This was a good article until I read this line and the paragraph below which elaborates the idea.

There it was the Jews. Here it will be the illegal immigrants and the blacks.

I don't believe this for a single second. Of course there radical racist groups out there, but I do not feel that the majority of people that are disillusioned with our government are in that boat.

I personally feel that once the # hits the fan - people will have an informed idea of whats wrong with our country and who is to blame, and it certainly won't be based on race.

It will hopefully be based on your level of collusion with the architects of this manufactured crisis.

As far as I can see obama has proven himself to be nothing more than complicit with those that are robbing the american people blind(wall street, the fed, irs)

Hopefully all these new taxes will be the straw the breaks the camels back.

What are people supposed to think if someone says ‘I have got an answer, we have an enemy’? There it was the Jews. Here it will be the illegal immigrants and the blacks.

I find this to be a very good article, but I can't help but point out the glaring IF in the above sentence. Hitler made no pretense that he was going after the Jews. Obviously after he was already in power and had gained popularity -- I'm generalizing here.

However, right now this country is dividing between Democrats and Republicans.

Frankly, I think that any person trying to make this about race is simply trying to take the attention away from Wsshington... away from the politicians.... and TRYING to focus it on the people....which frankly it's not.

People are outspoken about Obama mainly because he led such an extremely emotional campaign, that as people are disappointed, they are reacting emotionally. Which always creates a more intense situation.

Further, as many people are calling for Pelosi to be ousted, and she's as white as they come. And I have seen not one person claim it's because she's a woman...also considered a minority in this country.

I would just be leary of anyone, especially anyone influential, that tries to make this a racist movement. To me, it is most obviously a partisan issue as all Democrats are being villified and all Republicans are being called right-wing nutjobs. You don't have to be a certain color to be crazy in this country.

If the polls are accurate it is not the Republicans but the right-wing Republicans, the crazed Republicans, who will sweep the next election.”

Also, this sentence really bothered me. Notice how he added in the word "crazed". The last election that Republicans won was Scott Brown and Chris Christie. Neither one of those men are known to be outspoken or crazed. If Limbaugh had won and/or Beck.....I could see his point. But frankly, it makes me wonder if HE has an agenda for painting the would-be victors "crazed".

Noam is a linguist. There is no mistake or accident to his choice of words. He has spent far less time being a linguist than a political activist, in my view, and he has always worn his left wing agenda on his sleeve. This guy is easy to see coming. Regan fooled them all, the Bush's fooled everybody while many chuckled at their "stupidity" and labeled these clowns "right wingers", but in truth they were just Republicans and for those who believed they were conservatives they never saw it coming. Noam, on the other hand, unlike the Republicans I mentioned who were willing to play the fool in front of their political enemies, just has to be seen as a really, really, really, smart guy...and yet, easy to see coming. Sigh.

I don't think that's what he was saying.. I think what he was saying is that people are beginning to dislike both parties, and that there might be a power vacuum soon; if that vacuum gets filled by a rush limbaughite who doesn't just pay lip service to the extreme right's views, but actually believers/practices them, then we could be in for a whole lot of trouble.

Ok...so a vacuum can be filled by either or any extremist, or heaven forbid a moderate. I think that is where he shows his bias as being a far left wing individual. For the country to slip into a far right wing polarization than Obama would need to utterly fail on biblical proportions. The large unhappiness of Bush pushed a few percent in favor of Obama, and what he is talking about is extreme failure to push a large percentage of the population to an extreme side, and in this case he can only see a far right side.
