographs of JFK's wounds allegedly differed quite radically from the actual descriptions of his wounds given from the doctors at Parkland Hospital.

7.) A whole tray of evidence, including what was left of the president's brain, remains missing from the National Archives still.

Also, the condition of the famous "the magic bullet" suggests it was planted as it doesn't seem to show much signs of being fired at all.

8.) Many films that were made by the surroundings citizens were soon confiscated never to be returned again. (That's not to say all of them were)

9.) (As will be mentioned and explained in the next section of this section of the thread discussing the assassination of JFK specifically) Many witnesses have died under extremely suspicious and 'conspiracy-worthy' circumstances.

11.) Both the FBI and the CIA seemingly concealed important evidence from the Warren Commission.

12.) Critical data unearthed by the Warren Commission in 1964 and the Assassination Committee in 1978 is still classified secret.

And here is a relatively small (relative in relation to the actual list!) of witnesses that appear to have been "silenced", many of whom were at very important and key events in regards to finding the truth about who was involved in the assassination such as about to appear in court actually giving evidence for the assassination before there untimely deaths for example.

Gary Underhill:

Underhill 'was' a CIA agent who claimed (and apparently told one of his friends also) that the assassination of the president was the result of a conspiracy involving other members of the CIA. He claims there was a connection to Cuba in fact, specifically the Bay of pigs operation. He says.."They tried it in Cuba and they couldn't get away with it. Right after the Bay of Pigs. But Kennedy wouldn't let them do it. And now he'd gotten wind of this and he was really going to blow the whistle on them. And they killed him!"

Shortly after Underhill told some of his closest friends that he feared for his life because of what he knew, he was to be found dead after what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head. It was officially ruled a suicide, which is not impossible here I have to admit, but the circumstances seem to show otherwise.

Gary Underhill was born in Brooklyn on 7th August, 1915. He graduated from Harvard in 1937 and during the Second World War he served with the Military Intelligence Service (6 July 1943 to May 1946). After leaving the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) he worked on specific projects for the Central Intelligence Agency. He was also military affairs editor for Life Magazine.

After the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Underhill told his friend, Charlene Fitsimmons, that he was convinced that he had been killed by members of the CIA. He also said: "Oswald is a patsy. They set him up. It's too much. The -[SNIP]- have done something outrageous. They've killed the President! I've been listening and hearing things. I couldn't believe they'd get away with it, but they did!"

Underhill believed there was a connection between Executive Action, Fidel Castro and the death of Kennedy: "They tried it in Cuba and they couldn't get away with it. Right after the Bay of Pigs. But Kennedy wouldn't let them do it. And now he'd gotten wind of this and he was really going to blow the whistle on them. And they killed him!"

Underhill told friends that he feared for his life: "I know who they are. That's the problem. They know I know. That's why I'm here. I can't stay in New York."

Gary Underhill was found dead on 8th May 1964. He had been shot in the head and it was officially ruled that he had committed suicide. However, in his book, Destiny Betrayed, James DiEugenio claimed that the bullet entered the right-handed Underhill's head behind the left ear.

Guy Banister:

The 2nd member of this list is in fact a former FBl agent as well as being a possible friend of Lee Harvey Oswald perhaps(?) After a dispute about files missing though, files that contained information on his alleged anti-Castro activities, and possible connections to an assassination of the president, he shot Jack Martin, the man he was out drinking with at the time, injuring him greatly but surviving. This was 22nd November, 1963, the day of Kennedy's assassination.

Banister was suspended by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) for an incident with a gun in a bar. His suspension ended in June 1954, but when he refused to be transferred to the NOPD's Planning Department, he was dismissed from the force. After leaving the police he established his own private detective agency, Guy Banister Associates.

In 1963 Banister and David Ferrie began working for the lawyer G. Wray Gill and his client, Carlos Marcello. This involved attempts to block Marcello's deportation to Guatemala.

Later Banister was linked to the plot to assassinate John F. Kennedy. On 9th August, 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald distributed leaflets that supported Fidel Castro and his government in Cuba. On these leaflets was the address 544 Camp Street, New Orleans. This was also the office of Carlos Bringuier, an anti-Castro exile. Around the corner from 544 Camp Street, located in the same building, was 531 Lafayette Street, which housed the detective agency run by Banister. This raised suspicions that Oswald had been involved in a right-wing conspiracy to kill Kennedy.

On the afternoon of 22nd November, 1963, Banister and Jack Martin went drinking together. On their return to Banister's office the two men got involved in a dispute about a missing file. Banister became so angry that he he drew his Magnum revolver and hit Martin with it several times. Martin was so badly injured that he had to be detained in the local Charity Hospital.

Over the next few days Martin told friends that Banister and David Ferrie had been involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. According to Martin, Ferrie was the getaway man whose job it was to fly the assassin out of Texas. He also claimed that Ferrie knew Lee Harvey Oswald from their days in the New Orleans Civil Air Patrol and had given him lessons on how to use a rifle with a telescopic sight.

On 25th November, Martin was contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He told them that he thought Ferrie had hypnotized Oswald into assassinating Kennedy. The FBI considered Martin's evidence unreliable and decided not to investigate Banister and Ferrie.

This information eventually reached Jim Garrison, the district attorney of New Orleans. He interviewed Martin about these accusations. Martin claimed that during the summer of 1963 Banister and David Ferrie were involved in something very sinister with a group of Cuban exiles.

Jim Garrison now became convinced that a group of right-wing activists, including Banister, David Ferrie, Carlos Bringuier and Clay Shaw, were involved in a conspiracy with the CIA to kill John F. Kennedy. Garrison claimed this was in retaliation for his attempts to obtain a peace settlement in both Cuba and Vietnam.

Mary Meyer:

Mary Meyer was one of the allege women to have an affair with the president in his time in office, others include Marilyn Monroe and Judith Exner another. She was also the estranged wife of the CIA veteran Cord Meyer. She even began to visit Kennedy in the white house it's claimed, as well as brag to her friends about the affair and certain secrets that Kennedy had told her such as nuclear disarmament secrets and the situation in Cuba.

It was disclosed at a meeting in 1963 that they was having an affair by the publisher of the Washington post during a convention but weirdly no newspapers reported anything about this but the affair was seemingly brought to an end soon afterwards.

Mary herself soon after this started becoming suspicious that she was being watched and at times her house was even broken into. She claims to have seen someone there and then subsequently leaving at one point which obviously frightened her greatly but then shortly after these incidents she was then to become the victim of a murder crime after suffering from 2 gunshot wounds from close range.

In October 1961, Mary began visiting John F. Kennedy in the White House. It was about this time she began an affair with the president. Mary told her friends, Ann and James Truitt, that she was keeping a diary about the relationship.

In 1962 Mary made contact with Timothy Leary, the director of research projects at Harvard University. Leary supplied '___' to Mary who used it with Kennedy. Leary also claimed that Mary helped influence Kennedy's views on nuclear disarmament and rapprochement with Cuba. It was later discovered that the FBI was keeping a file on Mary. Later, James Angleton, head of counterintelligence at the CIA admitted that the agency was bugging Mary's telephone and bedroom during this period.

Kennedy aide, Meyer Feldman, claimed in an interview with Nina Burleigh that the president might have discussed substantial issues with her: "I think he might have thought more of her than some of the other women and discussed things that were on his mind, not just social gossip."

In January, 1963, Philip Graham, the publisher of the Washington Post, attended a convention of American newspaper editors in Phoenix. Graham, who was suffering from alcoholism, disclosed at the meeting that John F. Kennedy was having an affair with Mary Meyer. No newspaper reported this incident but Kennedy decided to bring an end to the affair. However, they continued to see each other at social functions.

According to his biography, Flashbacks (1983) Timothy Leary claims that Mary phoned him the day after Kennedy was assassinated: "They couldn't control him any more. He was changing too fast. He was learning too much... They'll cover everything up. I gotta come see you. I'm scared. I'm afraid."

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/710b435723b5.jpg[/atsimg]

In the summer of 1964 Meyer told friends that she believed someone had been inside her house while she was away. On another occasion she told Elizabeth Eisenstein that "she thought she had seen somebody leaving as she walked in". Mary reported these incidents to the police. Eisenstein said Mary was clearly frightened by these incidents.

On 12th October, 1964, Mary Pinchot Meyer was shot dead as she walked along the Chesapeake and Ohio towpath in Georgetown. Henry Wiggins, a car mechanic, was working on a vehicle on Canal Road, when he heard a woman shout out: "Someone help me, someone help me". He then heard two gunshots. Wiggins ran to the edge of the wall overlooking the tow path. He later told police he saw "a black man in a light jacket, dark slacks, and a dark cap standing over the body of a white woman."

Mary appeared to be killed by a professional hitman. The first bullet was fired at the back of the head. She did not die straight away. A second shot was fired into the heart. The evidence suggests that in both cases, the gun was virtually touching Mary’s body when it was fired. As the FBI expert testified, the “dark haloes on the skin around both entry wounds suggested they had been fired at close-range, possibly point-blank”.

Soon afterwards Raymond Crump, a black man, was found not far from the murder scene. He was arrested and charged with Mary's murder. Police tests were unable to show that Crump had fired the .38 caliber Smith and Wesson gun.

There were no trace of nitrates on his hands or clothes. Despite an extensive search of the area no gun could be found. This included a two day search of the tow path by 40 police officers. The police also drained the canal near to the murder scene. Police scuba divers searched the waters away from where Mary was killed. However, no gun could be found. Nor could the prosecution find any link between Crump and any Smith and Wesson gun.

Crump’s lawyer, Dovey Roundtree, was convinced of his innocence. A civil rights lawyer who defended him for free, she argued that Crump was so timid and feeble-minded that if he had been guilty he would have confessed everything while being interrogated by the police.

No newspaper reports identified the true work of her former husband, Cord Meyer. He was described as a government official or an author. A large number of journalists knew that Meyer had been married to a senior CIA officer. They also knew that she had been having an affair with John F. Kennedy. None of this was reported. In fact, the judge, ruled that the private life of Mary Meyer could not be mentioned in court.

C. D. Jackson:

Jackson was the senior vice president of Life magazine at the time of his death, Beforehand however, he attempted to obtain the famous 'Zapruder film' (the entire film showing the exact events which occurred during the assassination of president John F. Kennedy - Before the event, during and afterwards - Video is shown later on in this thread) something which he achieved but only under his own name, not Life magazines weirdly.

The film wasn't publicised much though and was subsequently locked away for the time being. (The film was not widely seen by the public until it was shown on ABC's Goodnight America in 1975) Jackson soon after obtaining the film died suspiciously of what was classed as "unknown causes" In September 1964. Much like everyone else on this list, the death was deemed highly suspicious.

In 1953 C. D. Jackson served on the Presidents' Committee on International Information Activities. The following year he was appointed as Special Assistant to President for International Affairs.

Jackson urged President Dwight D. Eisenhower to speak-out against Senator Joe McCarthy. He was probably influenced by McCarthy's attacks on CIA officials such as Frank Wisner and Cord Meyer. In Jackson's opinion McCarthy was damaging the anti-Communist cause with self serving and unstable behavior.

According to Carl Bernstein, Jackson was "Henry Luce's personal emissary to the CIA". He also claimed that in the 1950s Jackson had arranged for CIA employees to travel with Time-Life credentials as cover.

After the election of John F. Kennedy in 1960 Jackson left the White House and became publisher of Life Magazine. When Kennedy was assassinated, Jackson purchased the Zapruder Film on behalf of Life. David Lifton points out in The Great Zapruder Film Hoax (2004) that: "Abraham Zapruder in fact sold the film to Time-Life for the sum of $150,000 - about $900,000 dollars in today's money... Moreover, although Life had a copy of the film, it did little to maximize the return on its extraordinary investment. Specifically, it did not sell this unique property - as a film - to any broadcast media or permit it to be seen in motion, the logical way to maximize the financial return on its investment... A closer look revealed something else. The film wasn't just sold to Life - the person whose name was on the agreement was C. D. Jackson." Jackson published individual frames of Zapruder's film but did not allow the film to be screened in its entirety.

Soon after the assassination Jackson also successfully negotiated with Marina Oswald the exclusive rights to her story. Peter Dale Scott argues in his book Deep Politics and the Death of JFK (1996) that Jackson, on the urging of Allen Dulles, employed Isaac Don Levine, a veteran CIA publicist, to ghost-write Marina's story. This story never appeared in print.

Charles Douglas Jackson died on 18th September, 1964. On December 15, 1971, Jackson's widow gave his papers to the Eisenhower Presidential Library. These documents revealed that he had been working as a CIA agent since 1948.

Rose Cheramie:

Cheramie was allegedly a prostitute and a striptease dancer working in Jack Ruby's (the man who shot and killed Oswald before he could prove his innocence) own Dallas Nightclub. She also allegedly came across a plot to Kill the president through Oswald and Ruby as Oswald reportedly often visited the club and knew Ruby before the assassination quite well. She claimed that they was both working together also.

In fact on the 20th November 1963, mere days before Kennedy himself was killed, she was found unconscious at the side of the road. She later claimed in Hospital the president would be shot and killed "within a few days" which he most certainly was meaning she did in fact know about the plot, if this was indeed true, and when she says Oswald and Ruby was originally working together she may have been telling the truth then also.

Sadly we'll never know the full truth though as she died in a hit and run incident (convenient?) in 1965.

Rose Cheramie (Cherami) was found unconsciousness by the side of the road at Eunice, Louisiana, on 20th November, 1963. Lieutenant Francis Frugé of the Louisiana State Police took her to the state hospital. On the journey Cheramie said that she had been thrown out of a car by two gangsters who worked for Jack Ruby. She claimed that the men were involved in a plot to kill John F. Kennedy. Cheramie added that Kennedy would be killed in Dallas within a few days. Later she told the same story to doctors and nurses who treated her. As she appeared to be under the influence of drugs her story was ignored.

Following the assassination, Cheramie was interviewed by the police. She claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald had visited Ruby's night club. In fact, she believed the two men were having a homosexual relationship.

Rose Cheramie was found dead on 4th September, 1965. At first it appeared she had been involved in a road accident. Later it was argued that she had been shot in the head before being run over by by a car in order to disguise the original wound. However, the Louisiana State Police Memo reported: "Cheramie died of injuries received from an automobile accident on a strip of highway near Big Sandy, Texas, in the early morning of September 4, 1965. The driver stated Cheramie had been lying in the roadway and although he attempted to avoid hitting her, he ran over the top of her skull, causing fatal injuries. An investigation into the accident and the possibility of a relationship between the victim and the driver produced no evidence of foul play. The case was closed"

Dorothy Kilgallen:

Dorothy Kilgallen was actually a very well known face to the public as she was a well knwon tv journalist, sdly though this also may have been what contributed to her death as she had an opportunity to interview the assassin who assassinated, Jack Ruby while he was in Prison. She was also involved in Marilyn monroes relationship mwith the president as well and she was possibly one of the first journalists to publish anything about th two.

In 1962, before the deat of Kennedy she claimed to her friends that she was about to "break" the JFK case wide open. It seems that shortly after these claims though; she was to meet a grisly end herself. An end which was ruled a suicide through a drug overdose but something that was seemingly no such thing what so ever.

However, Kilgallen broke this rule when on the 3rd August, 1962, she became the first journalist to refer to Kennedy's relationship with Marilyn Monroe. She did not actually name him but left enough clues for the readers to identify Kennedy as the secret man in Monroe's life (later Kilgallen told friends she was actually referring to Robert Kennedy). One can only assume that she came under severe pressure from someone to write this story.

The following day, Monroe was found dead. Kilgallen must have realized that she had been set her up to smear the Kennedy brothers. Rumours soon began circulating that Robert Kennedy had arranged Monroe's death to protect his brother's reputation.

John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, on 22nd November, 1963. Kilgallen took a keen interest in the case and soon became convinced that Kennedy had not been killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. Kilgallen had a good contact within the Dallas Police Department. He gave her a copy of the original police log that chronicled the minute-by-minute activities of the department on the day of the assassination, as reflected in the radio communications. This enabled her to report that the first reaction of Chief Jesse Curry to the shots in Dealey Plaza was: "Get a man on top of the overpass and see what happened up there". Kilgallen pointed out that he lied when he told reporters the next day that he initially thought the shots were fired from the Texas Book Depository.

Kilgallen also had a source within the Warren Commission. -(Thomas Hale Boggs??)- This person gave her an 102 page segment dealing with Jack Ruby before it was published. She published details of this leak and so therefore ensuring that this section appeared in the final version of the report. The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the leak and on 30th September, 1964, Kilgallen reported in the New York Journal American that the FBI "might have been more profitably employed in probing the facts of the case rather than how I got them".

Kilgallen began to tell friends that she was close to discovering who assassinated Kennedy. According to David Welsh of Ramparts Magazine Kilgallen "vowed she would 'crack this case.' And another New York show biz friend said Dorothy told him in the last days of her life: "In five more days I'm going to bust this case wide open." Aware of what had happened to Bill Hunter and Jim Koethe, Kilgallen handed a draft copy of her chapter on the assassination to her friend, Florence Smith.

On 8th November, 1965, Kilgallen, was found dead in her New York apartment. She was fully dressed and sitting upright in her bed. The police reported that she had died from taking a cocktail of alcohol and barbiturates. The notes for the chapter she was writing on the case had disappeared. Her friend, Florence Smith, died two days later. The copy of Kilgallen's article were never found.

Some of her friends believed Kilgallen had been murdered. Marc Sinclaire was Kilgallen's personal hairdresser. He often woke Kilgallen in the morning. Kilgallen was usually out to the early hours of the morning and like her husband always slept late. When he found her body he immediately concluded she had been murdered.

(1) Kilgallen was not sleeping in her normal bedroom. Instead she was in the master bedroom, a room she had not occupied for several years.

(2) Kilgallen was wearing false eyelashes. According to Sinclaire she always took her eyelashes off before she went to bed.

(3) She was found sitting up with the book, The Honey Badger, by Robert Ruark, on her lap. Sinclaire claims that she had finished reading the book several weeks earlier (she had discussed the book with Sinclaire at the time).

(4) Kilgallen had poor eyesight and could only read with the aid of glasses. Her glasses were not found in the bedroom where she died.

(5) Kilgallen was found wearing a bolero-type blouse over a nightgown. Sinclaire claimed that this was the kind of thing "she would never wear to go to bed".

David Ferrie:

Ferrie, was also an alleged associate of the likes of Oswald and Banister and he was also one that was set to die after a relatively short period of time after the assassination, In fact it was merely hours before he was set to appear in court concerning the assassination also!

Despite having 2 typewritten suicide notes in his possession, it was claimed by Coroners, allegedly, that he had died of natural causes. A cause for suspicious?

The result of his death however,...A brain embolism. Although perhaps it was his real life connections that were the real cause of his death? A death which occurred shortly before he was to be tried for conspiracy in the JFK assassination by the New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison, whose investigation convinced him that the CIA was involved.

It’s also claimed by some that Ferrie was in fact the Grassy knoll shooter also.

In 1963 Ferrie and Guy Bannister began working for the lawyer G. Wray Gill and his client, Carlos Marcello. This involved attempts to block Marcello's deportation to Guatemala.

On the afternoon of 22nd November, 1963, Guy Bannister and Jack Martin went drinking together. On their return to Banister's office the two men got involved in a dispute about a missing file. Banister became so angry that he he drew his Magnum revolver and hit Martin with it several times. Martin was so badly injured that he had to be detained in the local Charily Hospital.

Over the next few days Martin told friends that Ferrie and Guy Bannister had been involved in the assassination of John F.

Martin claimed that during the summer of 1963 Ferrie and Guy Bannister were involved in something very sinister with a group of Cuban exiles.

Jim Garrison now became convinced that a group of right-wing activists, including Ferrie, Guy Bannister, Carlos Bringuier and Clay Shaw, were involved in a conspiracy with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to kill John F. Kennedy. Garrison claimed this was in retaliation for his attempts to obtain a peace settlement in both Cuba and Vietnam.

David Ferrie died of a cerebral hemorrhage on 22nd February, 1967. However, some researchers, including Jim Garrison, believe he was murdered.

In 2007 Edward Haslam published Dr. Mary's Monkey. Haslam argues that Alton Ochsner organized "one of the 159 covert research centers which the CIA had admitted to setting up." Haslam believes that Ochsner recruited Mary Sherman to run the research operation The basic project was set up March 23, 1962, using conventional facilities, which then expanded out of the loop for its final phases. Haslam believes that Sherman was involved in carrying out secret research into developing a vaccine to prevent an epidemic of soft-tissue cancers caused by polio vaccine contaminated with SV-40. This work included using a linear particle accelerator located in the Infectious Disease Laboratory at the Public Health Service Hospital in New Orleans. According to Haslam there was a second-lab working on this project. This was being run by David Ferrie on Louisiana Avenue Parkway. Dr. Sherman was murdered on 21st July, 1964.

Eladio Del Valle:

Eladio was a friend of Ferries, in fact as well as being a friend of Ferries; he also died roughly around the sme time as him. Officially Eladio was murdered the day AFTER Ferrie, suffering what was a a close range gunshot, much like Mary Meyers.

Eladio was also a a political comrade, one who was allegedly quite heavily involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the bay f pigs operation.

Eladio del Valle was born in Cuba. He was a supporter of Fulgencio Batista and served as a congressman in Havana. He went into exile just before Fidel Castro gained power in January, 1959.

Del Valle moved to Florida where he was active in the Free Cuba Committee, an organization formed by Sergio Arcacha Smith. He also worked for Santo Trafficante and with his friend, David Ferrie he was involved in fire-bombing sugar fields in Cuba.

During his investigation into the assassination of John F. Kennedy case, Jim Garrison wanted to interview Eladio del Valle to obtain information against Clay Shaw. However, he was unable to find him.

Eladio del Valle was murdered on 22nd February, 1967. He had been shot in the heart. He died only hours after his friend, David Ferrie. Diego Gonzales Tendera, a close friend, later claimed de Valle was murdered because of his involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

In 1975 Harry Dean claimed he had been an undercover agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In 1962 he infiltrated the John Birch Society. He later reported that General Edwin Walker and John Rousselot had hired two gunman, Eladio del Valle and Loran Hall, to kill President John F. Kennedy. However, Dean was unable to provide any evidence to back up his claim.

Three years later further evidence emerged linking Del Valle with the assassination. Tony Cuesta had been captured during a mission at Monte Barreto in the Miramar district of Cuba on 29th May, 1966. A member of his team, Herminio Diaz Garcia, was killed during the raid. Cuesta, who always vowed that Castro would never take him alive, attempted suicide by setting off a grenade, which blinded him and blew off his right hand. Cuesta spent a long time in hospital as a result of his serious injuries.

In 1978 President Jimmy Carter arranged for a group of imprisoned exiles to be released. This included Tony Cuesta. Just before leaving Cuba Cuesta asked to see General Fabian Escalante, the head of Cuba's G-2 Spy Agency. Cuesta told Escalante that he had been involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He also named De Valle and Herminio Diaz Garcia as being involved in the conspiracy.

Thomas Hale Boggs:

Thomas Hale Boggs, unlike some mentioned wasn't a “gangster” or a possible friend of Oswald or Ruby or both. In fact there wasn't any connection to anything such as this, instead he was a politician himself, and not just that he was one of the members of the actual Warren Commision itself! (see next section of this thread please) of all things. Although it may have been his involvement in the commission that ended his life perhaps as he make his own feelings and doubts clear about it and about it's inaccuracies.

One of his own friend’s claims that Boggs says he wished he had never even been a part of the commission because of this and he claims that according to Boggs, Hoover extensively lied when called to the commission also. He apparently lied all about Oswalds involvement as well as ruby’s involvement and their relationship together among other things.

Boggs was then to be killed in a plane crash in Alaska in 1972. As far as I'm aware, his body to this day has never been found.

Boggs had doubts that John F. Kennedy and J. D. Tippit had been killed by Lee Harvey Oswald and that Jack Ruby was not part of any conspiracy." According to Bernard Fensterwald: "Almost from the beginning, Congressman Boggs had been suspicious over the FBI and CIA's reluctance to provide hard information when the Commission's probe turned to certain areas, such as allegations that Oswald may have been an undercover operative of some sort. When the Commission sought to disprove the growing suspicion that Oswald had once worked for the FBI, Boggs was outraged that the only proof of denial that the FBI offered was a brief statement of disclaimer by J. Edgar Hoover. It was Hale Boggs who drew an admission from Allen Dulles that the CIA's record of employing someone like Oswald might be so heavily coded that the verification of his service would be almost impossible for outside investigators to establish."

It has been claimed by John Judge that when Alan Dulles was asked by Hale Boggs about releasing the evidence, he replied, "Go ahead and print it, nobody will read it anyway."

According to one of his friends: "Hale felt very, very torn during his work (on the Commission) ... he wished he had never been on it and wished he'd never signed it (the Warren Report)." Another former aide argued that, "Hale always returned to one thing: Hoover lied his eyes out to the Commission - on Oswald, on Ruby, on their friends, the bullets, the gun, you name it."

Thomas Hale Boggs disappeared while on a campaign flight from Anchorage to Juneau, Alaska, on 16th October, 1972. Also killed in the accident was Nick Begich, a member of the House of Representatives. No bodies were ever found and in 1973 his wife, Lindy Boggs, was elected in her husband's place.

The Los Angeles Star, on November 22, 1973, reported that before his death Boggs claimed he had "startling revelations" on Watergate and the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

J.A. Milteer:

J. A. Milteer, was included in this list but I can't seem to find very much information about him in all honesty but as far as I'm aware he very much so was a far-right Miami activist, and racist. And I'm not 100% sure how he received this information but it's claimed that he predicted the death of JFK from an assassin as well as there being a scapegoat involved and that scapegoat was to be arrested shortly after the assassination itself.

He died when his heater exploded in February 1974. Around the same time as some mentioned here.

I can't find much more definitive information about him unfortunately.

11.) [atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/ea4dc153c913.jpg[/atsimg]
Clay Shaw:

Shaw was brought into the trial originally by Garrison as one of the prime suspects in the case of the conspiracy to Kill JFK. Unable to prove it however he was acquitted in 1969 and then unfortunately died of Cancer in '74. Just a year after his death though, it was then fully confirmed by someone else that the previous claim that he had absolutely no connections to the CIA were found to be 100% completely false. The person making the claim was in fact a high-level CIA defector, Victor Marchetti.

It seems that he most certainly could've had interesting information but sadly and coincidentally passed away.

Clay Shaw was a businessman in New Orleans. He joined the U.S. Army and took part in the fighting in Europe. He served as an aide to General Charles Thrasher and by the time he retired in 1946 he had reached the rank of major general.

He played an important role in the restoration of historic New Orleans sites and in 1962 he established the city's International Trade Mart. He was a member of the World Trade Development Committee and a member of the board of directors of Permindex.

In 1961, Jim Garrison was elected as the city's district attorney. He developed a good reputation and in his first two years he never lost a case. Garrison took a keen interest in the case of Lee Harvey Oswald. After investigating the matter he became convinced that a group of right-wing activists, including Shaw, Guy Bannister, David Ferrie and Carlos Bringuier were involved in a conspiracy with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to kill John F. Kennedy. Garrison claimed this was in retaliation for his attempts to obtain a peace settlement in both Cuba and Vietnam.

Two of those being investigated died: Guy Bannister (June, 1964) and David Ferrie (February, 1967). On 2nd March, 1967, Jim Garrison announced the arrest of Clay Shaw on charges of conspiring to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. Attorney General Ramsay Clark, stated that the FBI had already investigated and cleared Shaw "in November and December of 1963" of "any part in the assassination". As Garrison has pointed out: "The statement that Shaw, whose name appears nowhere in the 26 volumes of the Warren Commission, had been investigated by the federal government was intriguing. If Shaw had no connection to the assassination, I wondered, why had he been investigated?" Within a few days of this statement Clark had to admit that he had published inaccurate information and that no investigation of Shaw had taken place.

As part of Garrison's attempt to prove the existence of a conspiracy, he subpoenaed the Zapruder Film from Time-Life Corporation. The company refused and they fought this subpoena all the way to the Supreme Court, which finally ruled that the corporation had to hand over the film. As Jim Marrs has pointed out: "Time-Life grudgingly turned over to Garrison a somewhat blurry copy of the film - but that was enough. Soon, thanks to the copying efforts of Garrison's staff, bootleg Zapruder films were in the hands of several assassination researchers."

At the trial in February, 1969, Perry Russo claimed that in September, 1963, he overheard Shaw and Ferrie discussing the proposed assassination of John F. Kennedy. It was suggested that the crime could be blamed on Fidel Castro.

During Shaw's trial Russo's testimony was discredited by the revelation that he underwent hypnosis and had been administered sodium pentathol, or "truth serum," at the request of the prosecution. It claimed that Russo only came up with a link between Clay Shaw , David Ferrie and Lee Harvey Oswald after these treatments. The jury found Shaw not guilty of conspiring to assassinate John F. Kennedy.

In 1973 Jim Garrison lost the office to Harry Connick. After leaving his post as district attorney Garrison wrote a book about his investigations of the Kennedy assassination, On the Trail of the Assassins (1988).

Clay Shaw died in 1974.

Sam Giancana:

Giancana, a very well known name in the case of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, whether it be through rigging votes, having affairs with mistresses, the murder of Fidel Castro or the actual assassination itself. His name just constantly seems to pop up here. And rightly IMHO as he certainly seems to have been heavily involved with the events that occurred here, as well as being in Charge of the mafia which might explain why we keep hearing his name, especially given the mafia's peculiar deals around this time and there seemingly sketchy relationship with the president.

It was possibly his shady deals though that resulted in his demise as Giancana was shot and killed in his basement while serving under the witness protection program in 1975. He was scheduled to appear and testify to the Senate Intelligence Committee on the ClA's alliance with the Mafia in an attempt to kill Castro so his death seems quite convenient to those who were involved perhaps.

In 1926 Giancana was arrested for murder. However, charges were dropped after the key witness was murdered. He was later sent to prison for theft and burglary. On his release he went to work for leading gangster Paul Ricca. By the 1950s Giancana was one of the leading crime bosses in Chicago.

In 1960 Giancana was involved in talks with Allen W. Dulles, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), about the possibility of murdering Fidel Castro. It is claimed that during the 1960 presidential election Giancana used his influence in Illinois to help John F. Kennedy defeat Richard Nixon. The two men, at that time, shared the same girlfriend, Judith Campbell Exner. -(One f the mistresses of JFK as already mentioned)-

After becoming president John F. Kennedy appointed his brother, Robert Kennedy, as U.S. Attorney General. The two men worked closely together on a wide variety of issues including the attempt to tackle organized crime. One of their prime targets was to get Giancana arrested.

On 22nd November, 1963, President Kennedy was assassinated. Rumours began to circulate that Giancana and other gang bosses such as Santos Trafficante, Carlos Marcello, and Johnny Roselli, were involved in the crime.

In 1975 Frank Church and his Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities discovered that Judith Campbell had been involved with both Giancana and John F. Kennedy. It emerged that during the 1960 presidential election Campbell took messages from Giancana to Kennedy. Campbell later claimed these messages concerned the plans to murder Fidel Castro. Kennedy also began an affair with Campbell and used her as a courier to carry sealed envelopes to Giancana. He told her they contained "intelligence material" concerning the plot to kill Castro.

Giancana was now ordered to appear before Church's committee. However, before he could appear, on 19th June, 1975, Sam Giancana was murdered in his own home. He had a massive wound in the back of the head. He had also been shot six times in a circle around the mouth.

On 14th January, 1992, the New York Post claimed that Hoffa, Santos Trafficante and Carlos Marcello had all been involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Frank Ragano was quoted as saying that at the beginning of 1963 Hoffa had told him to take a message to Trafficante and Marcello concerning a plan to kill Kennedy. When the meeting took place at the Royal Orleans Hotel, Ragano told the men: "You won't believe what Hoffa wants me to tell you. Jimmy wants you to kill the president." He reported that both men gave the impression that they intended to carry out this order.

In 1992 Giancana's nephew published Double Cross: The Story of the Man Who Controlled America. The book attempted to establish that Giancana had rigged the 1960 Presidential election vote in Cook County on John Kennedy's behalf, which effectively gave Kennedy the election. It is argued that Kennedy reneged on the deal and therefore Giancana had him killed.

In his autobiography, Mob Lawyer (1994) (co-written with journalist Selwyn Raab) Frank Ragano added that in July, 1963, he was once again sent to New Orleans by Hoffa to meet Santos Trafficante and Carlos Marcello concerning plans to kill President John F. Kennedy. When Kennedy was killed Hoffa apparently said to Ragano: "I told you could do it. I'll never forget what Carlos and Santos did for me." He added: "This means Bobby is out as Attorney General". Marcello later told Ragano: "When you see Jimmy (Hoffa), you tell him he owes me and he owes me big."

John Roselli:
Roselli was also a member of the mafia, a high ranking "official" in fact, and one whom was in charge (it's alleged) of important mafia contacts for its assassination projects. It's also claimed that he was, much like Giancana, scheduled to appear for what was for him a second appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee concerning the assassination of JFK but before he could attend. Reasoning for this was beause he himself had now been murdered.

Suspicious giving his pending appearance before the commitee most definitely and the fact he was clearly murdered adds to the suspicion as he was found after heading out to a golf game but never making it there, a full 10 days later dismembered, stuffed into an oil drum and also dropped into the ocean off Miami.

Roselli discovered in 1966 that the FBI had been collecting information on his activities. Attempts were made to deport him as an illegal alien. Roselli moved to Los Angeles where he went into early retirement. It was at this time he told attorney, Edward Morgan: "The last of the sniper teams dispatched by Robert Kennedy in 1963 to assassinate Fidel Castro were captured in Havana. Under torture they broke and confessed to being sponsored by the CIA and the US government. At that point, Castro remarked that, 'If that was the way President Kennedy wanted it, Cuba could engage in the same tactics'. The result was that Castro infiltrated teams of snipers into the US to kill Kennedy".

Morgan took the story to Jack Anderson and Drew Pearson. The story was then passed on to Earl Warren. He did not want anything to do with it and so the information was then passed to the FBI. When they failed to investigate the story Anderson wrote an article entitled "President Johnson is sitting on a political H-bomb" about Roselli's story. It has been suggested that Roselli started this story at the request of his friends in the Central Intelligence Agency in order to divert attention from the investigation being carried out by Jim Garrison.
(Source)

In 1975 Frank Church and his Select Committee on Intelligence Activities interviewed Roselli about his relationship with the secret services. It emerged from this interview that Roselli and fellow crime boss, Sam Giancana had taken part in talks with the CIA about the possibility of murdering Fidel Castro. Roselli also claimed that a CIA hit team that had been dispatched to Cuba had been "turned" and used to kill Kennedy.

The following year the Select Committee on Intelligence Activities decided to recall Roselli. Soon afterwards Fred Black called him and warned him that Santos Trafficante had taken out a contract on his life and that the "Cubans were after him".

In July 1976, Roselli left home in Florida to play golf. He never arrived at the golf course and ten days later his body was found floating in an oil drum in Miami's Dumfoundling Bay. He had been garroted. Roselli's legs had been sawed off and squashed into the drum with the rest of his body.

Jack Anderson, of the Washington Post, interviewed Roselli just before he was murdered. On 7th September, 1976, the newspaper reported Roselli as saying : "When Oswald was picked up, the underworld conspirators feared he would crack and disclose information that might lead to them. This almost certainly would have brought a massive US crackdown on the Mafia. So Jack Ruby was ordered to eliminate Oswald."

The House Select Committee on Assassinations managed to obtain the records of an FBI wire tap on Santos Trafficante. On the tape Trafficante was heard to say "now only two people know who killed Kennedy and they aren't talking."

In an interview in April, 1992, Tosh Plumlee claimed that Roselli had been killed because he knew too much about JM WAVE, Operation Mongoose, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

George de Mohrenschildt:
George was a man who allegedly ended up befrinding in Dallas, quite possibly because of his connections to him as well as other members of people on this list, he was then to be called to the House Assassinations Committee. In fact, merely 2 hours before his death an investigator from the committee came to interview him but De Mohrenschildt was nowhere to be seen.

He was then found dead of a gunshot wound, one which was claimed to have been from himself via suicide, in March 1977. In a manuscript found afterwards though, de Mohrenschildt very much supported Oswald's view of himself as being a patsy which is a potential motive for his deahmaybe?

George de Mohrenschildt was recalled to America to testify before the Warren Commission. He was asked about the claim of Marina Oswald that he knew about Oswald's attempt to kill General Edwin Walker. After giving evidence he returned to Haiti.

On 5th September 1976 De Mohrenschildt sent a message to George H. W. Bush, who was at that time director of the CIA: "Maybe you will be able to bring a solution to the hopeless situation I find myself in. My wife and I find ourselves surrounded by some vigilantes; our phone bugged; and we are being followed everywhere. Either FBI is involved in this or they do not want to accept my complaints. We are driven to insanity by the situation. I have been behaving like a damn fool ever since my daughter Nadya died from (cystic fibrosis) over three years ago. I tried to write, stupidly and unsuccessfully, about Lee H Oswald and must have angered a lot of people I do not know. But to punish an elderly man like myself and my highly nervous and sick wife is really too much. Could you do something to remove the net around us? This will be my last request for help and I will not annoy you any more."

Two months later George de Mohrenschildt was committed to a mental institution. According to his wife, Jeanne de Mohrenschildt, he was suffering from depression. He was taken to Parkland Hospital and underwent electroshock therapy.

In February 1977, Willem Oltmans, met George de Mohrenschildt at the library of Bishop College in Dallas, where he taught French. Oltmans later told the House Select Committee on Assassinations: "I couldn't believe my eyes. The man had changed drastically... he was nervous, trembling. It was a scared, a very, very scared person I saw. I was absolutely shocked, because I knew de Mohrenschildt as a man who wins tennis matches, who is always suntanned, who jogs every morning, who is as healthy as a bull."

According to Willem Oltmans, he confessed to being involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. "I am responsible. I feel responsible for the behaviour of Lee Harvey Oswald... because I guided him. I instructed him to set it up." Oltmans claimed that de Mohrenschildt had admitted serving as a middleman between Lee Harvey Oswald and H. L. Hunt in an assassination plot involving other Texas oilmen, anti-Castro Cubans, and elements of the FBI and CIA.

Oltmans told the HSCA: "He begged me to take him out of the country because they are after me." On 13th February 1977, Oltmans took de Mohrenschildt to his home in Amsterdam where they worked on his memoirs. Over the next few weeks de Mohrenschildt claimed he knew Jack Ruby and argued that Texas oilmen joined with intelligence operatives to arrange the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Willem Oltmans arranged for George de Mohrenschildt to meet a Dutch publisher and the head of Dutch national television. The two men then travelled to Brussels. When they arrived, Oltmans mentioned that an old friend of his, a Soviet diplomat, would be joining them a bit later for lunch. De Mohrenschildt said he wanted to take a short walk before lunch. Instead, he fled to a friend's house and after a few days he flew back to the United States. He later accused Oltmans of betraying him. Russ Baker suggests in his book Family of Secrets: "Perhaps, and this would be strictly conjecture, de Mohrenschildt saw what it meant that he, like Oswald, was being placed in the company of Soviets. He was being made out to be a Soviet agent himself. And once that happened, his ultimate fate was clear."

The House Select Committee on Assassinations were informed of George de Mohrenschildt's return to the United States and sent its investigator, Gaeton Fonzi, to find him. Fonzi discovered he was living with his daughter in Palm Beach. However, Fonzi was not the only person looking for de Mohrenschildt. On 15th March 1977 he had a meeting with Edward Jay Epstein that had been arranged by the Reader's Digest magazine. Epstein offered him $4,000 for a four-day interview.

On 27th March, 1977, George de Mohrenschildt arrived at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach and spent the day being interviewed by Epstein. According to Epstein, they spent the day talking about his life and career up until the late 1950s.

Two days later Edward Jay Epstein asked him about Lee Harvey Oswald. As he wrote in his diary: "Then, this morning, I asked him about why he, a socialite in Dallas, sought out Oswald, a defector. His explanation, if believed, put the assassination in a new and unnerving context. He said that although he had never been a paid employee of the CIA, he had "on occasion done favors" for CIA connected officials. In turn, they had helped in his business contacts overseas. By way of example, he pointed to the contract for a survey of the Yugoslavian coast awarded to him in 1957. He assumed his "CIA connections" had arranged it for him and he provided them with reports on the Yugoslav officials in whom they had expressed interest."

Epstein and de Mohrenschildt, broke for lunch and decided to meet again at 3 p.m. George De Mohrenschildt returned to his room where he found a card from Gaeton Fonzi, an investigator working for the House Select Committee on Assassinations. George De Mohrenschildt's body was found later that day. He had apparently committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth.

On 11th May, 1978, Jeanne de Mohrenschildt gave an interview to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where she said that she did not accept that her husband had committed suicide. She also said that she believed Lee Harvey Oswald was an agent of the United States, possibly of the CIA, and that she was convinced he did not kill John F. Kennedy. She then went onto say: "They may get me too, but I'm not afraid... It's about time somebody looked into this thing."

Charles Nicoletti:

Nicoletti was, much like de Mohrenschildt and some others mentioned, was said to appear before the Select House Committee on Assassinations concerning the death of JFK and much like de Mohrenschildt in particular, Nicoletti died under what was very suspicious circumstances, in fact it was, as far as I'm aware, the exact same day as de Mohrenschildt giving the impression that they are connected indeed..

He was found in a Chicago parking lot with three gun shot wounds to the back of his head/neck.

It was claimed that Nicoletti was not only involved in the assassination itself, but he may have been one of the assassins, possibly the assassin most believe was Oswald.

Charles Nicoletti was a leading figure in the Mafia in Chicago. He worked under Tony Accardo and Sam Giancana and got the reputation as an effective contract killer. He was also involved in the CIA plots to overthrow Fidel Castro in Cuba.

According to James Files, Nicoletti was one of the gunmen who took part in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

On 29th March, 1977, Charles Nicoletti was murdered in Chicago. He had been shot three times in the back of the head. George De Mohrenschildt died the same day. Both men were due to appear before the Select House Committee on Assassinations where they were to be asked about their involvement in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Carlos Prio Socarras:

Socarras was at one time the president of Cuba, but was deposed by a military coup led by Fulgencio Batista on March 10, 1952, Socarras then fled to America.

It was claimed that he was later involved in the controversial bay of pigs operation and had some information on the assasination of JFK. Because of this he was also wanted by the Select House Committee on Assassinations and like the previous 2 men mentioned Socarras was also seemingly assasinated himself, around the same time as Nicoletti and de Mohrenschildt! A mere 6 days after them in fact, something which is by far too close for comfort.

He found dying of gun shot wounds outside his home in Miami in April 1977. The official story was suicide but why would he do this outside his garage next to him home? It doesn't make sense

Carlos Prio Socarrás was born in Bahía Honda, Cuba on 14th July 1903. Prio became involved in politics while a law student at the University of Havana. He spent two years in prison for his anti-government activities. After his release he took part in the coup that deposed Gerardo Machado's dictatorship in 1933 and helped organize the Partido Revolucionario Cubano Auténtico.

In 1944 President Ramón Grau appointed him as his Minister of Labour. He became a popular minister and in 1948 he replaced Grau as president. However, he never kept his promise of removing the Mafia from Cuba. He also appeared to acquire considerable wealth during his period in government.

In 1952 elections the Cuban People's Party was expected to form the new government. During the election campaign General Fulgencio Batista, with the support of the armed forces, ousted Prio and took control of the country. Prio fled to the United States.

In 1953, Fidel Castro, with an armed group of 123 men and women, attacked the Moncada army barracks. The plan to overthrow Batista ended in disaster and although only eight were killed in the fighting, another eighty were murdered by the army after they were captured. Castro was lucky that the lieutenant who arrested him ignored orders to have him executed and instead delivered him to the nearest civilian prison.

Following considerable pressure from the Cuban population, Fulgencio Batista decided to release Fidel Castro after he had served only two years of his sentence. Batista also promised elections but when it became clear that they would not take place, Castro left for Mexico where he began to plan another attempt to overthrow the Cuban government. Prio used some of the money to support the efforts of Castro against the Batista regime. However, he broke with Castro after he gained power in 1959.

Prio worked as a property developer and businessman in Miami. It was claimed that Prio was involved in the Bay of Pigs operation. It was also suggested that he had information on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He was also linked in testimony with Jack Ruby and Frank Sturgis.

In 1977 Prio was wanted for questioning by the Select Committee on Assassinations. He was found dead from gunshot wounds on 5th April, 1977, outside the garage of his Miami Beach home. He died at the same time as George De Mohrenschildt and Charlie Nicoletti, two other men due to appear before the committee. Officially Carlos Prio committed suicide, however, in an article, Did the CIA kill Carlos Prio?, David Miller suggested in had been murdered.

Information above was obtained from this link but was wrote in my own writing apart from the clearly shown external material of course.

Here's a list of some more aptly named "Convenient Deaths" to ponder.

Now, make of it what you wish but IMHO there is absolutely no way that all of these individuals, especially the ones mentioned in the small list above could have all died from simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time or through mere accidents or whatever. Something most certainly went on here to shut these people up and to suppress the information they had. And information certainly seems to have been suppressed as the deaths of all these people are extremely convenient to those who were seemingly really involved and these same deats seriously hindered investigations.

I mean just take this quick snippet from the list above also for consideration which I find particuarly interesting.

Kennedy.
(Source)

Supposing this is in fact true, then it most definitely seems o point to the fact that people are being "killed off" for simply knowing too much. Also it mustn’t be forgotten that some on the list above even claimed an assassination was about to take place. Rose cheramie for example, and not long after it had occurred also which gives them a huge boost in credibility IMHO as it does indeed show they certainly had prior knowledge to the events that occurred on 22nd November 1963.

Anyway, that being so, let's move on and have a look at another area of immense importance concerning the assassination, this time it's an area which was actually involved in investigating the true events which took place. Or one would hope so anyway.

The Warren Commission

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/18da6871ed93.jpg[/atsimg]

It wasn't long after the assassination of JFK that It was decided by the new president, the only man who was to benefit from the assassination and the previous vice president, Lyndon B. Johnson, that there would quite simply Have to be an official report into the assassination and of course into all involved. Maybe this was to discover the true events, or maybe it was to win public support that he desperately needed all of a sudden, we'll never know but the commission was set up to ascertain, evaluate and report upon the facts relating to how the assassination could have occurred as well as address the "conspiracy theories" at the time of the now Late President John F. Kennedy.

The main individuals involved in achieving this are listed below.

Main members serving on the Warren Commission:

- Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United States, former Governor and attorney general of California, Chair;

- Richard B. Russell, Democratic Senator from Georgia and chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, former Governor of Georgia, and county attorney in that State;

- John Sherman Cooper, Republican Senator from Kentucky, former county and circuit judge in Kentucky, and United States Ambassador to India;

- Thomas Hale Boggs, Democratic Representative from Louisiana and majority whip in the House of Representatives;

- Gerald R. Ford, Republican Representative from Michigan and chairman of the House Republican Conference;

- Allen W. Dulles, lawyer and former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency;

- John J. McCloy, lawyer, former President of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and former United States High Commissioner for Germany.

- J. Lee Rankin, Appointed U.S. Solicitor General in 1956. He would spend his later years practicing law in New York City.

Almost a year after it was officially to begin, September 24, 1964 the 888 page report was finally concluded. From there time looking at the case though It claimed by the investigators that Oswald was the sole Assassin and he also acted alone. It claimed that the man who shot and killed Oswald, Jack Ruby, also acted alone in his actions. Something that has been heavily disputed over the years among many more criticisms that have been offered surrounding the Warren Commission, other such claims being the fact that the commission never explained how it was possible that bystander James Tague was injured during the shooting for example as he suffered a cut to his cheek from what was a bullet fragment (verified by authorities in the vicinity) despite the fact he was standing over 500 feet away from where Oswald was allegedly shooting from according to the warren Commission. Other claims were that the commission claimed Jack Ruby had absolutely no connections to the Mafia, something that was proven completely false by the HSCA (House Select Committee on Assassinations) and the fact that the commission also failed to take any witness testimonies from important witnesses when possible to name a few. Many witnesses were seemingly even ignored as they pointed to a grassy knoll shooter, not one just from the Texas school book depository building like the commission concludes.

The House Select Committee on Assassinations even submitted a report in 1979 criticising the report and even the performance of the FBI agents themselves as well as other agencies. The report also criticized what it characterized as the FBI's suspicious reluctance to thoroughly investigate the possibility of a conspiracy to assassinate the president. That being so, the facts are that the commission actually relied almost entirely on the FBI report, meaning for that reason alone and discounting the many theories as to why the commission may be wrong we should take the claims of supposed fact by the commission with a grain of salt indeed.

Also, here's another interesting link highlighting key points where the Warren Commission failed it's duties.

So here is what the Commission officially concluded in 1964:

1.) The shots which killed President Kennedy and wounded Governor Connally were fired from the sixth floor window at the southeast corner of the Texas School Book Depository.

2.) The weight of the evidence indicates that there were three shots fired.

3.) Although it is not necessary to any essential findings of the Commission to determine just which shot hit Governor Connally, there is very persuasive evidence from the experts to indicate that the same bullet which pierced the President's throat also caused Governor Connally's wounds. However, Governor Connally's testimony and certain other factors have given rise to some difference of opinion as to this probability but there is no question in the mind of any member of the Commission that all the shots which caused the President's and Governor Connally's wounds were fired from the sixth floor window of the Texas School Book Depository.

4.) The shots which killed President Kennedy and wounded Governor Connally were fired by Lee Harvey Oswald.

5.) Oswald killed Dallas Police Patrolman J. D. Tippit approximately 45 minutes after the assassination.

6.) Within 80 minutes of the assassination and 35 minutes of the Tippit killing Oswald resisted arrest at the theatre by attempting to shoot another Dallas police officer.

7.) The Commission has found no evidence that either Lee Harvey Oswald or Jack Ruby was part of any conspiracy, domestic or foreign, to assassinate President Kennedy.

8.) In its entire investigation the Commission has found no evidence of conspiracy, subversion, or disloyalty to the U.S. Government by any Federal, State, or local official.

9.) On the basis of the evidence before the Commission it concludes that, Oswald acted alone.

November 22nd 1963 - The Assassination of a President

The assassination of any president of any country at anytime was always going to be a highly debated, studied and of course highly traumatising experience, especially for those who were witness to the event. The assassination to president Kennedy however will be an event that will always stick out in people’s minds now. Reasoning for this is perhaps because it's still a relatively recent event, possibly because Kennedy among many was a popular figure (although he was most certainly not without his own enemies) or perhaps it was the sheer nature of the events afterwards such as a feeling of injustice that the man said to have been responsible was never fully punished as he himself was to then be shot down. It's all speculation of course but perhaps the true reasoning for this story sticking out in people’s minds and the continuation for the story to this day is because of the facts and the revelations that were to be revealed and discussed afterwards. Not to mention the sheer amount of holes in the stories by official and otherwise. Speaking of the investigation however, it must be noted that the assassination story from the Warren Commission, an investigation which set out to fairly determine the series of events which had occurred, was IMHO to completely fail it's duties seemingly leaving huge gaping holes for researchers and scholars to pick apart as well as many other discrepancies already mentioned previously.

Such gaping holes in the investigation that are worth a mention here is the fact that the single bullet theory for example, possibly the most debated factor in this entire case doesn't quite seem to fully explain all of Connelly’s injuries as well as the near fatal wound to Kennedy's back and throat. Not just that but after this, according to the Warren Commission, the bullet remained seemingly completely unharmed itself. An impossibility one would think surely?

Anyway, that will be discussed and looked at soon but another point I'd like to make is the amount of shooters that were present here as I believe, once again, something that differs to the official investigation and also something that has also been heavily debated over the years by many as according to the warren commission Oswald acted completely alone but yet again, simple facts tell us otherwise as photographic evidence as well as witness statements point towards a potential grassy knoll shooter or a shooter from another location even but not just from the Texas school book depository building at least. In fact something that seemingly backs this up is the people on the ground and their reaction to the shooting as not particularly long after the shooting to Kennedy had occurred, many people witness to the event actually raced up the grassy knoll itself in search of the shooter as shown in this image below. Many of them police officers also.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/c1f13cafdbc7.jpg[/atsimg]

So, if Oswald did in fact shoot the president on this day, It seems that he in no way acted alone as it's impossible to think he could have been in these 2 locations in the given time period delivering shots to Kennedy.

Now these are just a couple of points for further investigation that I thought I'd share here (I'll discuss them further soon) but what's also interesting is that while discussing people on the ground it seems the anomaly in the image above isn't the only anomaly that was to occur. In fact, something which we can clearly see from photographic evidence is there is also 2 more suspicious characters on the ground near the presidential motorcade prior to the shooting as the 2 men in question seemed to be signalling in some way as well as one of them looks to be speaking on what is a walkie talkie of some sort. The other of them then holding up an umbrella on what was a bright sunny day and as the motorcade was to pass by, the man with the walkie talkie makes a signal by pumping a fist in the air all the while the man with the umbrella pumps that n the air also. Possibly signalling to a shooter (s). (As shown in the images below)

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/f49ef25972fe.jpg[/atsimg]

Kennedy's own body guards were seemingly called back also prior to the shooting also, something which shouldn't have happened at all. Ever!

Also, and make of it what you will but Not one radio or television station actually picked up the assassination of JFK itself, Instead they were conveniently waiting for him and his motorcade further up the designated route at the Dallas Trade Mart as the location Kennedy was in at the exact time of the assassination wasn't deemed "important enough" for any live coverage. The members of the media who did indeed follow the motorcade (for obvious reasons) were actually at the rear as well. Out of view.

Now, maybe this was all a conspiracy or maybe something else much more explainable but the matter of the fact is, we shouldn't have a film of the events which in itself is quite convenient for those committing the act but maybe I' looking into it too much still. But, we luckily do have a film of the events and reasoning for that was down to members of the public attempting to capture even a glimpse of the president as he drove through the Dealey Plaza area. One citizen who did indeed capture the events was called Abraham Zapruder. A name which will forever be remembered in the case of the assassination as he was one of the few people to actually capture the events, and not just that, but possibly one of the only people to capture the entire series of events from Kennedy coming into elm street (into view), to the shooting itself and finally where the presidential limousine was to speed off in search of a hospital (completely leaving the scene of the crime) and all from a clear view location where we can see the fatal shot (although the shot to Kennedy's back and throat (in what was the same shot) are out of view).

The film by Zapruder was recorded on a Bell & Howell Zoomatic Director Series silent 8 mm film (see image of the camera below) and captured the entire series of events (as was mentioned) with the before shot scene, the present scene (in other words, the fatal shot) and of course the after shot which is of utmost importance when attempting to understand what truly happened here. Without it, the assassination simply wouldn't be seen as what it is today and we may not even be discussing it now.

Here is the camera that was used:

Bell & Howell 414PD

Here are the specifics of the camera used:

Camera Maker: Bell & Howell.

(Source)

The film, obviously after capturing the series of events later became commonly known as the "Zapruder film" and this short 26 second video later became quite possibly one of the most famous if not important homemade video's in all of American history, certainly one that helped in the investigation to understand the events that occurred here. The film also apparently became so famous that it's said to have become worth around sixteen million dollars in total. It's also claimed that an arbitration panel ordered the US government to pay $615,384 per second of film to Zapruder's heirs for giving the film to the National Archives as they later ended up selling it to Life Magazine and eventually the American Government although to this day I believe the Zapruder family still retains all showing rights to the film.

The Film lives up to its responsibility though, and it's apparent fee (
) as according to David R. Wrone, It most certainly does prove that the official report into the events occupied by the Warren Commission was completely false. Yet more evidence for it might I add...

Without fanfare, he concludes that more than three gunshots were fired from more than one direction and that most likely none were fired by alleged assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. If true, then JFK’s death was the result of a conspiracy, for the Commission’s non conspiracy conclusion requires a maximum of three shots and one gunman.

Wrone, however, does not speculate as to who actually shot JFK or why—or even if Oswald was involved. In fact, he is just as critical of the legion of conspiracy theorists as he is of the Warren Commission (which, he reveals, crushed dissent within its own ranks).

- But was the Zapruder film tampered with?

..According to Adrian Zapruder though, the film is very much an authentic piece of evidence, and something we can seriously trust and to be perfectly honest, that's not anything I'm going to disagree with at all. Facts are yes, the video he shot on that day is authentic..BUT is the video that we can see today the same film that he captured? That IMO is the real question here.

Well, firstly after capturing the events that occurred, I'm talking about the assassination of the president here, Zapruder reportedly went back to his work place, completely distraught and traumatised by what he had just seen in person, he then turned on the news to see the events unfolding and at one point after hearing word that the president was injured but not known how badly Zapruder was said to have said "I know he's dead," "...I saw his head explode like a firecracker. It was the worst thing I've ever seen. There's no way he could still be alive." Later that day a reporter of the name Harry McCormack went to Zapruder’s office, presumably after hearing he captured the shooting (as I believe this occurred to many of those with cameras) and eventually it was agreed that they would make copies of the film strictly for secret service use.

McCormick had offered $1,000 as well I believe but nothing was accepted right away. They was eventually escorted to a place where they could make copies of the film by a police officer before in total 3 copies were to be made. The film was previewed at the lab just after being developed. Sorrels the man with McCormich later came and picked up 2 of the copies. The film was then as far as I'm aware sold to LIFE Magazine and the original was also sold but I'm unsure of that exactly.

The next day, and the day after the assassination, Zapruder at the hands of a projector and a small room of secret service personnel as well as 1 reporter of the name Richard Stolley, whom was LIFE's Los Angeles Bureau Chief the film was to be shown for the first time, apparently the film had to be shown again and again as more people were turning up. At times Zapruder having to stop himself watching as the film was still incredibly shocking and traumatising for him. The original film was then sent to LIFE's Chicago plant, the copy to LIFE's New York offices. A duplicate was then to be made of the original and then sent to New York and shortly afterwards, rumour had it that LIFE had bought only the print rights to the film.

The next month in December the film was then requested by J. Edgar Hoover and then shortly after this the Warren Commission, aided by members of the FBI also, were to officially investigate the film leaving quite a big time limit to edit certain areas of the film. Something which was not impossible at the time by any means although it’s a big claim admittedly.

By this time as far as I know, Zapruder himself had only seen the entire film properly a couple of times as it was (as I mentioned) still traumatising for him to watch so it's not entirely out of the question to suggest that years later he could have been fooled by a good copy.

*WARNING: This is very graphic and It's advised that you DO NOT watch if you're squeamish*

This link will explain a lot better than I can how it's possible that the film was edited to edit out a potential 2 shots on the president at the time of the fatal head shot to his right temple at Dealey Plaza. Also explained is why the Zapruder film could be faked. It is certainly worth a look IMHO but keep the warning tag in mind as it's quite graphic imagery.

From the link above:

This seems to tell us that the shooter was in front of the car on the right side, on the “grassy knoll” (small hill) next to Elm Street. But the U.S. Government insisted that JFK was shot by just one man hiding in a building far behind the limousine.

Things get more complicated when we look at the film frame-by-frame. As the bullet hits, JFK’s head first moves forwards:

Something which is impossible as he is shown to have been hit in front and to the right temple producing a violent movement of the head in the opposite direction. The fact he moves forward first is a possible indication he was possibly shot from behind at around the same time as it's a relatively sharp movement forward and not something that is seemingly caused by a car slowing down.

And this...

This makes things confusing. There seemed to be three possible explanations:

1.) He was hit by two bullets at almost the same time (one from behind and then one from the front).

2.) He was hit from behind, and a jet of brain matter exploding from the front caused his head to recoil backwards.

3.) He was hit from behind and some sort of muscle reaction caused his head to fly backwards.

People tried to figure this out for three decades. Instead of clearing up the mystery, Zapruder’s film just made things more confusing.

In the 1990s, researchers started to realize that there was a fourth possible explanation. Zapruder’s film might also be a part of the lies and cover-up that agencies of the U.S. Government had weaved around the JFK assassination!

Scientists examined the Zapruder film. They found that, while most of it looks completely genuine, some of the images are impossible. They violate the laws of physics. They could not have come from Zapruder’s home movie camera.

Zapruder’s film is a very good forgery. It is almost perfect. Some mistakes took almost 40 years to find.

The scientists also proved that Zapruder’s film was not just changed a little bit. The whole film is a fake!

A movie film is just a strip of little photos (“frames”). The fake film was made by cutting and pasting real photos and film frames together to make new frames.

Because the Zapruder film is only 27 seconds long, less than 500 photos needed to be made. The forgers had almost a year to create them, before they were published. This was not difficult to do in 1963 and 1964. People had been creating high quality fake photos since the 1850s!
Here's the link again with the rest of what's wrote above.

Oh, and I haven't added the images from the link (above) as they are not for the fainthearted IMHO and I'd prefer people to choose for themselves if they'd like to see them as again, they can be quite graphic.

But yes, the anomaly mentioned above is intriguing and purely bizarre to say the least as upon being shot, Kennedy's head does indeed move forward (which is clearly shown in the link above) and then sharply backwards and to the left! An indication of a shot from behind and another shot from a different location ahead of him but in no way is it an indication of a single shot from behind by any stretch of the imagination IMO. Or possibly (as I have mentioned) it was the stopping or slowing down of the car from Greer (the driver) which created the sudden jolt forward and then the subsequent shot to the head causing it to violently move backwards and to the left like it did but like I said it doesn't seem to be backed up by much evidence as Kennedy himself moved forward at this point in what was quite a sharp movement forward.

(Personally, if it's not clear already, I don’t believe this theory but it is most definitely plausible as he did in fact seem to slow down at times. Something which was weird as he should have sped off after the first shot, a shot which he saw as he turned around and saw it himself.)

If Kennedy was shot twice in the head, it is likely it occurred when his limo pulled to the left and stopped for about two seconds. Some think it only slowed down. Either move was in contravention of official policy. The accepted version of the film shows the stop so sudden that the occupants were jolted forward. Those who study the Zapruder film closely believe this is what happened and point to the fact that driver William Greer’s two head turned faster than is humanly possible. Studies, using a tennis pro, indicate that Greer’s head turned twice as fast as humanly possible. That is to say a few frames must have been removed. There has also been a study of Frame 323, which must have been sloppily recreated because it includes a lamppost and sign that actually belong on another frame.
(Source)

Also, have a look at this image below as well which compares the Zapruder film from 1963 to the modern day seemingly showing that certain parts of the film seem to have been edited in some way or another. The images GIF images below show the anomaly of the lamppost and sign that was supposed to be in another frame allegedly. Oh and please remember, nothing has changed from then till now apart from what is mentioned in the external material above....

Notice that even the angle of the lamppost is completely wrong here.

*Try and concentrate on the background images such as the tree in the background or the wall to see that these images are indeed took from the exact same spot and please ignore the people and the cars etc....*

Image #1 - Too big to see effectively so please follow this link instead.

Image #2 - Too big to see effectively so please follow this link instead.

Further proof of tampering perhaps?

In regards to the sign though, I have to ask was it moved slightly to stop us from seeing the first shot that hit Kennedy in the back which was obstructed by the sign as we can clearly see from frame 222? and we can also see that Jackie is reacting to Kennedy at this point and Connally seems to be reacting to something also as his shoulder is starting to drop and he starts to move to the right and of course in frame 225 when we can firstly see Kennedy emerging from behind the sign he is also reacting as he starts to reach to his chest and has obviously stopped waving so he has undeniably been struck at this point which is conveniently behind the sign.

Was the Zapruder film tampered with?

Investigation of the shots fired and where they came from

- The magic bullet theory

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/e40f0439da2f.jpg[/atsimg]

The Magic bullet theory or the "single bullet theory" as it's sometimes known as was a conclusion straight from the (heavily disputed) Warren Commission. It claims that the injuries sustained by Kennedy (the shot to his back and throat) and also Connelly were from the exact same bullet. Wounds that occurred to both of the men through this one bullet are as follows:

According to the single-bullet theory, a three-centimeter-long copper-jacketed lead-core 6.5-millimeter rifle bullet fired from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository passed through President Kennedy’s neck and Governor Connally’s chest and wrist and embedded itself in the Governor’s thigh. If so, this bullet traversed 15 layers of clothing, 7 layers of skin, and approximately 15 inches of tissue, struck a necktie knot, removed 4 inches of rib, and shattered a radius bone.
(Source)

What's even more amazing about the bullet is the well known and often referred to trajectory of it, shown in the above image. (which is why it's commonly known as the "magic bullet."

But, I can't help wondering if this is in fact true or whether it's just an attempt at making the warren commission’s claims look even sillier than most believe them to be (which many are IMO) so I thought I would do some research and try and find it out myself and to be perfectly honest, I'm glad I did because my opinion on this theory has changed quite a lot. Whether it's true or not I don't know but I'm starting to believe in the single bullet theory myself and I also found this enlightening video explaining how the single bullet theory isn't as farfetched as one would think. Or as I certainly thought it was anyway, Or as some would want you to believe even:

Lining up the "magic" bullet

Main points of discussion in the above video:

- Quick explanation of the well known misunderstanding of the magic bullet theory as given by sceptics. (e.g. Bullet must have curved)

- Shows where most believe Connelly was sitting

- Shows his correct positioning (around 6 inches inboard)

- It also shows that instead of facing forwards like most believe, he was slightly to the right. (also shown in the Zapruder film

- Explains that most believe they (Kennedy and Connelly) were at the same height but this is also wrong. Connally was lower down as shown in the video.

In fact it's not only shown in the video above but it's also shown in this image below of the presidential limousine (I believe) not long after it was cleaned after the assassination. What's clearly shown is the heights of the back seat compared to the front seat.

- Shows the true trajectory of the bullet with the correct positions of the two men showing that the bullet could have struck them both where the warren commission’s claims.

Now this is where the shooting would have come from.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/967b299bbe0c.gif[/atsimg]

Here is the shooters supposed view from the Texas School Book depository building in computer recreation. Look at the angle of both Kennedy and Connally.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/b2d040a753e2.jpg[/atsimg]

From that angle, it doesn't seem as farfetched to assume the bullet could very well have hit Kennedy where the warren commission claims as well as hit Connally where it also claims (the right shoulder).

Here is the entire video where the image above is took from showing what the 3 shots may have looked like from Oswald’s view in computer recreation.

Kennedy assassination shooting sequence

Summary Isn't needed

Another such theory that tried to debunk the Single bullet theory is the very clearly shown bullet mark on the actual jacket that Kennedy himself was wearing during the assassination. If we are to believe it's the true bullet mark then it seemingly debunks the single bullet theory straight away as it appears to be too low down to have hit Kennedy where the Warren commission has claimed thus the theory is debunked. Oh and it's very clearly shown to be too low down to have exited his throat, specifically just below his Adams apple again where it's claimed it exited.

Now, to disprove this theory, here is the top he wore:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/098d4e82452b.jpg[/atsimg]

Now, the very fact that the bullet hole looks to be too low down is enough for some to believe the single bullet theory is impossible as the bullet clearly couldn't have exited his throat from this angle. But there is a theory which seems to explain away how the bullet mark could have been so low and the warren commission’s report still correct.

The theory is Kennedy's jacket was simply bunched up. Now, It's not a farfetched idea even though at first it does sound like one, or at least a typical excuse anyway or to me it does but it was something Kennedy is quite known for and it is quite plausible as show in these images below of the president.

Here are 2 images of him coming into elm street prior to being shot.

Concentrate on his jacket, specifically near his neck.

This photograph, allegedly taken at around the Zapruder Frame 161 and possibly around 3 and a half seconds before JFK emerges from behind the Stemmons freeway sign already in distress at being shot.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/6f0a445de1b2.jpg[/atsimg]

Here it is zoomed in. Notice how high it is now?

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/424ac22837fc.jpg[/atsimg]

A shot at this time would have most definitely caused a bullet hole to appear much lower than it originally was as his shirt was bunched up causing the illusion the bullet hole was further down.

Now, that we're still on the magic bullet theory, another thing that interests me a lot is the interesting circumstances in which they found the actual bullet itself, and of course the minimal amount of damage to it etc. which is IMHO where the truth telling starts to end as before it's certainly plausible and can be proven but now, allegedly, the very bullet causing all of this damage (the damage to Kennedy and Connelly) was almost completely unharmed itself. Its copper jacket was completely intact, The bullet's nose appeared normal and the tail was compressed laterally on one side. That's all.

To me it sounds very farfetched indeed, especially since the bullet was then found, quite conveniently, on the actual gurney of Connally in the corridor at the Parkland Memorial Hospital, in Dallas where both men were took to care for their injuries. Some say it was purposefully placed here, a claim which seems to be plausible IMHO. Well, at the very least It was rather convenient that the bullet fired supposedly by Oswald was to simply be found lying on a stretcher of one of the gunshot victims really after all isn't it? The person who found the bullet though was Mr. Darrell C. Tomlinson after moving some stretchers it was claims that the bullet simply just rolled out in front of him. He was then to call Mr. O.P. Wright to investigate also.

Wright was to later cause headaches for the FBI as they claimed that Wright in 1964 told them that the Bullet they was to show him later on after the finding was the bullet that he saw on that day in November, but Wright was to flat out deny this. He claims that he in fact told them it DID NOT look anything like the bullet that rolled out. So why would they lie about this I wonder?

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/52ef56bf4578.gif[/atsimg]

Well following this link may explain how many more were to lie, many of those lies in official reports in fact and also from high ranking officials and from those working at the hospital who saw the bullet and how it was changed over time..

In an interview in 1966. Before any photos were shown or he was asked for any description of #399 (what the bullet was officially known as), Wright said: “That bullet had a pointed tip.”

“Pointed tip?” Thompson asked.

“Yeah, I’ll show you. It was like this one here,” he said, reaching into his desk and pulling out the .30 calibre bullet pictured in Six Seconds.”

As Thompson described it in 1967, “I then showed him photographs of CE’s 399, 572 (the two ballistics comparison rounds from Oswald’s rifle), and 606 (revolver bullets), and he rejected all of these as resembling the bullet Tomlinson found on the stretcher. Half an hour later in the presence of two witnesses, he once again rejected the picture of 399 as resembling the bullet found on the stretcher.”

But according to the warren commission, a pointed tip styled bullet wasn't used so how could this have been what he saw? Unless it was changed.

Interesting to say the least but what does Connelly himself, one of the me shot believe about the magic bullet theory?

Autopsy notes show that the alleged exit would in the throat was higher than the supposed entry would in the back. How could that be? This magic bullet made seven wounds in two men and did not disintegrate. Another bullet, allegedly fired from the same gun, disintegrated in Kennedy’s head. John Connally maintained he was not hit by the same bullet that hit Kennedy. Nellie Connally saw Kennedy hit and then heard another shot that, she believed, hit her husband.

- How does "James Tague" fit into all of this?

James Tague, was one of the unlikely and lesser known "victims" of the events that were to occur at Dealey Plaza on this day as it's claimed he was also struck by a bullet, in his case it was a wound to the cheek. (The right cheek as far as I'm aware but there seems to be conflicting reports) Originally, he was simply driving through the area before meeting heavy traffic, presumably on account of the presidents presence, therefore he decided to head on out of his car and stand at Dealey Plaza around 520 feet from the Texas school book depository building (where the claimed shooter was) to catch a glimpse of him.

This is where Tague was standing exactly (clearly shown near/under the triple underpass)

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/10afcb1072d2.jpg[/atsimg]

Here is the curb in which he was standing at showing the bullet damage (as verified by authorities and then "experts" I believe)

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/2faf070390e6.jpg[/atsimg]

Authorities on site concluded that the marks to the curbs and to Tagues face were in fact from a bullet fragment.

But why is he important still? Why does it matter that Tague was here in the first place? Why does it matter that he was struck? Well the fact that Tague was injured here seems to be undeniable evidence that there was a 4th shot. A seemingly missed shot and Yes, a missed shot is nothing new really as according to the Warren Commission, the missed shot was the first shot fired by Oswald. Now, if that was the shot that injured Tague and caused the injuries to him, then it was an incredibly wild miss indeed as Kennedy was quite a distance away, (as I have mentioned) it was over 500 feet from where the shot would have come from. But facts are Tague apparently heard this shot as well which means it couldn't have been this one which caused his injuries. It was around Frame 161 I believe, which is when Kennedy stops waving and starts to look around when the shot was fired at which point Tague also heard the shot but (as far as I'm aware) had no reaction to any injuries meaning this wasn't the shot that struck him and the curb he was standing at.

Although I can't help but wonder at this point whether the shot that did miss its target could have ricocheted so much so that when it missed (whether it hit the streetlight or the tree which was possibly in its way causing the miss), that it ricocheted so much so that it head in Tague's direction which was further up ahead of Kennedy at this point I believe. In fact it could have been directly in front of him albeit quite a distance away, although there's no way to prove this. It's merely an observation and the fact he heard the shot and had no reaction to it on a physical level seems to prove this wrong also.

Like many other witnesses, Tague remembered hearing this first shot and likened it to a firecracker. Tague later testified that the first shot he recalled hearing occurred after the Presidential limousine had already completed the 120-degree slow turn from Houston Street onto Elm Street and then straightened out. The motorcade then proceeded towards him.
(Source)

But if it couldn't have been the first shot, which is very likely, then it means there must have been another shot. Possibly one at around the same time as another otherwise there would be reports of another shot (It's possible there was another shot fired at the same time as the fatal shot and 2 shots being fired at the same time could produce to some the sound of a single shot). In reality though all of this is just mere speculation and we may never know what really happened here so I won’t dwell on Tague too much. Instead I'll move on and concentrate on different aspects of the events which had occurred which are worthy of more discussion here.

Here is an interesting link about this section of the Assassination which may be worth a read though.

Please continue reading into the next post.

Thank you.

- A Grassy Knoll Shooter??

It appears, to me anyway (and I'd genuinely love for someone to really prove me wrong) that the first shot that struck Kennedy was genuine and it came from the Texas School Book Depository building yes? but it's the second shot to hit its target that really does intrigue me and that's what appears to me to be where conspiracy is in full flow because I'm quite far from being convinced that it came from a shooter in that same building as well as from the same shooter also. Now as to where it came from, well, there’s been a lot of speculation that's come about over the years, one such theory is the fatal shot came from a shooter actually situated almost in plain view, coming from the nearby Grassy knoll site.

Here is one such picture that possibly poured fuel onto the fire in regards to a potential grassy knoll shooter that I'd like to share.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/af9e69256b76.jpg[/atsimg]

Now, if you can't quite make out anything there then here it is cleaned up and from a slightly different angle...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/9ffd753a8713.jpg[/atsimg]

It's much easier to spot a potential figure, one possibly with a rifle it may seem as well, isn’t it?

Well, have a look at this new image, again cleaned up slightly and with roughly the same angle of the first unclear image above included:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/db168c3563c6.jpg[/atsimg]

Now, here is his exact position in regards to Kennedy's at the time of shooting and the 2 potential shooting points:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/9f65925f9c5a.jpg[/atsimg]

What the shot would have looked like from both Grassy Knoll positions.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/7ade8d92e976.jpg[/atsimg]

The one near the edge of the fences.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/45d945a34b2d.jpg[/atsimg]

And this image here further down.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/e374ddb0386d.jpg[/atsimg]

Here is yet another image showing how difficult it would be to spot anyone at the Grassy knoll position as well. And this person is stood in front of it, not behind it like the alleged assassin (s?) was supposed to be.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/5f5fcfc02506.jpg[/atsimg]

Now don't get me wrong, I know this in no way proves anything here at all, but it's interesting to say the least and it does show that there does seem to be someone in that position possibly with a rifle, and he would have had a relatively easy target to aim for here also. Yes, realistically, if a shooter was here then they would have a relatively short window to hit, but a very realistic window indeed and the shot to Kennedy does appear to have come from this exact direction also as his head moves away from this direction (violently to the left and backwards (after a forward movement indicating a shot from behind?) suggesting a shot from the grassy knoll) and let's not forget that it's well known that the driver did slow down around this time also, giving the shooter in this position more of an easier shot to aim for, so a skilled marksman should have no problem and I would even hazard a guess that even a man of Oswald’s shooting ability could even make this shot. (Although I'm suggesting no such thing still.
)

But anyway, since pictures alone prove nothing.....

In 1978 the House Select Committee on Assassinations ordered a fresh investigation of Dallas Police records. In March of that year they discovered a trunk that had been in the possession of the former intelligence director of the department. This included a dictabelt recording of transmissions by police on the day of the assassination. The House Select Committee on Assassinations commissioned two prominent acoustical experts (Dr. James Barger and Dr. Mark Weiss) to study the tape. They concluded that four shots were fired at President John F. Kennedy. The gap between the first and second shots was 1.66 seconds. The third shot took place 7.49 seconds later. The gap between this and the final shot was only 0.44 seconds. It was clear that the third and fourth shots could not have been fired gun.

After establishing where the police motorcycle that made the recording was at the time of the shooting, Barger and Weiss concluded that "with a probability of 95% or better" the third shot was fired from the grassy knoll. They were even able to state that the firing position was behind the picket fence, eight feet west of the corner. This was the very spot where S. M. Holland had claimed he has seen a puff of smoke after he had heard shots on the day Kennedy was killed. It was also the same spot where Phillip Willis' photograph appeared to show, according to computer analysis, "an adult person" standing behind a fence.
(Source)

Is this also evidence of the possibility of another missed shot that injured the unfortunate James Tague? It certainly does seem to show that Oswald, assuming he was the shooter, wasn't alone as firing 4 shots in the given time limit would be as far as I'm aware Impossible (prove me wrong otherwise). Another interesting point pointing to a grassy knoll shooter is the people who were on the ground at the time, specifically after shots were being fired and the presidents limousine was to speed away, people started to flock to this one area, many of them climbing the grassy knoll area, rushing up the hill to the picket fences and beyond, many of them policemen, all seemingly in search of the shooter that many of them claimed was there after hearing/seeing him or smoke and/or movement instead.

Now, if there was a grassy knoll shooter, you have to ask the question how did he find himself in this position? Well, according to a man named as Lee Bowers (a name which IMHO became very important), who was positioned in a 14-foot railroad tower that was located behind the parking lot to the rear of the grassy knoll, that around three cars it's believed came about to be situated in the car parking lot behind the grassy knoll location about half an hour prior to the assassination. Something was odd about this especially since the location was supposed to be completely closed off in preparation for the arrival of the president.

He also mentions that they seemed to be probing the surrounding area, the driver of the second car was talking into a microphone of some sorts (possibly communicating with the umbrella men perhaps as they were reported to have had walkie talkies and signalling seconds before the fatal shot) and two of the vehicles bore Goldwater-for-President bumper stickers and had out-of-state license plates, he told the warren commission.

Here's Lee Bowers in his own words concerning the events after the shooting:

Witness Lee Bowers

Main Discussion Points

- Immediately after shots were fired, the area was sealed off by Approx. 50 policemen within 3-5 minutes.

- Flash of light in vicinity of Grassy Knoll vicinity. Smoke also present.

- Purposefully Interrupted by Commission council before explaining the above and the possibility about hearing what the man on the walkie talkie was saying.

- 3 shots were fired, 1st shot (2 shots in seriously quick succession would sound like the same shot) then a pause, then 2 shots in fairly quick succession. (conflicting reports say some heard 2 shots near the beginning, others say 2 near the end. It seems as though there really was 4 shots IMO)

- Informed Police/FBI of the above but no further action was took.

Bowers was then to later die after being driven off the road by a “black vehicle”. He mentions shortly before passing away that he may have been drugged at this time. He also goes on to talk about possibly overhearing the suspicious men on the ground with the walkie talkies also which could have also contributed to his death. (Will discuss this soon)

Was it possible because of his belief of a grassy knoll shooter as well as revealing the men in the car park that he met his end because of his willingness to spread the information he had?

On 9th August, 1966, Lee Bowers was killed when his car left the road and crashed into a concrete abutment in Midlothian, Texas. Robert J. Groden later reported "Lee Bowers was heading west here on highway sixty-seven heading from Midlothian down to Cleburne and according to an eyewitness he was driven off the road by a black car. Drove him into this bridge abutment. He didn't die immediately, he held on for four hours and during that time he was talking to the ambulance people and told them that he felt he had been drugged when he stopped for coffee back there a few miles in Midlothian."
(Source)

Due to the suspicious circumstances, it wouldn't be a wild claim to suggest he was like many involved here, "silenced".

Some of the other witnesses that were witness to the grassy knoll position and a potential shooter:

Abraham Zapruder: Adrian Zapruder is best known for the Zapruder film, a homemade movie which captured the entire assassination of president John F. Kennedy. He filmed the events while standing on the grassy knoll and allegedly told the secret service that a shot had come from around the area behind him.

James Tague: Tague was standing near the triple underpass and was in a great position to see the grassy knoll as well as hear the shots incoming. He also claims there was definitely a shot from behind the grassy knoll area. When counsel suggested he might have simply heard, he replied, "there was no echo."

Jean Hill: Hill was standing on the south side of Elm Street and had an excellent view of the limousine and the grassy knoll in the background. "The shots," she said less than an hour after the shooting, "came from the hill--it was just east of the underpass."

Charles Brehm: Brehm was standing on the south side of Elm Street and was behind and to the left of the limousine when the fatal head shot occurred. Brehm saw a piece of Kennedy's skull blown backward and to the left by the fatal head shot. He told newsmen on November 22 that "the shots came from in front or beside the President."

William Newman: Newman and his wife were standing at the base of the grassy knoll and was therefore between the knoll and the limousine during the shooting. Both said the shots came from behind them.

Mary Woodward: She was to the left front of the grassy knoll. She said the shots came "from behind us and a little to the right," which would have been the knoll.

Maggie Brown: She, too, was standing to the left front of the knoll. The shots, she said, came from behind and to her right, i.e., from the knoll.

Jean Newman: Newman was standing between the Stemmons Freeway sign on Elm Street and the TSBD. She said, "The first impression I had was that the shots came from my right." The grassy knoll was on her right.

Aurelia Lorenzo: Like Brown and Woodward, she was standing to the left front of the knoll. She said shots came from a point to her right rear.

John Chism: Chism and his wife were standing beneath a freeway sign on Elm Street, with the grassy knoll behind him. He said that when the shots rang out, "I looked behind me." His wife, too, believed the shots came from behind them.

Bill Lovelady: Lovelady was standing on the front steps of the Texas School Book Depository Building (TSBD). He said sounds of shots came from "right there around that concrete little deal on that knoll." He told the FBI that he did not "at any time believe the shots had come from the Texas School Book Depository."

Sam Holland: Holland was standing on the parapet of the railway bridge that overlooked Elm Street. He said he was positive shots came from behind the wooden fence on the grassy knoll.

James L. Simmons: Simmons was on the triple underpass and thus was well positioned to hear the shots. Simmons said the sounds of the shots came "from the left and in front of us, toward the wooden fence" on the knoll.

Richard C. Dodd: Dodd was also standing on the triple underpass. Dodd said he heard shots come from the grassy knoll.

Lee Bowers: During the shooting, said Bowers, his attention was drawn to the area near the fence where he had seen the two men standing. Bowers reported that there was a "flash of light or smoke or something" that caused him to look at that spot.

O. V. Campbell: A TSBD employee. He said, "I heard shots being fired from a point which I thought was near the railroad tracks located over the viaduct on Elm Street."

Ron Boone: Boone, a deputy sheriff, searched the area behind the fence on the knoll a minute or two after the shooting because "several witnesses" had told him shots had been fired from that location.

Seymour Weitzman: Weitzman, another deputy sheriff, ran up the knoll moments after the shots rang out. A bystander told him that "a firecracker or shot had come from the other side of the fence" on the knoll.

Kenny O'Donnell: A close friend and aide of Kennedy, O'Donnell was seated in the follow-up car. He told former Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill during a private dinner that he was sure he had heard "two shots that came from behind the fence" on the knoll. When O'Neill noted that O'Donnell had not said this in his FBI statement, O'Donnell replied that he had in fact told this to the interviewing agents but that they reacted by saying he must have been imagining things. "So," O'Donnell continued, "I testified the way they wanted me to" (O'Neill 211). How many other witnesses were persuaded or pressured into "testifying the way they wanted me to"?

Dave Powers: Another Kennedy aide who was seated in the follow- up car. During the abovementioned dinner with Tip O'Neill, Powers confirmed O'Donnell's account of shots from the knoll.

Jesse Curry: Curry was the chief of the Dallas Police Department. Curry stated in his famous book on the assassination that he believed one of the shots came from in front of the limousine.

The list is longer but I’ll leave it there for now and if we are to believe that there was in fact a person on the grassy knoll and that a separate person did indeed deliver the fatal shot to Kennedy, the obvious question would be.... Who was the shooter?

- A look at James Files - The self confessed Grassy Knoll shooter

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/1d8521d187a5.jpg[/atsimg]

James E. Files, whether you believe him or not was/is the self confessed grassy knoll shooter and the man responsible (if you believe him) for delivering Kennedy's fatal head wound. Unlike most people involved with this case though, he's still alive today although as of right now (to this very day in fact I believe) he's currently serving time in prison for the attempted murder of a police officer in 1991. In total, he is serving a 30 year sentence.

Here is a (alleged) statement from the incarcerated James E. Files:

My name is James Files and I’d like to make a brief statement to be posted on this website to clear up a few things and to get the facts straight.

I was involved in The JFK Assassination, and the FBI has known about my involvement since 1964. It was the FBI that gave Joe West the information about me and my involvement in the Kennedy Assassination. Why they did this, I do not know.

Joe West made contact with me and then come to visit me and we became friends over a period of time. However, Joe West died before his agenda was completed. Joe West developed heart problems, had surgery, was recovering and was doing very well. How ever, he died shortly there after. I was informed by a reliable source from back East., that Joe’s medication had been tampered with and I was assured that Joe West had been murdered in order for his court case to die, where he was doing all with—in his power to have John F. Kennedy’s body exhumed.

When Joe West informed me that he was already in court trying to get JFK’s body exhumed, I explained to Joe West that his body was not burned at Arlington. I also explained to Joe West that he should enter new evidence in order to have a chance at getting the body exhumed. I explained to Joe West that the “Round that struck Kennedy in the head was a “Mercury Round” and that the trace of the “Mercury” would still be present, as Mercury takes forever to go away. So, there would still be a trace of mercury on the skull.

When Joe West died, I thought that the whole investigation would die with Joe’s Passing. However, this is where Robert Vernon enters the picture. Bob Vernon wants to complete Joe’s work to help his widow out. I did not intend to give an interview. It took Bob Vernon a couple of years to get me to agree to it. One of the biggest mistakes in my life that I have ever made. Had I not given this interview, I would have been a free man years ago. My first video, “Confession Of An Assassin,” released through “MPI” was to be my final interview.

I do not trust people to honor their word on anything at all.
There is One man in The Free world that I trust and this man has always kept his word, for he is a man of much honor. He is also my longest living friend and knows more about me than any other living human being. His name is Bruce P. Brychek. This man has never, not one time has broken his word to me about anything.

I have no ill feelings about the people I have dealt with who failed to keep their word with me. I just know not to do business with them again. As a person, they are nice to sit and chat with. But if they make you a promise, forget about it, they’ll never keep it. Other than that, they are nice people.

I wish to thank Ms. Ray for her hard work and for her being loyal to me through out the long years of getting the books to market, which at times seemed like a never ending project. She has endured a great deal of injustice and has been ridiculed for her association with me. Sent from Stateville prison Joliet, Illinois

Some of Files' Claims:

1.) He claims his real name was James Sutton, which he then officially changed to James Files in 1963.

2.) He had been employed as a agent in the CIA following his final discharge from his stint in the military.

3.) He had previously known Oswald prior to the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

4.) Lee Harvey Oswald didn't once fire a rifle on the day of the assassination.

5.) The other person responsible for taking the shot was a man called Charles Nicoletti, He was firing from the position most believe Oswald was situated in. (Dal-Tex building)

6.) Jack Ruby was also in Dealey Plaza during the assassination.

7.) Johnny Roselli only flew to Dallas as he was a part of a supposed CIA “abort team” which was instructed to call off the assassination.

8.) On the morning of the assassination Files actually met with Roselli and Nicoletti at Fort Worth and also these were the same men that Lee Bowers may have seen in the Grassy Knoll vicinity also?

9.) Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill Officer J.D. Tippit. Files hasn't revealed who he is.

10.) Files bit a gun shell casing & left it on the grassy knoll following his shot to Kennedy's right temple.

Here is an image of the actual gun casing found on the day seemingly backing up what he had claimed as it matches the description perfectly.

11.) His shot and Nicoletti’s shot hit President Kennedy’s head roughly at the same time as each other. Nicoletti hitting the back of his head and Files hitting his right temple.

12.) His shot was a custom-made wax-tipped mercury-filled round

13.) He & Oswald spent a few days together prior to the assassination testing weapons. No discussion of the assassination was ever undertaken by them both though.

14.) His first confession to the assassination was in 1994. At this time he was already serving prison time for the attempted murder of police officer David Ostertag.

15.) He did not voluntarily give his story, until the FBI gave him up.

Here is his interviewed confession from 2003:

Main points mentioned in the video above:

- Discusses how he came into contact with Joe West and how Joe west was also silenced (murdered).

- Confirms he was one of 2 shooters present on the day and he was situated on the grassy knoll area.

- Gave west information to give in court. He told him mercury would be found if Kennedy's body was exhumed as a mercury round was used on the fatal shooting by him.

- The case died along with west according to Files.

- Prisoners in his prison are "pacified"

- Kennedy had lots of enemies.

- End of video before all questions are asked.

And, here's another enlightening video,

James Files Confesses in JFK Assassination

Main points mentioned in the video above:

- Revision of warren commission official claims such as the lone assassin claim.

- "Without question there was more than 1 gun shooting at Dealey Plaza."

- Files' confession.

- Upon moving down elm street, Shots were fired from behind by (the assumed) Nicoletti as "he was the one in the building" According to Files.

- John Roselli was also present here.

- Even though the president was hit, the objective was a head shot thus the reason Files decided to take the final fatal shot as he aware he was shot but wasn't sure where.

- His objective was to only hit the president. "Nothing was to happen to Jackie."

- He fired hit shot roughly at the exact same time as Nicoletti had fired his own weapon.

- He claims he missed his original target as Nicoletti hit the president first which is what caused the presidents head to quickly move forward before files' shot to the right temple, thus causing the forward movement then the violent movement backwards and to the left.

- Oswald wasn't mentioned in the video above.

Now, if it's hard to believe his claim that 2 shots were fired in quick succession, something that Lee Bowers himself claims happened for example, both hitting Kennedy in the head (back and right temple) then please do read this link below which is from the hospital where Kennedy was taken to immediately after the shots were fired which seems to back up this claim. A claim that the Warren commission quickly dismissed.

If Kennedy was shot in the head from behind, why did the Parkland Hospital doctors all describe a large gaping wound in the rear of his head? They were mistaken, according to the Warren Commission, which relied on an autopsy report description of a "largely irregular defect" and a drawing which showed the large wound to be on the right side of the head. The autopsy report also firmly placed a small entrance wound low in the back of the head, just above and to the right of the external occipital protuberance.

The two differing descriptions turned into three when in 1968 an independent panel of experts reviewed the autopsy photos and X-rays, and declared that the entrance wound had been mis-measured at autopsy by about 4 inches! According to the Clark Panel, the entry was up in the cowlick.

The House Select Committee on Assassinations convened a nine-member panel of experts in the late 1970s which concurred with the Clark Panel on the location of the head wounds (while disputing other Clark Panel findings). The HSCA also for the first time interviewed many of those present at the autopsy who had witnessed the wounds, and elicited drawings from several of them. The HSCA then declared that "All of those interviewed who attended the autopsy corroborated the general location of the wounds as depicted in the [autopsy] photographs; none had differing accounts." The interviews themselves were not published.

When the HSCA's witness interviews and drawings were released in the early 1990s, they told a dramatically different story. Many of the autopsy witnesses had described a large rear head wound; in some accounts the wound also extended into the right side. The Assassination Records Review Board conducted its own interviews with a similar result.
(Source)

Seems that according to the people who were up close to the president, namely the people who were studying it and working on it trying to save his life all agree that there certainly was a wound to the rear of Kennedy's head and also to the right side. These same people all seem to claim that the bullet, from the magic bullet theory, was different when shown years later as well. This also seems to back up Files' claim that there was 2 shots fired at roughly the same time thus giving the impression it was a single shot, one striking the back of his head (shot from nicoletti and a shot to the right temple - shot from files).

What's even more intriguing, is this photograph below captured not long after the assassination, Is this the image of files walking away from the crime scene?? (the dark shadow figure in the distance)

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/6eba4a794d4f.jpg[/atsimg]

James Files:

"When that was over with I wasn't looking behind me to see who was coming or who was running. I remember that when the shots were fired and it was all over....nobody...nobody responded immediately...I don't care how fast they say the police acted, people were stopped...they were stunned...including the police officers. The police officers on the motorcycles, it took them, I'm going to say maybe ten seconds before they even responded to what was happening.

It was like everybody was waiting for someone to tell them what to do. And at that point I started to walk away. There had been a couple of people in the vicinity that I was in...I'm going to say probably 15 yards in front of me...close to the edge of the fence where I was at...and I was about 15 feet from the end of it...as I was walking away the police was running up the grassy knoll and other people and I know that these two men were turning people back. Who they were, I don't know...I didn't bother to turn and look back...I kept walking away."

This image seemingly proves that no one reacted straight away backing up what he says also.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/67fce3bbe96e.jpg[/atsimg]

And this one also. Keep an eye on the grassy knoll in the distance.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/7626863526ef.jpg[/atsimg]

It seems that Files does in fact seem to check out from where I am, and as far as I'm aware, everything he has said seems to ring true in some way or another and he even had a great shooting record as well as he was a former military man and was an excellent marksman, more than worthy of taking a shot on such as this so it seems very plausible he was involved as he says he was IMHO. Personally I just don't know though, he seems sketchy still and I have to wonder why he hasn't been silenced like the others for revealing all of this. I mean it's not like this information, if true, isn't important really is it?

I'd love to hear people’s opinions on Files because in all honesty I'm still not sure of him.

Anyway, moving on and having a look at other members present on the day and something we can see in the image above in fact, notice in the same picture as where we may be able to see Files walking away we can also see 2 more suspicious characters dubbed as the "Umbrella man" (UM man) and the "Dark Complected man" (DCM man).

- UM and DCM at Dealey Plaza

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/9a1ed2902059.gif[/atsimg]

The above picture, taken as far as I'm aware right after the shooting to President John F Kennedy seems, well IMO anyway, quite innocent indeed, but in reality though this rather innocent looking picture is no such thing at all. Something that is realized once digging deeper into who they are, what they did, why they may have done it and more.

Now, the matter of the fact is, these 2 characters were both present on the day of the assassination, something that’s well known already, but there suspicious behaviour on the day, particularly when the president is passing them is something that has seriously raised eyebrows over the years as in the Zapruder film as well as photographic evidence from one of the men in qustion we can clearly see what is an open umbrella yes? (image below) (Kennedy at this time already in great distress). Well that in itself is an odd thing to do (but not really something worth bringing up at first I agree bt when digging deeper it becomes clear) considering this is a bright sunny day in Texas and an umbrella is and never was needed.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/f49ef25972fe.jpg[/atsimg]

Now the fact his umbrella is open here, doesn't say much. What is interesting though is the fact that he can clearly be shown in the film and in photos opening his umbrella roughly at the exact moment Kennedy is coming into view ad then passing by. Then he seems to actually push it almost two feet into the air as soon s the president is passing and then once the fatal shot has been delivered, the umbrella is nowhere to be seen, he has lowered it and put it away at this time.

Now maybe it was just something used to Heckle the president, something I'm sure is certainly a likely thing to do but a couple of things which are also interesting, One being the man with the open umbrella being discussed here was the only person in Dealey Plaza with an open umbrella. No one else had one at all. The fact he opens it, pumps it in the air, the president is then shot, then the umbrella is gone is also an interesting series of events but yes again, not something that is impossible to be under normal circumstances. They are the actions of a signaller but not impossible he was a heckler still.

The man he seems to be with though also shows signs of being some sort of signaller as well and his suspicious behaviour is even more bizarre as the UM man and the fact he seems to have a walkie talkie with him also is even more cause for concern. But once the president is passing by he quickly raises his hand and turns it into a fist, then as soon as Kennedy is passing he also pumps it into the air. Moments later the president is shot in the head.

You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to find this odd behaviour really.

Now, please see this image also which shows the 2 men, who are clearly seen, this time from another angle as they are shown to be more spread out at this time, the umbrella man, suspected of heckling seemingly quite far away from Kennedy, the dark complected man (DCM) quite close to him for whatever reason.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/51f0ff33a677.gif[/atsimg]

The suggestion that they were signalling to shooters is plausible IMO, for at least the DCM anyway as he is closest to Kennedy, something that he would need to be as some suggest he was here as he was in charge of making a signal to shooters which suggest that more shots were needed. After all, according to Files, they're objective was a head shot and at the time he has his fist pumped in the air while there is a shot but no headshot, then a few seconds later a headshot has now struck.

This isn't all though, soon after the assassination, in this image below (that's been shown here previously) notice how the general public who were present here reacted to the events that occurred to JFK and compare it to the 2 men being discussed here...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/67fce3bbe96e.jpg[/atsimg]

Everyone but these 2 men seem to be in a panic, In fact to me, they look quite relaxed which is particularly odd as a shooting has just took place. The couple in the background behind them are even shielding their own children out of fear of more shots to come but the 2 men remain calm still relaxing at the roadside.

Even more suspicious behaviour was to follow though as not only can they both be seen possibly signalling in a way, but one of the men can also be seen with what looks a walkie talkie of all things (as has been mentioned previously).
(image below)

Above image: He is talking on what looks alot like some sort of walkie talkie. Who he's talking to or what the object is exactly is unknown.

Below image: As people are running up the grassy knoll area, seemingly looking for a shooter, he packs the object in his back pocket looking at them all running up to that location.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/cac33df1e104.jpg[/atsimg]

Assuming this was a walkie talkie after all, something which looks almost certain IMO, then you have to wonder who he was talking to? Something that I'm unsure of but someone may have heard them talking on it in fact, and I have to go back to a man I’ve already mentioned previously - Lee Bowers. He claimed before he died that he may have potentially captured what the man in the image above was saying on the suspected radio. He was seemingly stopped from discussing it though when he was in front of the warren commission for some reason. This is what he said exactly when talking to the Warren Commission lawyer Joseph Ball:

Mr. Bowers: Third car which entered the area, which was some seven or nine before the shooting, I believe was a 1961 or 1962 Chevrolet, four door Impala, white, [which] showed signs of being on the road. It was muddy up to the windows, [and] bore a similar out-of-state license to the first car I observed, occupied also by one white male.

Mr. Ball: What did it do?

Mr. Bowers: He spent a little more time in the area. He tried--he circled the area and probed one spot right at the tower in an attempt to get [his car into the stall] and was forced to back out some considerable distance, and slowly cruised down back towards the front of the School Depository Building.

Mr. Ball: Then did he leave?

Mr. Bowers: The last I saw of him he was pausing just about in--just above the assassination site.

According to some more of his testimony Bowers claims that the second of the three cars that he saw had a single white male who appeared to have some sort of Telephone or microphone at his disposal, not too dissimilar to the dark complected man it seems.

When asked to clarify upon this Bowers states: "He was holding something up to his mouth with one hand and he was driving with the other, and gave that appearance." (gave the appearance of some sort of microphone or telephone).

Bowers goes on to say that after the shooting, a mob of policemen converged on the spot where he saw two strange characters prior to the assassination. At this point, he decided to "[hold] off the trains until they could be examined, and there was some transients taken on at least one train."

Ball then seems to cut off Bowers from saying what else he had to say at this point:

Mr. Ball: I believe you have talked this over with me before your deposition was taken, haven't we?

Mr. Bowers: Yes.

Mr. Ball: Is there anything that you told me that I haven't asked you about that you think of?

Mr. Bowers: Nothing that I can recall.

What the "anything" is we simply don't know. Whether it be the pre-recorded testimony or the mysterious "deposition" of which there appears to be no record so who knows really but it's possibly important information indeed as it isn't mentioned in court and Ball is giving off the impression and of course it's something we don't know of! It's even possible that what was said by the man on the radio was picked up by Bowers also and that's what he was about to discuss as the radios used were seemingly designed not to be picked up by anything except (something that was unavoidable) someone in Bowers position working in the rail yard switching tower. (the external material below explains how he could have heard what was said)

Here is a statement according to the former CIA agent - Robert D Meadows

Former CIA contract agent Robert D. Morrow, In his frightening and detailed narrative, First Hand Knowledge--How I participated in the CIA-Mafia Murder of President Kennedy (1992, Shapolsky), may provide some insight. Morrow, an electronics expert, claims that in the summer of 1963, CIA head of Domestic Operations Officer Tracy Barnes, ordered him to procure four Mannlicher 7.35 rifles and four small radio transceivers.

My involvement with the plans to assassinate John F. Kennedy commenced at the end of June, 1963. On July 1, I was contacted by [CIA head of Domestic Operations Officer] Tracy Barnes. He requested that I purchase four Mannlicher 7.35 mm surplus rifles. According to Barnes, the rifles were available in the Baltimore area from Sunny's Supply Stores. Upon my agreement to make the purchase, Barnes requested that I alter the forepiece of each rifle so that the rifles could be dismantled, hidden and reassembled quickly. I thought this last request odd until I was informed that the rifles were to be used for a clandestine operation.

One day later I received a second phone call. It was [Eladio] del Valle calling from, I assumed, Miami. He asked me to supply him with four transceivers which were not detectable by any communications equipment then available on the market. Although his request seemed impossible, I told him that I had an idea which might fulfill his requirement. I could provide him with sub-miniaturized units whose operation would be confined to a range of fifty or one hundred kilohertz. To operate any sizable distance, the units would require an antenna at least several feet in length. A wire taped to the user's leg would easily suffice for this purpose. The set-up would not be pretty, but I could assure him that no one would be monitoring these low frequencies.

Del Valle then requested that I deliver the transceivers and the rifles to David Ferrie. I was surprised by Ferrie's involvement in the transaction. Barnes, in our previous conversation, had neither informed me that the rifles were being made for Clay Shaw in New Orleans nor that David Ferrie would be the person responsible for picking them up once I had completed the required alterations. Del Valle explained to me that the rifles and communications equipment were for his Free Cuba Committee, and that Clay and Ferrie were assisting him in the operation. I assured him that the equipment would be ready on time as I would immediately order the Motorola-made special transceiver units. Motorola was manufacturing the units for railroad communications equipment; they were relatively easy to secure. [emphasis added]

The radio transceivers for del Valle were more difficult to create than I had originally thought they'd be. An unusual amount of power was required for them to transmit over any significant distance. To solve this dilemma, I included an extra pack of four "D" type battery cells to be used for transmitting purposes only. The pack was plugged into the transceiver unit and could easily be carried in the user's pocket. Ironically, I later learned from del Valle that the transmission time was to be limited to five minutes, which meant my additional adjustments had been unnecessary.
(Source)

Del Valle then goes on to say:

"They had better be perfect, compadre. They are for Texas! ...Kennedy is going to get it in Dallas!" as they was seemingly having trouble with them.

And furthermore the radio equipment he chooses just happens to operate in the ultra-low frequency range that is shared with railroad communications equipment--the same sort of equipment Lee Bowers would have been familiar with in his job in the railroad switching tower.

Technically savvy readers will note that the frequency band of 50 - 100 kilohertz is extremely low in terms of conventional radio transmissions. A simple investigation has revealed that the only entities which are authorized by the FCC to use this range--other than railroad employees--are military submarines, who exploit the long-wave characteristics of the energy for long-range underwater communications.
(Source)

Possibly yet another motive for the death of Lee Bowers and more information that this man on the ground, whether it be him and the dark complected man who are involve or just the dark complected man himself who knows who was involved but the latter, more so than UM man seems to be connected to the assassination in some way or another. Possibly this is why he was signalling in the way he did, IMO since the objective was a headshot, this is why as (as I've mentioned this already) at the time of signalling there was no head shot, then after the signal it came about. After the assassination e simply walked away from here never to be seen again, as far as I’m aware.

- Changed Route?

What else I always found quite interesting is the possibility of a last minute motorcade route change. Allegedly, on the morning of the assassination, Files drove down to Fort Worth where he was to meet face to face with John Roselli, Jack Ruby and a man called Jim Brading. At the meeting Ruby is said to have handed Rosselli an envelope that contained Secret Service identifications and an updated motorcade route map of Dallas. (Please note that I will explain later that Ruby in the night before seemed to acquire the route in a meeting involving the vice president!) Was this letter below a rewrite of the updated route they were shown thus giving them beforehand knowledge of the best positions in which to act out the assassination? And was the route changed beforehand to adhere to the assassination?

Well, according to Files..

"Johnny Rosselli got in the car with me and we started back to Dallas. He opened the envelope up and there was identification in there for Secret Service people and we had a map in there of the exact motorcade route that would take it through Dealey Plaza. Johnny Rosselli said well they only made one change. That was when he informed me they was coming off of Main Street on to Elm or on to Houston there...they made the zig-zag, the little turn that they should have never made. But when they made that, it was the only change in it."
(Source)

Here is the map:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/832629067e94.gif[/atsimg]

Also, It must be asked but is it possible that these were the men that Lee Bowers saw in the parking lot behind the grassy knoll later on? He did mention that they were almost inspecting the surrounding area so it seems plausible, to me anyway, that after receiving this updated route, they then went to this location in which to scout it out and look for a great shooting position.

Well, assuming that they only received the information on the day of the assassination that is, which is particularly farfetched to me in all honesty. Not impossible though of course.

It was 1963 when Files was first recruited by Nicoletti, the year of the assassination. He was recruited specifically for the purpose of killing the president it seems as according to Files Nicoletti had personally told him "We are going to do Kennedy." Although it was a plan that was allegedly going to take place in Chicago and not Dallas but was eventually moved. In charge of such an operation was again, the well known name in the case of John F Kennedy's death, Sam Giancana as well as others like Roselli etc. Now, the person who was finally accused of being responsible though was also apparently involved here, Oswald, but according to Files he wasn't one of the shooters, in fact Oswald was atrocious with a gun anyway, instead his role here was to merely plant the Mannlicher Rifle and shells (allegedly used by Nicoletti) in the Texas Book Depository and to plant evidence to mislead everybody. Then I believe he was given a weapon and told to wait to shoot himself out of there. (Maybe it was simply a set up and he was a patsy like he claims after all)

It was also decided that Files would use his Remington Fireball gun, A gun that was given to him by a CIA controller - David Atlee Phillips and it was decided that he would shot from behind the fence on the Grassy Knoll. Prior to the shooting and Nicoletti would position himself in the Dal-Tex Building. Files believes that Nicoletti's bullets hit both John F. Kennedy and John Connally. However, Files claimed that his bullet was the one that finished off Kennedy although Nicoletti also hit him at this time in the back of the head. Files was allegedly then given around $30,000 for his role in the assassination.

I also found this interesting snippet explaining in better detail how his claim that this was the weapon he used and how it seems to fit perfectly with witness testimonies as well as it's ability for the job at hand.

Here it is:

Is the James Files story true? The weapon in question, a combination pistol-rifle would have been absolutely perfect for the short dimensions of Dealey Plaza. Especially concealment after the Assassination. Many witnesses thought a pistol had been fired/An Explosion had occurred. The location from which Files allegedly fired has been verified by Donald Thomas, the HSCA, and a peer reviewed British Science publication. Clearly there is a figure there in that precise spot in the Moorman Photo just to our right of a large tree the person is crouched with a possible barrel resting between the picket fence line....Jeff

It's possible that James Files story is "close" to the truth. The ammo available for the old 221 fireball was rifle ammo........The barrel of the Fireball pistol was too short to allow the slow burning rifle powder to burn completely. Consequently the unburned powder ignited when it hit the air at the muzzle....creating a hell of a boom and a fireball.... Recall that nearly all of the witnesses said they thought the loud "boom" was a railroad torpedo, a motorcycle backfire, or a cannon they had heard at football games.

Some folks say there is a fireball visible in some photos and several witnesses said they saw smoke on the G.K,

The wound on JFK's head is typical of the damage a Fireball pistol would inflict on a human head....

All of this tends to support James Files story that a Fireball pistol was one of the weapons used.

Here's another interesting link also showing some of files' claims about exactly what happened and how the events led up to the assassination that’s worth a look.

- The "3 tramps" and how are they important?

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/fd167fd3a113.gif[/atsimg]

Shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, many people on the ground and around the dealey plaza area were arrested for obvious reasons, the 3 men in question though were found in a boxcar in the area that Lee Bowers was covering I believe, the area he shut down himself in order to allow police in to investigate as it was claimed a shooter came from around this vicinity.

Upon being arrested and brought to jail for questioning as finding them in this area was seemingly enough to warrant such a thing they were soon to be released. In the ensuing years questions and suspicions began to arise about these men, questions such as if they truly were tramps why were they as well dressed and as clean shaven as they were for example? Not to mention that upon being arrested they were mysteriously released with absolutely no records of any kind. Not even a photograph of them or fingerprints. Something to me which seems very odd to do as the President of the Unites States had just been murdered.

Eventually the lost files were to be conveniently found again, although the year was 1989 long after they were arrested. According to the files the 3 men were Harold Doyle of Red Jacket, West Virginia; John F. Gedney, with no listed home address; and Gus W. Abrams, also with no listed home address. but and as far as I'm aware, the reasoning for bringing this out now was more convenient than it first seems to be. It seems that prior to these files being found it was starting to come about who the men really were. In fact one of them was called Charles Harrelson (the father of woody harrelson) who at the time been arrested for a separate assassination on a high court judge. In the ensuing years, the other two men, Chauncey Holt and Charles rogers were also claimed to have been the other two men. Chauncey Holt himself stating that he was one of the tramps and Harrelson and Rogers were the other two.

More claims of the men were then to come about though as E. Howard Hunt, a CIA station chief who was instrumental in the Bay of Pigs Invasion and another man named as Frank Sturgis. Another who was involved in the bay of pigs operation and someone who some have claimed was one of the shooters.

More names were to come but it seems that according to official reports, namely the House Select Committee on Assassinations which had forensic anthropologists study the photographic evidence conclude that E. Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis, Dan Carswell, Fred Lee Chapman, and other suspects were ruled out as being involved here. The Rockefeller Commission concluded that neither Hunt nor Frank Sturgis was even in Dallas on the day of the assassination.

It doesn't make much sense to me to dwell on this section very much though as the 3 men conspiracy theorists suspect of being the 3 tramps are conveniently no longer alive today as well as the fact that there is soo many conflicting reports on who these men could be or if they are even important at all so I'll move on but before I do so I'd like to share some of what Chauncey Holt claims about his involvement and how he claims to be one of the tramps arrested here, something that as far as I'm aware could very well be true.

If true though, then to me it seems to explain alot! Such as how Nicoletti himself got into Dallas, the 3 cars that Lee Bowers saw in the parking lot, the man on the walkie talkie etc.

Holt is best known for his confession of involvement in the JFK assassination. He testified that he drove with mob hitmen Charles Nicoletti and Leo Moceri to Dallas from the Grace Ranch in Arizona. The ranch was owned by Peter Licavoli and allegedly served as a base for CIA operations, drugs and gun smuggling. Holt was also carrying forged secret service badges and lapel pins to Dallas, on orders of his CIA contact Philip Twombly. Holt delivered the lapel pins and badges to anti-Castro Cuban exile Homer Echevarria. He also delivered handguns and ID's to Charles Harrelson on the parking lot of Dealey Plaza behind the grassy knoll. Harrelson, the father of actor Woody Harrelson, was a convicted hitman, who died in 2007 while serving a prison sentence for the 1979 murder of federal judge John H. Wood, Jr..

After the assassination, Holt, Harrelson and Rogers were apprehended from a boxcar in the railroad yard and detained by the Dallas Police. They were released the same afternoon. While they were escorted over Dealey Plaza, seven pictures were taken by press photographers. These pictures became known in history as "the three tramps". Holt related that during the Warren Commission, he and other CIA operatives involved in the Kennedy assassination, stayed in a luxurious CIA safehouse in Acapulco, owned by attorneys Frank Belcher and Joseph Ball. Joseph Ball served as senior counsel on the Warren Commission.

(Joseph Ball was I believe the man in charge of questioning Lee Bowers also.

According to the leading expert on forensic artistry the 3 tramps do seem to be the men Chauncey Holt claimed them to be also and not the men the officials would have us believe...

Lois Gibson is recorded in The Guinness Book of World Records as "The World's Most Successful Forensic Artist." Her sketches have helped law enforcement bring in over 1,062 criminals.

Like I said, it seems we'll never know as there so many conflicting reports here and the 3 men in question are no longer alive today.

- A look at Lee Harvey Oswald

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/3bed7f6a7b1b.jpg[/atsimg]

Lee Harvey Oswald, the man according to the warren commission was the sole mastermind behind the plot to kill President John F. Kennedy but as I've already mentioned (and hopefully shown well enough) I have some big issues with this conclusion and for a number of reasons. One of which being because Oswald himself wasn't great at firing a gun it seems, something he wouldn't have had much trouble with concerning the first shot possibly, but in regards to the second...I highly doubt it indeed especially from the distance mentioned (although I agree it's possible the shot could have come from there still) Secondly, the fact that he himself was shot down even after a night of interrogation where he was adamant of his innocence and claimed he was a patsy is enough evidence IMHO to be suspicious as he being shot, and especially after protesting his innocence for all of 13 hours points to the conclusion that somebody was worried Oswald knew too much information. Or yes, I agree, it could simply have been an angry member of the public taking the law into his own hands of course but that doesn't seem to be plausible to me, especially after the man who shot him was seemingly working with and knew him before the shooting also.

According to James Files though, Oswald was more than certainly to play a part in the assassination, something I can't find any fault in, but his job wasn't to assassinate anyone it seems and instead it was simply to plant the gun there as well as plant some evidence, that's all. And maybe be used as a patsy afterwards as (I could be wrong here) he was given a weapon and told to fire his way out of the building if necessary. When the president was shot, everyone had fled apart from Oswald as he was told to remain there thus making it seems as he was the one that delivered the shots but Whether you believe files or not it seems a more likely conclusion than the claims from the warren commission anyway.

But if he didn't shoot the president then why was he accused is the question I find I'm asking myself and the only answer I can think of is quite simply he would be an almost perfect candidate for it. That’s not to mention the possibility that he was being planned as a patsy before the shooting, I mean in his past he was a military man but not always for the United States despite being born there (New Orleans specifically), instead he first joined as a US marine All the while he remained interested in politics and became an outspoken supporter of Fidel Castro and his revolution in Cuba, then later in around 1959 I believe after acquiring a soviet citizenship and attempting to live there instead of in America, he was attending an interview in which he was told "He (Oswald) struck me as being a rather mixed-up young man of not great intellectual capacity or training, and somebody that the Soviet Union wouldn't certainly be much interested in." by Arline Mosby Three days later, Priscilla Johnson checked into the same hotel as Oswald. The following day she visited the American Embassy to pick up her mail (16th November, 1959). According to Johnson, John McVickar approached her and told her that "there's a guy in your hotel who wants to defect, and he won't talk to any of us here". She later told the Warren Commission: "John McVickar said she was refusing to talk to journalists. So I thought that it might be an exclusive, for one thing, and he was right in my hotel, for another." As Johnson was leaving the American Embassy McVickar told her "to remember she was an American."

Oswald agreed to be interviewed by Johnson. She later testified that they talked from between nine until one or two in the morning. Oswald told her: "Once having been assured by the Russians that I would not have to return to the United States, come what may, I assumed it would be safe for me to give my side of the story."
Johnson's article appeared in the Washington Evening Star. Surprisingly, the article did not include Oswald's threat to reveal radar secrets. Nor was it mentioned in any other article or book published by Johnson on Oswald. However, under oath before the Warren Commission she admitted that Oswald had told her that "he hoped his experience as a radar operator would make him more desirable to them (the Soviets)".

Upon being rejected by the soviets in regards to even staying in the country though, he attempted to commit suicide before he was finally allowed around a week after coming out of hospital. In January, 1960, Oswald was sent to Minsk where he was given work as an assembler at a radio and television factory. While there he met Marina Prusakova, a nineteen year old pharmacy worker, and in April 1960 the couple got married. Oswald soon got disillusioned with life in the Soviet Union and in June, 1962, he was given permission to take his wife and baby daughter to the United States.

After this I believe he stayed in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where his mother and brother was living at the time but was apparently staying with someone called Charles Murret and his wife Lillian. Murret himself was someone who had close connections with Sam Saia, one of the leaders of organized crime in New Orleans. Oswald then moved to New Orleans in April 1963, not long after though he was to be accused by his own wife of attempting to assassinate someone called General Edwin Walker, a right-wing political leader. She reported that she "asked him what happened, and he said that he just tried to shoot General Walker. I asked him who General Walker was. I mean how dare you to go and claim somebody's life, and he said "Well, what would you say if somebody got rid of Hitler at the right time? So if you don't know about General Walker, how can you speak up on his behalf?." Because he told me... he was something equal to what he called him a fascist." And once there he allegedly wrote to the Fair Play for Cuba Committee also and proposed "renting a small office at my own expense for the purpose of forming a FPCC branch here in New Orleans". Three days later, without waiting for a reply, Oswald ordered 1,000 copies of a handbill from a local printers. It read: "Hands Off Cuba! Join the Fair Play for Cuba Committee, New Orleans Charter Member Branch, Free Literature, Lectures, Everyone Welcome!"

Here is Oswald passing out the fliers:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/b8701d2f4959.jpg[/atsimg]

On 9th August, 1963, he was giving out his Fair Play for Cuba Committee leaflets when he became involved in a fight with Carlos Bringuier. Oswald was arrested and on 12th August, he was found guilty and fined $10 in total. While in prison he was allegedly visited by FBI agent, John L. Quigley. Five days later Oswald debated the issue of Fidel Castro and Cuba with Bringuier and Ed Butler on the Bill Stuckey Radio Show. Later that month Oswald was seen in the company of David Ferrie and Clay Shaw. Men heavily involved in the Assassination of Kennedy.

In September his wife decided to move to Dallas to have her second child all the while Oswald was trying to get a visa to visit Cuba. Once this was turned down he came to Dallas also in October where he was to meet a woman called Ruth Paine, who was friends with his wife and who then helped get him a job in the actual Texas School Book depository building, the building where shots to Kennedy had come from.

So to me, he really seem to fit the bill in terms of a patsy as his past at a first glance seems to say he could have an agenda against Americans, seemingly had connections to some of the other men involved in the assassination, seemingly could of had connections to other organized crime characters, had been arrested for crimes, was a somewhat anti-governmental figure let alone a somewhat anti-kennedy figure especially on the topic of Cuba. He was also proven to be in the texas school book depository building before the assassination as he was working there.

He is the perfect patsy and a patsy he most definitely is IMO.

Oswald press conference after the assassination

I can't find any longer videos than these unfortunately but they are worth a look still even though they are very short. In them Oswald claims to be a patsy and he also claims he shot nobody, whether he is telling the truth or not we don’t know for sure.

Oswald Hallway Interview 1

Oswald Hallway Interview 2

Oswald Hallway Interview 3

The man that was to then kill Oswald himself was a man named Jack Ruby and he more than certainly seems to have connections with Oswald and other members who were seemingly involved in the entire assassination of the president such as Roselli, nicoletti, Giancana as well as some CIA involvement. Ruby was said by some to be the go to guy in Dallas and could organise anything for anybody, Rose Cheramie is another who claimed to have even spotted Oswald in Ruby's nightclub prior to the assassination and before her own death as well as the presidents she claimed he would be shot.

Is it all true though, could Oswald, like he says, have been just a patsy here? Did Ruby kill him not out of anger of him shooting the president but to stop him revealing the truth?

Well first off, I want to take a look at the evidence pointing towards Oswald being involved here and firstly I want to look at the backyard photographs of him seemingly with a gun (specifically a rifle in his hand and a pistol on his waist) giving more reasons for the public to assume he is the culprit and ruining his credibility a great deal further. To this day in fact they are use against him as I’ve heard it myself.

- The backyard photos

Here is the famous backyard photos of him with the gun and here is why they are faked....

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/75f12a982829.jpg[/atsimg]

I'm just going to concentrate on these 2 images for the time being though,

Photo #2
[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/fb812bea96c4.jpg[/atsimg]

Well, first off, look at the peculiar angle at which Oswald is standing at,

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/f2f7e667c6cd.jpg[/atsimg]

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/4e5527e3c620.jpg[/atsimg]

In reality, If he really was standing at this angle (as shown above) then he simply wouldn't be able to stand up as I believe it, let alone being able to stay in that particular position for the benefit of a photograph.

More than this anomaly has been spotted though as looking at the pictures again, notice the shadow of Oswald in the background. They are different which is particularly weird since these photos were taken merely seconds apart from each other and from the same place, such a difference is subsequently an impossibility.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/cf70fb437b41.jpg[/atsimg]

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/6870420c81b9.jpg[/atsimg]

What's again quite weird and seems to show once again that these photos were not took seconds apart...If took at all in fact is the subtle facial differences...

Using this real life image of him in handcuffs notice his chin in particular.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/007c56014c47.jpg[/atsimg]

It's easier to see from these 2 angles perhaps...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/86d5760fc815.jpg[/atsimg]

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/769cc9d6a8cd.jpg[/atsimg]

Look at the chin of the image of Oswald in the backyard photos however...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/14bfa2ca4993.jpg[/atsimg]

They are completely different!

In the images of him in handcuffs he clearly shows what is known as a cleft chin but in the images of him in his back garden, the images suspected of being fake, he does not. It is clearly different as it's completely flat.

Notice how both chins in each photograph look the same also, well the same goes for everything else it seems.

These images will explain a lot better...

Here are the close up images of the faces in both picture 1 and picture 2...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/8c0a73386369.jpg[/atsimg]

Tilt the faces so they are both facing upright produces this result...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/bbcbf70b4f05.jpg[/atsimg]

Now finally, put the 2 faces in the exact same spot produces this particularly interesting result...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/a6e685b2b64c.jpg[/atsimg]

It's seemingly the same photograph of his face. The only difference is the mouth as it seems to be reversed in picture 2 from what I can see.

Oh, and even the facial shadow is the exact same in picture 1 and picture 2! Something which is impossible as his face in picture 2 is tilted and the shadow simply wouldn’t be in the same position.

Take a further look at the shadow under his nose in particular.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/88263e1f5a08.jpg[/atsimg]

The shadow staying in the exact same place all the while his head has moved proves it to be a forgery.

Photographic expert Jack White has studied these photographs for two decades and testified before the House Select Committee. His conclusion is that the photographs are fakes. His pointed findings include:

1) STANDING OFF CENTER: White concludes that Oswald is standing off center and outside the weight bearing alignment of his feet. A person could not stand in such a position.

2) PROPORTIONS: When the body proportions are brought into alignment from the knees to the head by adjusting the size of the photographs, one head is much larger than the other.

3) OVERALL BODY SHADOWS: Although the photos were supposed to have been taken just seconds apart, the overall body shadows in the photographs are all different. In 133-A the photograph has a 10 o'clock shadow, 133-B a 12 o'clock shadow and 133-C a 10 o'clock shadow again.

4) ARM AND ELBOWS: White said that the elbow is too high in one photograph and the elbow doesn't show up on the one photograph of the arm were Oswald is holding the rifle. This pose had been attempted to be duplicated but could not.

5) HANDS AND FINGERS: On the photographs the left hand and finger looks normal. Yet the right hand is missing fingernails and the hand looks stubby.

6) WATCH: The photographs reveal that Oswald is wearing a watch but all witnesses have stated that Oswald did not wear and didn't own a watch. No watch was found among the possessions of Oswald and he was not wearing one when he was arrested.

7) RIFLE: When the photographs are blown up to the actual height of Oswald that was 5'9", the rifle in the photograph is too long. When the rifle is adjusted in the photograph to it's proper length, Oswald's height is six inches too short.

8) SCOPE: White noted that in the photograph the rear end of the rifle scope is missing and pants wrinkles appear where the end of the scope is supposed to be.

9) FACE: The face shows Oswald with a flat chin but Oswald had a clift chin. There is a line that breaks up the grain of the photograph that runs across the chin that many say is where the cut took place to paste Oswald's face onto the photograph.

10) PHOTOGRAPHIC OVERLAY: When Mr. White took 133-A and 133-B and adjusted and overlayed them, nothing matched up which isn't suppose to happen with two slightly different poses. However, the faces on the two photographs did.

11) FACE SHADOWS: Both photos show the same V shaped shadow below the nose. However, on one of the photos Oswald's head is tilted but the shadow does not adjust for this tilt.

12) NECK SHADOWS: On one of the photos there is light on the right side of the neck but the same photo shows the rifle casting a shadow to this angle.

13) COLLAR SIZE: The collar size can be determined from the photograph using a mathematical formula which came out to size 16. Oswald wore a six 14 1/2 collar and all his clothes found among his personal belongings were in the 14.5 to 15 inch range.

14) BACKGROUNDS: White determined that one photograph had the top cropped off and the other photograph had the bottom cropped off which made the photos appear like they had been taken at slightly different locations. However, except for small fractions, everything lines up on both photographs when the two were compared. That is, the camera did not change position and the only way to do this would be with a tripod which was not used.

15) SMALL DIFFERENCES: For many months White was puzzled by the small differences he noted in the backgrounds but they were not off much. After looking at the photographs some more he determined that on the background of one, the camera appears to be slightly tilted. He then took another copy of the photo by tilting it on a board and everything came perfectly into alignment.
(Source)

And if that isn't enough, here is a photograph that was allegedly found over 20 years later in official police files of the backyard photos as they seemingly prove they have been tampered with.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/757bc56eb084.jpg[/atsimg]

The way that the photographs were found in the first place was even quite interesting from a conspiracy point of view.

The photographs were found at 2515 West Fifth Street in Irving, Texas, the home of the Paines. On two searches on the day of the assassination of this address, the Dallas police did not locate the photographs. However, another search was made the following day and it was this third search in which the Dallas police say they found the photos. But the two photos were never listed on inventory sheets of Oswald's possessions. Neither was the black shirt and the black pants that Oswald had on in the photographs ever located. Officially, two photographs but only one negative were found. Yet, Dallas police Gus Rose says that there were also two negatives. Until 1967, these photos were the only ones known to be of the backyard pose.
(Source)

Here's an ATS thread from 2008 discussing some of the discrepancies found in the newspaper Oswald was holding in the backyard photos that are really worth a look also.

Yet another anomaly regarding the backyard photos was the actual camera that took them in the first place.

Here is the alleged camera used:

Imperial 620 Duo Lens Camera

The Actual Camera that is said to have been used by Marina Oswald (wife of Lee),

The actual camera the alleged photographs were taken with was not found for several weeks but finally turned over by Robert Oswald, Oswald's brother. Oswald's brother said that he found the camera at the Paine home even though the Dallas police had searched the home several times for the camera. Robert said that the camera belonged to his brother Lee Oswald. This reflex camera was a very poor quality camera and Oswald was highly interested in photography. He owned several very expensive cameras and no one ever explained why he would use such a cheap camera for these photographs.

The Warren Commission said that the photos were taken by Marina Oswald, Oswald's wife, on March 31st, 1963 at the 214 W Neely address. The photos show a bright sunny day. But, a check on weather reports in the area that day reveal that it was cloudy and rainy all day.

Marina Oswald, doesn't even appear to remember much about this day as well, in fact the only information she seemingly can provide is it was a sunny day (something that seems to be incorrect according to the above link) and the camera was black (something which was incorrect as it was silver). It does strike me as odd though that her original claim was she only took 2 photographs, and at the time authorities agree but then the third photograph had turned up 15 years later. If she only remembers taking 2 photographs, then where did the third come from? Maybe a lapse in memory perhaps who knows?

But she does seem credible to me in all honesty still (could be wrong ofc.) and she was seemingly cooperative but over the years she seemingly began to very much so agree with the conspiracy theory angle, she eventually even claims this was a cover-up and Oswald was a patsy like he claimed he was.

Here is what she allegedly says in an interview in 1988 exactly:

''I'm not saying that Lee is innocent, that he didn't know about the conspiracy or was not a part of it, but I am saying he's not necessarily guilty of murder. At first, I thought that Jack Ruby (who killed Oswald two days after the assassination) was swayed by passion; all of America was grieving. But later, we found that he had connections with the underworld. Now, I think Lee was killed to keep his mouth shut.''

Then this a few years later once more:

"At the time of the assassination of this great president whom I loved, I was misled by the "evidence" presented to me by government authorities and I assisted in the conviction of Lee Harvey Oswald as the assassin. From the new information now available, I am now convinced that he was an FBI informant and believe that he did not kill President Kennedy."

Jim Marrs - ATS post - Marina Oswald

As Marina Oswald is in no way the person I know most about here, I thought I would direct to a very interesting post that explains a lot more about her and her credibility and one which can explain some information about her which I couldn't begin to try and share. Please read the link above on Jim Marrs' post concerning Marina Oswald.

- The assassin that was to be assassinated

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/0a70428bea35.jpg[/atsimg]

A few days after the assassination of John F. Kennedy as well as the arrest of the alleged culprit Lee Harvey Oswald another death was to occur, one which was to the assassin Oswald himself. He was being transported from the current jail he was being held at before being transported through the basement into a mob of journalists when at approximately 11:21 a.m. Jack Ruby, a Dallas night club owner and someone who had mafia connections as well as connections with Oswald, CIA/FBI and high ranking governmental official connections prior to the presidential assassination it had seemed simply jumped out of the crowd brandishing a pistol, one which he had no hesitation to use as he shot Oswald in the stomach wounding him fatally live on television in front of millions. Oswald later died in the same hospital Kennedy had 2 days before.

His reasoning for this seemed quite peculiar (possibly this was what really sparked off Ruby's suspiciousness in the first place) and it seemed to change overtime as after being arrested for the murder, he claimed that he was merely trying to avenge Kennedy's death and spare Jackie Kennedy the ordeal of going to trial etc. etc. in other words attempting to get himself a heroic styled persona but then later it began to change a few times. On one occasion he claimed it was just a spur of the moment type of thing that caused him to jump out of the crown, grab his handgun and pull the trigger. It's even claimed by some though that prior to the shooting he drove into town to take care of some money issues to an employee, walked to the local police station and left his dog in the car, something that if true doesn't seem like a spur of the moment type of thing at all.

The theory put forth by Frank Sheeran however tells a different story, It's claimed that Ruby was involved in the assassination of the president in the first place and after Oswald being caught Ruby was assigned the role of coordinating police officers loyal to Ruby to murder Oswald while he was in their custody as his connections made him suitable for such a job. Once this didn't happen Ruby was quite literally forced to do it himself by his superiors or he would pay with his own life. Presumably they were worried delicate secrets would be revealed thus motivation to permanently "silence him."

Jack Ruby was officially convicted of the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald on the November 24th, 1963.

A short while later though, Ruby, all the while in prison for the murder of Oswald seemingly and publicly began to give off subtle clues explaining that not all is as it seems, most certainly not as the warren commission would have you believe as in the video below for example it's not directly said but the notion of conspiracy is more than hinted at.

Google Video Link

Jack Ruby states in the video above: "The world will never know the true facts of what occurred, my motives. The people had, that had so much to gain and had such an ulterior motive for putting me in the position I'm in will never let the true facts come above board to the world"

(See rest of video)

He certainly seems to be saying here that not all is as it seems as we simply will never find out the truth and also possibly that the people who are involved in this conspiracy simply are too powerful to be challenged? Maybe so but he certainly seems to suggest a conspiracy here as he goes on to talk about people in high positions making him do this. He heavily hints at the vice president also later on in the video.

Now, he was seemingly more than willing to reveal the truth as well but only if he would be granted protection and be moved from Dallas to Washington to ensure this. He said his life was in danger in Dallas and he needed to be moved to Washington, in doing so he would reveal everything he knew. Earl Warren the man he allegedly told this to denied any such move and because of this, we'll never know the true events from Ruby now as he's no longer alive as he died of a pulmonary embolism in 1967. Shortly after the death of Oswald and Kennedy also, In fact it seems awfully close IMHO and it very much so sounds like he died quite conveniently before he could say the rest of what he knew, or what he claimed he knew. Ruby, the silencer of Oswald seemingly silenced himself, one of the first of many.

Here's an interesting link discussing how Ruby got into a position to have contact with mafia figures as well as information on the assassination and more.

- The death of Officer Tibbet?

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/cda832b09891.jpg[/atsimg]

Very few officers were not actually called into Dealey Plaza on the aftermath of the assassination of Kennedy, Tippit was one of those few chosen. Instead he was roughly in the vicinity of Oak Cliff I believe. After the assassination though, at approximately 1:15 pm he was seen talking to a man walking along East 10th Street, that man was to later shoot Tippit in cold blood.

Whether it's Oswald or not, we'll simply never know as anyone who could speak about this is no longer with us, well almost everyone (see files' statement below) but the witnesses who were around on the day were to then later identify that one man in particular as none other than Lee Harvey Oswald. Seemingly a case closed, Oswald Killed Tippit out of fear of being apprehended for the crime he just committed against the president, well that was the conclusion many seemed to believe but as always in the Kennedy case, there is far more to it than just that.

For one thing the witness statements gathered about this one incident in particular are nowhere near consistent with each other; some even claimed that there was more than one individual present here, not just a lone man faced against Tippet. Others claim that the description of Oswald (appearance not attire wise) as vastly different to that of the shooter, while others describe Oswald as no one other than the real culprit, although that could be down to nothing more than him being the most likeliest IMO.

One such witness was a Helen Markham. She claimed to have seen the shooting of Tippit but described the culprit as vastly different as he was "short and on the heavy side", and his hair was "bushy". Apparently though after seeing Oswald in a police lineup, he was now confirmed to be the culprit but this was after she had seen his photograph on television.

What's also quite interesting though is the fact that Tippit was shot with 4 bullets and 4 cartridge cases were then to be found. Now, this is odd because for this to happen the killer would’ve had to manually eject the cartridges themselves leaving a trail back to himself instead of attempting to get away. Why would he do this? Well, assuming Oswald was not the killer then a motive would've been to simply frame him, after all the four cartridge cases were traced to Oswald's revolver, although they were never matched to the bullets.

Also, when Oswald was arrested, his gun was seemingly full with a chamber of 6 bullets, now It would seem quite unlikely to say the least that Oswald would have murdered Tippit in cold blood and then stood there to eject the four from six spent shells, discarding them to the ground, and then to reload to replace the used ammunition. Indeed, the four shells found on the ground were far more consistent with being fired from an automatic weapon which ejects the spent cartridges.

According to James E. Files, the man who ended up killing Officor JD Tippet wasn't Oswald at all, Instead he was just framed for the murder but the man responsible is unknown to us but to Files (who hasn't revealed who he is), this man was brought in for another job, allegedly that job was to kill Oswald himself! According to Files, Tippet was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and stopped the wrong person. Oswald was the patsy and the patsy was supposed to die it seems.

Here's a picture of the man suspected of doing it as well as the interview Files did discussing him.

Q: Is the man still alive?

A: The man that killed J.D. Tippit is still alive. He was alive as of three years ago. I haven't talked to him in the past three years. Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill J.D. Tippit.(28) Because the man that killed a police officer that afternoon had come by my motel and told me...he said that things got messed up today he said and I killed a cop...and my remarks to that was well you did what you had to do and he left shortly thereafter.
(Source once more)

We may never know who he is but one thing was for sure In my mind, Oswald didn’t kill Tippet.

- CIA, the Mafia, LBJ, the overthrowing of the president and the patsy

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/3c3c66443159.jpg[/atsimg]

It was a crime which shook America and it was a crime that seemingly saw only one man benefit from it, that man was Lyndon B Johnson and In this final section of this thread I want to try and discuss the possible connection of LBJ - Lyndon B Johnson, otherwise known as the vice president of the united states of America at the time of Kennedy's presidency and how he himself may be heavily involved with getting rid of Kennedy for good. I also want to try and look at other motivations for such a thing and who may have given him a helping hand also.

Such people of suspicion are of course the mafia and the CIA. Possibly Johnson seeking out the help of the CIA in the first place who then sought out the help of the mafia and all those mentioned previously.

When looking at the history of Johnson and how he became to be in the position he was in i.e. the vice presidency, it seems to be filled with controversy as Kennedy himself wasn't even a fan of having him in office, in fact if anything, he didn't want him there at all.

In 1960, the democrats had just selected Kennedy as there candidate to fight for the presidency, Kennedy was inexperienced it seemed, he had only been in politics a very short while but his opponent on the other hand, Nixon, was the complete opposite in these regards. He was very experienced himself and had even served 8 years alone as a vice president also so drafting in someone of Johnsons experience seemed to make sense to some, something that Kennedy came round to also. He even reportedly was heard telling his own personal aide that: "I'm forty-three years old, I'm not going to die in office. So the vice presidency doesn't mean anything." so as far as he was concerned it didn't matter a great deal who the vice president was and he accepted him as his running mate.

It was seemingly wrong of Kennedy to dislike him though as some claim that without Johnson as the vice president Kennedy would simply never have won the election in the first place as it was his influence which had helped Kennedy gain the upper hand. Not to forget it's claimed that Johnson successfully managed to steak the election along with the help of Giancana who stole votes also helping in the important Illinois vote, the vote which secured the presidency.

Johnson was to become a man of whom was no stranger to the world of corruption and to the world of fixing elections as he allegedly did the same thing before as in 1948 in the us senate run. And shortly after the death of Kennedy a news article was being prepared to run a story which revealed many of Johnsons past corrupt activities, many of which would land him in jail. Instead of running this news article it ran a story about the Zapruder film instead.

As Johnson was now president, Life Magazine decided not to use the story concerning his corrupt activities. James Wagenvoord later recalled: "The LBJ/Baker piece was in the final editing stages and was scheduled to break in the issue of the magazine due out the week of November 24th (the magazine would have made it to the newsstands on November 26th or 27th). It had been prepared in relative secrecy by a small special editorial team. On Kennedy's death research files and all numbered copies of the nearly print-ready draft were gathered up by my boss (he had been the top editor on the team) and shredded. The issue that was to expose LBJ instead featured the Zapruder film."

On 17th January, 1964, the Senate Rules Committee voted to release to the public the secret testimony of Don B. Reynolds. Johnson responded by leaking information from Reynolds' FBI file to Drew Pearson and Jack Anderson. On 5th February, 1964, The Washington Post reported that Reynolds had lied about his academic success at West Point. The article also claimed that Reynolds had been a supporter of Joseph McCarthy and had accused business rivals of being secret members of the American Communist Party. It was also revealed that Reynolds had made anti-Semitic remarks while in Berlin in 1953.

A few weeks later the New York Times reported that Lyndon B. Johnson had used information from secret government documents to smear Don B. Reynolds. It also reported that Johnson's officials had been applying pressure on the editors of newspapers not to print information that had been disclosed by Reynolds in front of the Senate Rules Committee.

Before this was to occur though, before the assassination of the president I mean, something interesting happened. Something interesting that could have directly been motivation for the involvement of Lyndon B Johnson and motivation for the ousting of Kennedy, for good. It seems that Johnson wasn't the best vice president he possibly could've been as he failed to win much support for Kennedy in his time in office as well as persuade Congress for what was needed in the eyes of Kennedy. Then Johnson himself became involved in many corrupt dealings, (the external material occurred because of this) and because of these corrupt dealings, ones which seemed to be quite serious as they could potentially have landed him in jail, Johnson was more than likely on his way out. Especially as the source for delivering the news and information of these corrupt dealings came from no one other than the brother of the president.

"Beginning in later summer 1963 the magazine, based upon information fed from Bobby Kennedy and the Justice Department, had been developing a major newsbreak piece concerning Johnson and Bobby Baker. On publication Johnson would have been finished and off the 1964 ticket (reason the material was fed to us) and would probably have been facing prison time. At the time LIFE magazine was arguably the most important general news source in the US. The top management of Time Inc. was closely allied with the USA's various intelligence agencies and we were used after by the Kennedy Justice Department as a conduit to the public."

The fact that it was Robert Kennedy who was giving this information to Life Magazine suggests that John F. Kennedy intended to drop Johnson as his vice-president. This is supported by Evelyn Lincoln, Kennedy's secretary. In her book, Kennedy and Johnson (1968) she claimed that in November, 1963, Kennedy decided that because of the emerging Bobby Baker scandal he was going to drop Johnson as his running mate in the 1964 election. Kennedy told Lincoln that he was going to replace Johnson with Terry Sanford.
(Source)

This alone is reason to believe that Johnson could've had a hand in the assassination as he was known for corrupt dealings himself and he was about to be dropped from him position of vice presidency. And as far as I'm aware, Johnson was even the one who invited Kennedy to Dallas in the first place also. Some even have claimed, much later on after the assassination might I add, that Johnson was actually the mastermind behind this entire operation, not just someone who was involved. One of those people being the mistress of Johnson specifically during a 8F group meeting speaking on what she heard the night before the assassination of the president.

Here is the interview with Madeleine Duncan Brown, the mistress of Johnson:

From the video above:

The night before after coming out of the meeting "he was so angry." He grabbed Madeleine and told her "After tomorrow those SOB's will never embarrass me again, that's not a threat, that's a promise"

The next day, Kennedy was assassinated.

"He referred to them as the Irish Mafia" IMO that indirectly is referring to Kennedy('s family?) as they were famously of Irish Descent.

Members present at the meeting according to Madeleine were figures such as J. Edgar Hoover, Clyde Tolson, John J. McCloy, Jack Ruby, George Brown (of Brown and Root), numerous mafia kingpins, several newspaper and TV reporters, Richard Nixon and maybe more but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Hoover being one of the men who were allegedly helping right from the beginning and also one of the men Kennedy seemingly had a feud with. Ruby was also present here. Madeleine describing him as the "in man" in Texas who could be trusted to arrange call girls, drugs, gambling fixes and even contract killings. The party began to wind down at around 11 o' clock when the attendees were shocked to witness the arrival of Lyndon Johnson who had travelled from Houston. Clint Murchison immediately called a meeting.

It seems that even a heavily involved member of the CIA was to blow the whistle also. That man being E. Howard Hun confirming Johnson as the culprit that was behind this entire operation shortly before his own death:

His confession live on air:

E. Howard Hunt, a former CIA agent who organized the Watergate break-in, earning him the name "plumber" states in his book, American Spy: My Secret History in the CIA, Watergate & Beyond, due out in April, that "LBJ had the money and the connections to manipulate the scenario in Dallas and is on record as having convinced JFK to make the appearance in the first place."

"He further tried unsuccessfully to engineer the passengers of each vehicle, trying to get his good buddy, Gov. [John] Connolly, to ride with him instead of in JFK's car – where...he would have been out of danger," writes Hunt.

Hunt concludes, "Having Kennedy liquidated, thus elevating himself to the presidency without having to work for it himself, could have been a very tempting and logical move on Johnson's part."

And here is what Jack Ruby says after being incarcerated himself: (video shown previously in this thread but holds relevance here also)

Google Video Link

Ruby in the video even says "When I mentioned about Adlai Stevenson, If he was the vice president there would never have been an assassination of our beloved president."

Reporter: "Would you explain again"?

Ruby: "Well, the answer is the man in office now"

That is seemingly a direct hint at Johnsons involvement IMO especially as just before he says this above the vice president is mentioned.

But what truly happened here is quite possibly someone we'll just never know, whether the vice president was the real man behind the entire assassination operation and is the man responsible for ridding the world of Kennedy, something I do personally believe in, we'll sadly never know as Ruby himself states those in power will never let the true facts come to surface.

The fact that the people mentioned in this thread though, many of which were CIA officials or officials in high places concerning the assassination or in government have claimed such a thing, one of whom was almost on his deathbed and the fact that today we still don't fully know what truly happened here is enough evidence to prove such a thing.

We'll never know and all we can do sadly is speculate as to what we think may have happened. That being so and personally, I really don't think it's a stretch of the imagination to suggest conspiracy here, especially after taking into consideration everything I've mentioned previously in this thread. Actually I think to suggest everything was otherwise normal here and Oswald was the lone assassin and all the witnesses who seemed to prematurely pass away before key events concerning finding the truth about what happened here was just coincidence and being simply unlucky is what's really a stretch of the imagination to say the least. There really just appears to be too much pointing at a conspiracy angle from where I can see, more so than I have probably seen in any other case I’ve researched myself.

Whether you believe this to be a conspiracy or not though I do not know, but in my personal opinion I find it hard not to suggest and believe in such a thing here. Whether you believe in it or not, or whether you think this is a conspiracy worth further discussion or just a load of rubbish, either way, I appreciate any and all for taking the time to read this thread.

Thank you.

Any thoughts on the subject?

Whew, S&F just for the effort you put into that thread..
Some graet info.I have read and seen quite a bit about this but thats the first I've heard about possible tampering with the film...Mind you, they didnt do a good job if thats the case because the film still leaves more questions than it answers..
IMO the "magic bullet" is just not on.. Multiple shooters and shots is..

Great thread though, next thread about what happened after? Tampering with JFK's body etc?
Bush jnr's involvement?

Interesting that you would mention that in particular because yesterday when I was trying to finish this thread, I was thinking about maybe doing a separate thread in the future on some of the areas I couldn't give too much attention to (mainly because If I did give them the attention they deserved then the thread would be double the size
). So yeah, I might do a part 2 when I have the time and maybe talk about what you said as well as maybe Marilyn Monroe's involvement and the suspicious circumstances on how she died which is really interesting IMO (see Dorothy Killgallen to see what I mean).

Not sure though yet.

This thread is frankly in a league of its own....WOW !!

I think the reason many members possibly haven't replied yet, is certainly not through lack of interest or opinion, but because the information provided here is incredibly extensive and will take quite a while to read and absorb !

Its all just mindblowing !!

It does seem evident that Oswald was indeed a Patsy, maybe even under some form of mind control even ??
I really need time to read the whole thread

Mmmm, give me a couple of weeks ......

It's definitely possible but the best theory I've heard (IMO) states that Oswald was told to prepare for a shootout, thus the reason he was given a gun in the first place as his alleged job was to merely plant a gun for the shooter in the Texas school book depository building where Oswald worked which he then did and after the shooting (possibly by Charlie Nicoletti) all involved fled the scene as quickly as possible leaving Oswald on his own giving the impression to the authorities on the ground that he was without doubt the shooter.

That's why he was found with a gun and why he was allegedly seen hiding and acting suspiciously after the assassination.

Just a theory Of course but it seems to make sense to me.

Mmmm, give me a couple of weeks ......

Oh, now you're just exxagerating!

2.) He was hit from behind, and a jet of brain matter exploding from the front caused his head to recoil backwards.

On this note....this is not something one should put a lot of stock in. The force of round hitting any mass has 10 times the force on impact as it does coming out the other side. His head went backwords becouse he was shot form the front. And certainly on an object like the head that is hinged on the neckbones there is zero resistance.

I shot a deer once looking right at me face on head in line with the rest of the body. The round hit the dear in the mouth and went out the back of head. The force snaped the head back like lightning and then fliped the deers body end over end backwards. There is simply not enough force whatever to move the head back to front. In fact the bullet is long gone whiel the head is still moving back in a HV round. The force applied on the mass is to great to be countered by the exit force idea.

These aren't my words, in the thread they are clearly shown to be used in the "external material" bb code.

I'm not sure if you was aware of this after reading your post but originally his head moved forward and then backwards and to the left.

Reasoning for this is where the debate comes from.

I thought I could read this during my 15 minute mid-morning break... I went overboard by about 30 minutes and I still don't think I read it all properly. That's a bloody huge write up but you brought up some fairly interesting points! I also found some things I didn't agree with, but they were minimal.

I'll bring my dissecting scissors later to have a go at some of your theories later!

Good work! Bravo.

Anyone who studies the JFK assassination knows that there were a number of things wrong with the "official version" of the Warren Commission, which now stands discredited. We now know that even some of the members of the panel like Richard Russell and Hale Boggs thought its conclusions were so flawed that they were reluctant to sign it.

1) The CIA later admitted that it had given Lee Harvey Oswald training starting in 1957. When he defected to Russia in 1959, he was on an assignment for the CIA. The declassified document is right here, and this alone totally destroys the whole theory that he was a Communist who killed JFK for ideological reasons:

Joseph Milteer, a KKK member and Right-wing extremist, knew in advance that JFK would be assassinated and was in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Why was he not even investigated?

Marina Oswald stated that her husband was an FBI informer, whose job was to inflitrate Right-wing extremist groups in the US. That's why he was in New Orleans with Bannister, Ferrie, Shaw and the rest. The Warren Commission also knew this, and that the FBI was paying him $200 per month, but kept it secret:

This evidence alone destroys the whole case of Oswald as the angry lone nut assassin, but there's a lot more than that.

E. Howard Hunt confessed to being involved in the assassination.

CIA operative Frank Sturgis confessed to being involved in the assassination, and even wrote a 22-page confession about what happened. Nothing ever happened to him at all, either:

Then there was the fact that John Connally did not believe he was struck by any of the bullets that hit JFK, and never changed his story on that, the fact that the Warren Commission was shown drawings of the autopsy that did not match the actual wounds on JFK, that the Dallas doctors knew his throat wound was an entrance wound, while the doctors at Bethesda never examined it at all.

We could go on and on here, but these points alone cast grave doubt about whether Oswald was even involved in the assassination at all, except to inform on the people actually involved in it. He was not even on the upper floors of the Book Depository buiodling when the shooting took place, although witnesses saw more than one man up there and possibly two shooters as well--at different windows.

One other item. Richard Nixon knew Jack Ruby going back to 1947, when he was also an FBI informer and worked for Nixon on the House Un-American Activities Committee.

This also paints a somewhat different picture of Ruby than is usually given in the official history.

Richard Nixon claimed to have left Dallas on November 22, 1963 before JFK arrived, and later had difficulty recalling exactly when he first heard about the assassination.

E. Howard Hunt gave at least five different stories about what he was doing on November 22, 1963, although as we all know he later ended up working for President Nixon. He was willing to pay Hunt $1 million in cash to keep him from talking about what he knew, although Hunt's wife later died mysteriously in a plane crash that also killed Hale Boggs.

No need to get into the fate of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King in 1968, or the near death experience of Ted Kennedy in 1969, or the shooting of George Wallace in 1972. Do I think those were all just coincidences? Once is a coincidence, but 1001 conicidences add up to an incidence in my book.

I looked at the flim in slow and see what the idea is, even the two bullet idea. I will say that a round pasing through the skull from any direction can casue pressure build up and part of the head to open even if not in the path. Saw a guy that was hit with 223 and the top of his head like a lid just popped off like a perfect bowl from pressure build in that split second. Here the skull seems to seperate along the natural skull plate lines.

The slight moving forward in the film in itself should of had some spray of its own. That slight move is really a long time in the life of a hv round. Mayby he was hit in the body from the left rear just before the hit to the front.

Thanks.
