BP considers changing company name into "Blackwater"

"Tony Hayward spoke to journalists yesterday, telling them that BP considers a name change for his company, since Blackwater changed its name to Xe (or Crusaders R Us).
He said the board considered this a good idea.

"It's the revolving door principle known from econo-political relations applied to corporate nomenclature! Swap positions on a semi-constant basis to confuse observers and deflect responsibility..." Mr. Hayward said.

A very smart, and necessary strategic move by the company though.

They could change their name to Joes Oil and they wouldnt fool anyone, not after this huge disaster.

"yea lets destroy the planet, then change our names so people dont know who it really is, oh, and make sure it has the irony involved in the name also, that would be awesome".

The above^ only works if nobody really knew who you were in the first place.

BP is marked for life, a zebra cant change its stripes.
