SCHOOLS hiring their grounds out to laser skirmish companies have come under fire and even have the Prime Minister scratching his head.
A skirmish company website which promoted some Queensland schools as perfect "killing fields" has hit a sour note with a public already reeling from the recent schoolyard stabbing death of 12-year-old Elliott Fletcher.
Now debate is ranging as to whether laser games should be allowed on school grounds.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd today questioned its validity as a way of raising money for schools.
