the area on ATS that tells how to do a "news snippet" i dont see it when im posting threads and i feel a little bit like an idiot.... And i am probly going to feel even stupider when i get the answer.... i already tried "snip, snip/" and "snippet. snippet/" with the appropriate symbols of greater than and less than of course.


Close and lock if you need to, i couldnt find by searching... i must be slow

I would like to know the same no idea how to do that.
I played around with all the buttons but im at the same point as you are hehe.

I found this video here on ats seems like u can only do the snipped thing while reating a new thread?

Look at the top banner. Right beside the log out button is one titled 'submit'.

I think that's what you're looking for.

I figured out how to do a snippet for a new thread when posticle an article. It's just that submit button on the right. But I haven't figured out how to do another one in an existing thread.

In an existing thread..you can post a part of the article using external quote tags.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Just be sure to link your source.

Thank you guys very much... And yes i was lookin for the tag for the Whitetish grey box that says "Snippit from news source..." which is the "news /news" tag
