Dancing soldiers video goes viral in Israel

uk.news.yahoo.com

A video showing Israel soldiers breaking into a dance while on duty in the West Bank has gone viral in Israel.
The video shows the soldiers stopping a patrol in the West Bank to dance to American electro-pop singer Kesha's hit "Tik Tok."

LMAO some humour in this section but also why has the troops' commanders have been informed. Going by the amount of US/UK video's on YouTube surely just video just shows a human side to the soilders and serving personell.

Apparently YouTube have removed it but it has made another appearence, again not sure what the problem is. It shows that regardless of what country you are from, we are human and we do like to have a laugh from time to time.

Are those really Israeli soldiers?, didnt think they had (or were allowed) a sense of humour like that. At first i thought it was maybe US/UK troops dressed in Israeli kit to mock them almost a propaganda stunt.

Loved the 'Meet The Spartans' touch at the end.

Well, PR or not, it looks like that was not the first time they had done that.
And yes that does look more like something we would see from the US/UK troops.
Hard to believe they're IDF.

I don't know about this... I don't generally have a thing against Israel, but I agree with the previous poster who said this is all a PR stunt; it's a poorly-executed one, at that.

I would prefer to think that any army's soldiers won't randomly break into dance routines during the middle of patrols, nor that they would actively flag each other with their weapons (the dude in the middle of the left-most column was muzzle flagging nearly everyone).

It's one thing when you see a bunch of soldiers in barracks making stupid videos. It's another when you see a bunch of soldiers in what looks like a full combat load stopping on the side of the road to dance. This wasn't properly thought out.

At least they don't dance on dead bodies.

I couldn't care less of stupid isreali military PM when they use children as human shield and break into ambassies and # on foreign flags.

If one googles dancing IDF soldiers etc. one would come up with a bunch of
videos of soldiers playing around. Not sure why this one is such a big deal?

I thought this one was funny - best part is the sing along.
Those two seem so young.
Just for the record, I hate this song! Lol.

ETA: the embedding is off, but the link will take ya to utube.

I've never seen anyone dance so well in that much military gear.

I'm impressed.
