BTS went 4-2 against ATS this week. That's a shocker.

Crazy half I've ever seen played by a QB. Love me some Vick!

I got him on my other 8-1 team...or should I say 9-1

Great way to beat your brother...with a QB that has more than half his points by himself!

I barely pulled out a win this week...and am embarrassed to say that I forgot to move two players back into the starting lineup...a combined 45 points on the bench.

If I had lost I would be kicking myself right now...

Stats have been updated: docs.google.com...

We had two records broken this week: Highest Single Game Player Point Total and Lowest Single Game Player Point Total. Michael Vick scored 49 points, breaking the old record of 45 held by Chris Johnson. The Kansas City Chiefs Defense scored -10 points, breaking the old record of -8 held by the New York Giants Defense.

That was quite an epic defense battle between URanus Sleepers and Team Ramrod this week:

Kansas City Chiefs Defense: -10
Washington Redskins Defense: -9

Good job, guys!

(I can't talk much... mine got -7)

Oz, I see what you mean about your luck... four of the seven teams that have beaten you, that game against you was their highest point total of the season so far (Senor Boognish, URanus Sleepers, Sardis Snakes, and Cuba Raft Riders). I don't think I've seen anyone else have that happen that frequently to them.

The (MN) value you see is the "magic number". For anyone unfamiliar with what it is, the magic number is used to indicate how close a team is to clinching a playoff spot. The formula for the magic number is: G (total games in regular season) + 1 - Wa (current win total by Team A) - Lb (current loss total by Team B).

If Team A wins and Team B loses, the magic number reduces by two. If Team A loses and Team B wins, the magic number does not change. If Team A and Team B both win or lose, the magic number reduces by one. Once the magic number has reached a value of zero, Team A has clinched a playoff spot. This does not mean Team B cannot make the playoffs, this simply means that they cannot take the place of Team A.

For the league playoffs race, "Team A" in the formula is whoever is in the top six places, while "Team B" in the formula is whoever is in seventh place. For the division title races, "Team A" in the formula is whoever is in first place, while "Team B" in the formula is whoever is in second place.

It looks like all the games are pretty much over this week. There are three of high importance, though. I have defeated Canadian Mod Squad to go to 8-3. Barring something like an injury to Philip Rivers and/or Antonio Gates, it looks like URanus Sleepers will move to 8-3 with a win over Crestline MemoryShock. It also looks as if Team Starry may hold on against Modern Americana. If that happens, Team Starry would move to 7-4 and Modern Americana would move to 9-2.

If these results hold, the division titles in both divisions will be between these four teams. Everyone else will be 3 games or more behind in their division with 3 games left and - even if tiebreakers go in their favor - would be extremely unlikely to win the division.

The season looks to be setting up for an exciting finish in the division title races!

Good work

I still hold high hope that all the players in the playoffs will be guilty of going to the future and picking good players, and it will be me and devo who battle it out for the title this year

Oh and Michael Vick will be revealed as flesh eating cyborg, hence his dramatic skill level increase

fingers crossed

That is the most impresive poitns output I've ever seen a any FFL I ever played in considering the way it awards the point which I believe is the fairest in the leagues I've played.

Good job!!! BTW early in the season I posted about the lack of scoring in our league and it turns out I think that I was due to past star players not performing and sleepers filling in for them... The scoring in our league has increase substantially as the season has progressed and most of us are doing an outstanding job picking the right players week in and week out.

Good job everyone for making it a very interesting season so far...
