After seeing all the controversy surrounding those school children who were singing a song about President Obama, I couldn't help but think this Scarface school play could be equally controversial. When I saw the play I seriously couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Here is the video:

Now I am not exactly sure the age of these kids, but I know for a fact they are not over 18. Why then are they acting out a rated R movie in a school play? Why not do a school play of a rated PG-13 or PG movie?

Here is some quoted lines from the little girl with the blond wig:

You do coke, and kill people, that's "wonderful" Tony...

...You son-of-a-B....

...I'm leaving you mother fudger...

Even though all the bad words are swapped with meaningless replacements, there is still reference to drugs and killing.....

Now, I do realize that some parents are less strict then others, and some parents will say "they will learn this sooner or later", but.... really?? Would you actually teach your kids this movie?

I think this is a bit too far, and the parents and school should be ridiculed. I'm sure I am not the only one shocked to see this video.

What do you think?

HOLY #$@#%!!!

Seriously...really?

REALLY!?

Thanks for posting this...I am so disturbed by this.

Holy...wow.

That is one sick collection of adults messing up a bunch of innocent children.

Terrifying.

Haaaaa! That's kind of awesome. I'm pretty impressed by the kids' acting. I couldn't have pulled any of that off at that age. Except maybe for the kid waaay in the back when they first start shooting.

I'm going to guess, from the lack of outrage from the audience, that this is fake in some way; just the parents, not an actual school. We need more information on this before we judge it.

Okay,Scarface is one of my favorite ficks of all time .....BUT...... this is wrong on so many levels. What the hell is wrong with people and the mom who posted the video?
I would flip out if my kids were in play like this.
Those are pretty young too, far less than 18 more like 9 or 10.

Star n flagged you.

This needs to be addressed on the news and investigated.

Someone call Glenn Beck and get him yelling about this or something.

Disgusting.

Wow! When I seen the title to this thread, I automatically assumed it would be for a high school... Now, I would see the logic behind a Scarface play at a high school - maybe trying to get the students involved in something other than drugs and what not, maybe trying to give them an incentive to participate in after-school activities...

But an elementary school!? What the H!?

Is this elementary school for gangsters in training?

I'm sickened by this, and hope that someone loses their job for it too.

What did you expect when pedophiles and perverts are in charge?

Soon you'll have kids acting out porn in the near future.

Society has already gone downwards, and now its going to the depths of hell.

I mean seriously, when the U.S. REFUSED to eradicate the poppy fields of Afghanistan and Russia called them out on it, where do you think society is heading?

It's all about money, drugs, and sex.

Dude, what? Pedophilia has nothing to do with this. Plus, why do you think pedophiles and perverts are in charge? I've never had a single experience of that variety, and I went to public schools for twelve years! (Skipped half of kindergarten.)

Maaan, that's been going on forever. It hasn't caused any particular social degradation. Just a whooole lot of hypocrisy.

This should be on the front page of ATS.

If you ever want to present proof to somebody that America is coming to an end... Just supply them with this video for their viewing pleasure.

I never understood the fascination with Scarface to begin with...

Unreal and absurd. Whoever is responsible for that should be locked up for a while.

Another sign of the times.

Mostly all of your reactions are exactly what I expected.

..but I have to ask myself why the parents and or audience watching the play didn't feel the same way as all of you?

I really want to know who's idea it was... maybe the excellent researchers here on ATS can find out more.

I found it entertaining, fascinating and silly.
I was not offended, but I can understand why someone with
better moral standards than I would be offended.

Anyone that hasn't figured it out yet, go look at the user profile of the person who posted this.

Really look at it.

Do you genuinely believe that a person who lists "The Passion of the Christ" as their only favorite movie, and Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue" as their only favorite book, would really join YouTube to post this video, and only this video, without thinking or mentioning that anything was off about it?

This is a fake. Those are real kids, who probably shouldn't be exposed to this sort of thing by anyone, but anyone who believes this was a real "school play", on zero evidence, and uses that as an excuse to start bashing Obama, needs to get their head checked.

The President wasn't responsible for this.

There wasn't even a school responsible for this.

It's just crappy parenting, and somebody making a lame joke.

You've all been duped.

Ummm, first off, who is bashing Obama? Nobody.... this has nothing to do with Obama. So, maybe you should get your head checked.

The only reason I even mentioned Obama was because of the "controversial" video of those school kids singing about Obama. Everyone was complaining about those kids singing about Obama and what they were teaching the kids, so I figured I would show them this video which I believe is far worse than singing a song about the President.

I agree that there is no "real" evidence that this is a school play, however, it is a play, these are kids who should still be in school, and when the play finished there was a whole group of people cheering and applauding.

It doesn't matter if this is school, or some drama class. These kids are too young to be memorizing lines from Scarface, a rated R movie.

The title of the video is called "Scareface School Play". I originally saw this video on Break.com:

www.break.com...

That was when I decided to post it on ATS to see what you people think. So I searched for the video on YouTube so I can embed the video into ATS with the tags.

Now, if you did a simple search for "Scarface School Play" on YouTube, you will see more than one person with this video.

YouTube Search "Scarface School Play".

I do not know the original up-loader, nor did I look for it. I just picked one and used it.

From the looks of it, this isn't fake. I don't see how it could be. It's a bunch of kids acting out Scarface in front of an audience. That alone is pretty horrible, even if it was for school or not.

So, yeah, I don't know what you are on about.

Oh, and by the way...

The lady in the video who pushes the shy kid out to go shoot the other kid in the back is probably the same lady who posted the video:

So, thumbs down to you.

Oh...thank god! For a minute I thought I saw real 8 year old children acting out a scene from Scar-Face and adults applauding after the epic death of the main child-actor.

To think I was only "duped" makes me blush at my own stupidity. Thank you for analyzing this to its simplest details and then returning here to clear up why I am just a victim of an elaborate hoax.

CGI children and all.

If the kids are real. Whether it is done by a school or not. Whether it is done by a parent or not. The fact remains that kids have been made to act out a R rated movie. Whoever has done it deserves not only the strictest punishment available under law, but also needs a psychiatric evaluation and possibly to be banned from going near any kids ever (specially if it is a parent).

If the kids are CGI someone seriously needs a new hobby.
