I am not saying that this (conventional) theory is any better than yours - it merely makes more sense to myself.

I appreciate the input...and I can't decide myself which theory is the most likely...but so far I don't think my question has been satisfactorily answered, I'm still seeing an oddity...though I'm going to have to be off for a while, but I enjoyed the discussion.

Likewise It is always worthwhile to hear opinions not so ordinary. It tends to broaden the perspective, and thats one of the purposes of exchange of ideas, as I see it.
