Let's all remember the end Mussolini met.

Don't even go there as between 2001 - 2008 it was 43's way or the highway and all who disagreed were labeled as "Enemy Combatants" or "Anti American". Can you say, hypocrite?

Anyone who is Anti-HCR is Anti People as for far too long someone else decided on your healthcare and not you. Have you or anyone you know been denied coverage? This is to effectively ban that evil practice. Romney's a moron as well.

As others have pointed out when 43 told aQ to "Bring it on" our troops are in their scopes and that somehow doesn't matter? Hypocrisy of the highest order.

endisnghe,
Under the former laws because you have a "PRE EXISTING CONDITION" no healthcare provider would cover you. This law mandates that you are covered. Do not complain as this now enables you to have the coverage of your choice and not who runs the marketshare in your region/State/Commenwealth.

The 10th Amendment allows the States to opt out of the law if they feel that it is unconstitutional.

To the rest of the diehard Neo Nazi Conservatives,
(Disclaimer : This is not inended to be taken as a direct attack on anyone here ATS/BTS or The Above Network, LLC. but to whoever is driving this hatred movements. The members here rock and y'all are mad cool!
!)

Do not dare cite this as being Unconstitutional as for the period between 2001 - 2008 more rights and freedoms were stripped under 43's watch then in every admin before it combined. You said nothing then and have forfeited your rights to complain now. If y'all are so concerned about The Constitution y'all should've said something back then but every damn one of y'all stayed silent and have the audacity to complain now. Get flipping real.

Just because the shoe in on the other foot and Obama's trying like hell to restore some decency and dignity back into the USA. An estimated $8 Trillion was spent under 43's watch and you said nothing. Do not dare complain now. You do not have the rights to complain now.

The Constitution Of The United States Of America is still the law of the land as in Jan 2009 Obama ordered it reinstated as we in reality never lost our rights. For rights to be taken away you must willingly, not while under duress, forced, be coerced to effectively according to the letter of the law be free and clear of your rights. Until that happens (Pray it never does God willing!) Ain't nothing changed but the date as the scenery remains the same for all!

May God (However you see Him/Her/It) continue to bless you all and may God Bless The United States Of America!

The HR law has a provision allowing states to opt out of the mandate, but they have to show that whatever they come up with covers as many people as the original law, and doesn't have a negative effect on the deficit.

Regardless of what the text reads, the 10th gives the states the right to tell the Govt to flip off and there ain't a darn thing they can do about it.

Which is why they still arrest medical mj patients in CA ?

Theory and the reality are two separate things.

A strict interpretation of the 10th amendment stopped a long time ago.

Here is updated chart.

The federal public debt, which was $6.3 trillion ($56,000 per household) when Mr. Obama entered office amid an economic crisis, totals $8.2 trillion ($72,000 per household) today, and it's headed toward $20.3 trillion (more than $170,000 per household) in 2020, according to CBO's deficit estimates.
