Yes, the smoke does tie in with the Mayans.

I have also been surprised at how many people I talk to that don't recognize the I-Ching symbol on the Dharma logo! The only thing constant is change. I love the way they use different timelines and alternate realities.

They have so many doors open, it's difficult to see where they will end up!

I also wasn't much of a fan towards the end of the 1st season. But my daughter forced me to keep going. I am very glad about that! This show is not to be missed.. by me at least.

Actually, there are two. One will be aired next Tuesday, and then the 2 and 1/2 hour long series finale will be the following Sunday.

I'll miss the show, besides the news its practically the only TV I watch!

Well you can always start again. Take my word, it's almost like watching a whole new show once you get as far as we have. You will see things you missed and it makes so much more sense.

Speaking of the most recent episode and symbolism...

There's a part where the one guy was pulling a stone from a wall to reveal the light, and he works extra hard just to get it cracked open a little, and then just rips the hole thing out.

The rock is shaped like a pyramid, and when he first got it opened a crack at the top, light shone through for a moment as if to highlight the top tier, and then he ripped the rock out ant the rest of the pyramid was "enlightened" in an instant.

I'm still a bit confused as to who's good and who's evil, so I'm having a hard time staying with all of it...

I agree.

Each episode I think I have it all figured out and then you see something like Jacob beating the crap out of people.

I am headed to TiVo right now to see the pyramid!

I think we can all agree on one thing...

The only reason to watch it, is Ben...

Below is my proof...you can not deny it.

As far as villains go, BEN YOU ARE BETTER THEN DARTH VADER!

Sacrificing "someone else's" daughter more like it!

That's my Ben.

I personally like to think that if it was his "actual daughter" that he would have marched right out there and took the gun and pistol whipped every mercenary on the island himself.
